Hi guys! I'm planning to buy D805 but i can't find many information about this specific model. Is there yet any root method? Thanks in advance.

Hi there thiago.
Im from brasil too and i thinking about trading my s4 to a g2.
i guess the d802 and d805 are the "same" inside...
the only thing that change are the 4g frequencies...
you can see on this link
Ifffff....i were you...i would flash a d802 (internacional) into a d805 ...
i dont see major problems..except that you 4g probably wont work...
i not responsable if you brick your device..
edit:
after a little research i found this topic...take a look

Go read twrp threads, then go on irc and help the developers by giving them aboot and recovery images and help them test, orybuy them a D802 phone.
Wow that sucks, i thought we could use the AT&T version for international. Damnit, and i bought the phone yesterday. Will see if i can help the devs once i get the phone.

Norway. I should get mine either monday or tuesday. I was expecting the international version to be same as AT&T for the most part, as they look almost identical.

Did you try to reinstall the modem for your particular phone model? Or you can restore to stock (backup your files) and see if the problem continues.

Used lg g2: atnt d802??

Hey, my friend bought a used lg g2. We've tried to identify if it's original or not by checking it with cpu-z online verification. I've found something interesting. It says that it's atnt version, but it says it's d802. How is this possible? It had cyanogenmod pre-installed..
1st thought was that it's d802 with d800 motherboard. Is it possible? If so, which roms should I install?

Can't confirm that right now, i'll check it tomorrow with my friend.
But it actually wasn't rooted. Friend checked it with root checker. That was a surprise for me too, don't all cyanogen roms come pre-rooted?

If it came with a custom ROM most likely the phones is already rooted and has twrp installed. I think you can disable SuperSU setting from developer settings in some Roms. To answer your question, yes you may have a franken phone. Which means that it is refurbished to look like a d802 whne in fact it is a d800. They change the imei and back cover so that you won't know. Do NOT attempt to update the device through lg mobile support tool it will brick your phone.

Yeah i understand that. It should have a custom recovery just for the cyanogen to be there in the first place.
I want to install Cloudy rom for him to have a better overall experience, since i have it installed on my own g2.
If i make a full backup and try installing a cloudy, can i endure any problems if i try the d800 rom?

How to know if my G6 can be unlocked?

Hello, I got LG G6. and due to the lack of updates, I want to unlock the Bootloader and Flash a ROM on the device.
I Got the H870 Model, is all the H870 models are unlockable?
How can I know the exact model of the phone (I saw there is H870DS or something like that too)?
Thanks in advance!

If your phone is H870 EU/UK then it is unlockable through LG official.
