Nexus 7 2012 status bar - Omni Q&A

Hi,
Sorry didn't really know where to put this as there is no official omni thread for the nexus 7 2012 anywhere.
I've just flashed omni with a full wipe, and when I pull down the left hand status bar (without quick settings) the clock and clear notification buttons at the top are half cut off, sometimes they disappear altogether.
Is this a known issue?

Should be fixed in next nightly

Is there any way to remove the clutter from the status bar?

Hello! I've been searching for answers on this but couldn't find anything. I'm on Verizon for reference.
Is there any way to remove the enormous amount of stuff from the status bar? Right now I have a battery icon, the battery percentage, the signal, what speed I'm connected at, some "N" looking symbol, a vibrate icon, a GPS icon (even though GPS is off), and the time.
I want to remove it down to battery percentage, time, and my connection speed. Is there any way to do this without installing a custom status bar? If not, which custom status bar is best?
Thanks!

Nope, not possible without rooting and using a custom one. The "N" is for NFC. If you turn it off, it'll go away. However, it's stupid that there's an icon for that since stock android doesn't have one.
I use the AT&T version with: no carrier label, black status bar, no volume slider, no brightness slider, and stock android buttons (back, Home, Recents). Check the Verizon development forum or perhaps the Apps/Themes sub forum.
Awesome thanks! I am already rooted and waiting for some amazing new ROMs. Are there any custom bars you would suggest?

[Q] Immersive mode broken with update?

Hello,
Since an update a few days back, my immersive mode has stopped working properly. Now, whenever I get a notification, the status bar reappears and doesn't go away unless I restart the phone. I'm using a Google Nexus 5, running the latest version of Omni.
Thanks in advance.

[Q] Persistent white line at the top left of the screen in BAJAROM KitKat

I flashed BajaROM for KitKat. When the setup screen comes on a white line appears at the top left of the screen. It is constant throughout every screen. It would appear before in 4.3 but would go away as soon as I made the screen rotate. I didn't have the problem in Bean's KK. I went back into Safestrap and wiped the system and flashed BajaROM again with the same result. Any ideas?
That's a battery bar as far as I'm aware. It's the battery %. When I first installed the rom and I saw that line I was like oh crap, something didn't flash right - I hope that's not permanent! But I noticed it rotated with the screen and finally... when I plugged it in, it was pulsing. Now I use it all the time and really like it.
On your second screen shot of the team battery bar app open, the green Droid in the left bottom corner means that the battery bar is enabled, if you click that Droid he will turn red and the line will go away.

Battery Bar! Thanks I was thinking the same thing! That would explain that the line is all the way across this morning! Thanks again

Status bar icons Wifi - Data inverted position

Hello everyone, just received my essential phone couple of day ago. So far so good, but I have just a little issue that could sound a bit stupid but is driving me crazy: in my status bar the wifi icon and the data icon are inverted and I wasn't able to figure out why they switched position and how to restore it without a reset of the phone. Just take a look at the screenshot attached. Anyone know the solution? Thx
Inverted? Looks the same as mine.
When demo mode is ON you can see in the status bar that the icon are in the correct position (screenshot), just as any other Android device I have always used, don't know if it is an Android Pie change or it is just on Essential PH-1. It was just a matter of habit, good to know that is not an isolated bug, thank you for the answer.
I didn't notice mine inverted until the Pie upgrade. There is no changing it bruh. Drove me crazy too when I noticed it one day.
