[SOLVED]: Disadvantage of flashing to SHV-E210L firmware - Galaxy S III General

I've got an SHV-E210L (Korean Galaxy S III) running on an I9300 firmware (don't know how).
I saw on SamMobile that an Android 4.3 firmware is available for the SHV-E210L. I wanted to ask if I'll run into any problems if I flash that firmware?
Will my phone get locked if I flash that firmware?
BTW, just telling you I don't mind the 80-character SMS limit or the fact that I can't use EDGE. Are there any other disadvantages of flashing a Korean firmware?
I've also heard of I9300 users losing their IMEI's after flashing to 4.3 and having excessive battery drain and random reboots. Will I get those?
Thanks

I flashed the 4.3 Jellybean firmware (baseband version is in my signature). The phone works flawlessly and has no battery drain issues! The IMEI is still intact and texting and everything works great!

Are any of the S3 goodies missing from the BTU i9300 releasw present? E.g. S Translator, light effect, updated ripple effect, new camera features and UI.

PS: I keep reading conflicting reports about using i9300/i9305 roms on the SHV E210L. Any ideas..

totally not true, i just flashed it with odin, and my data is intact
Flashed mine with Odin and I am really impressed with this firmware. So far, I find it to be smooth, and best of all, the 4G signal is much much better.

Strangely the landscape mode bug present in CM 10.1 is absent in this ROM
If you dirty flash PAC over CM10.1 then you will get a FC of process.android.acore
I can't use any of the root apps like root browser or root functions like disabling boot animation. I just don't get a superuser prompt on using these apps
And also the problems mentioned by @chotu222

Android 4.2.2 for the Galaxy Grand DUOS leaked

The device came on Android 4.1.2 but with this Android 4.2.2 update that came from last month, you can expect some new features like transparent notification bar, Smart Stay, Light effect by unlocking, Page Buddy and Day dream. The device itself feels pretty fast compared with Android 4.1.2 and the battery life seems to be improved. Samsung didn’t update the camera with new features.
