I think if you check the Xposed Framework thread... you'll find that Xposed is not yet KitKat friendly.
Greenify on it's own is running fine for me though.

Nothing that runs off the xposed module is working at the moment. The developer is waiting to get his phone (nexus 5) in order to update it. On the greenify app thread the developer introduced a work around update for xposed that will enable it to work with KitKat. Go in there and download it abs you'll be able to use any xposed module.

Xposed?

Anyone had safely tested xposed on Note 4?
Tmo note 4 here, xposed seems to have broken s health and private mode from what I've found so far.
So it's pretty much the same as S5, I wonder the fix in S5 will work on Note 4. I remember changing some values in a file when I was on S5 with xposed.
Edit:
Just found what I changed last time:
Change in the build.prop:
ro.securestorage.support=false
From 'true' to 'false'.
Anyone brave enough to try?

Tried already, but seems doesn't work. So, I freeze S-health right away.....
There is an Xposed module that should fix this by @wanam I don't know if it will work on the Note 4 like it does on the S5 though.

The method you mentioned with the changing of the build.prop is reliant on more than just the changing of ro.securestorage.support=true.
1. Make sure you don't have Xposed installed, if you do uninstall it.
2. Then change ro.securestorage.support=true to ro.securestorage.support=false.
3. Install Xposed Framework.
4. Wipe the data from S Health and HealthService.
5. Reboot.
P.S. Pretty sure this method doesn't fix Private Mode

so i would rather go the module fix route then. Once we can get someone to confirm activating it doesn't hose up the phone of course.
I installed Xposed for a few hours, it made the phone very laggy, so I uninstalled it.

Freeze s-health until a fix is found.
My phone is running fantastic at the moment.
It was laggy as crap after installing xposed.
Now its flawless.
They had this problem on the S5, the reason why it lags so much is that Xposed interferes with one of the checks that Private mode and the S Health service use, which causes the sensor for S Health to constantly hang(this causes the lag you have mentioned).
The Wanam module XSecureStorage fixes this by skipping the check the apps make.
I imagine the reason why Private Mode doesn't work even with this module, is because the Secure Element is in a different place; since this module is technically only for S5 and hasn't been update for compatibility.

Sense 6 technically works, but you can't access the settings because it displays a big "not compatible" message. Still, if you had it before and the settings are still there it will continue to use those settings. Thats my experience with it so far.

Anyone with an M8 experiencing Motion Launch not working after flashing Xposed Alpha? This is the double tap to wake feature. I'm just wondering if it's something I did separately to cause it not to work or a side effect of flashing this alpha version of Xposed.
Not working for me. One M8 GPE TWRP 2.8.5.0. Hangs on the boot animation. Required a reflash to restore my device.

A full reboot cleared it up, but it did show again once more after that... Another reboot fixed it again, followed immediately by a soft reboot of course. Hopefully the same works for you, I know I need my double tap to wake.

Xposed - Fingerprint and performance issue

I was rooted, had xposed installed and realized that the fingerprint scanner is much slower and not as responsive as when i am on stock B27 or just stock and rooted.
Stock = less than a second to unlock
Stock + root = less than a second to unlock
Stock + root + xposed (without modules yet) = more than a second to unlock and device performance seems to take a hit. UI lags very often.
I have tried this on a clean setup as well same issue. anyone else with xposed having similar or better experience?

I had modules before (xprivacy, xposed additions and Audio Stream Music Default). But on the clean install I had just xposed and still the same issue.
Looks to me that there might be some interfering between Mifavor UI and xposed.
They should really consider going stock when they release Nougat. Less hassle for them to maintain and easier for us to deal with.

Thanks for the reply guys!
I think I might have figured the root cause of the issue. I installed my modules one by one and realized that uninstalling xprivacy module fixed the issue. It's unfortunate since it was one of my favourite modules
my modules for whoever is interested:
-Audio Stream Music Default - pressing volume keys anytime changes media volume instead of ringtone volume
-xposed additions - cutomize volume keys with multiple taps, long presses for multiple use on lockscreen, screen on/off (i use it for long press volume up or down to switch tracks)
-xprivacy - to control what permissions apps use (but doesnt seem to work with MiFavor so i disabled it)
I had this problem while I was on b20, it went back to normal after I went and updated to b27 via @DrakenFX 's method.. When I came back up with b27, root, xposed, bl unlock, haven't had the slow fingerprint problem If it helps anyone else..

Currently it's not activated.
But 2 days ago, when I installed it firstly, after reboot I couldn't use the phone: it couldn't even get to the pin screen. It was continously doing a screen on and off.
I had to uninstall gravitybox via adb from my pc.
But it has to work (it says you have to activate it) even if it's not activated. At least, on my other device (Moto x style) it does.

It seems that if you install Xposed before installing this APK, it won't detect Xposed properly, but installing the APK before installing Xposed seems to work.
This is only if you're installing through Magisk, as I haven't tried installing it conventionally through TWRP.
I was able to install by installing the xposed app then letting the app download and install the framework.

Does installing this on Oreo 8.1 Pixel 2s break the SafetyNet (Android pay, banking apps, and etc)?

Xposed Beta for 8.1 (SDK27)

Xposed was released for Oreo! Been so long don't know where to start.
EDIT: (I was just being dumb)
Grab the systemless version. Easiest way is through Magisk. Just make sure your on 15.2 or grab it via the link below.

I think the best method is using the systemless version for magisk, I just tried it and it works.
Simpy go into modules and you will see the sdk27 version at the very bottom: tap on it, you see there is an updated xposed manager apk made for the new magisk version.
Download the apk, install the module, reboot, install apk, reboot.
Works with no problems
Enjoy

I feel dumb but I don't see xposed anywhere in the modules section of the Magisk Manager app.
Is there some other way I should be finding modules? I click on the hamburger menu and then downloads and there's about 30 or so listed.

Never mind. I figured out I had to be on Magisk 15.2. I was on 14.5.
So anyway I downloaded the Xposed Installer that is linked in Magisk Manager and installed it. Then I installed Xposed inside of Magisk. The only problem is the Xposed Installer crashes every time I click on a module to download. Does anyone else have this issue?

Yes, I confirm, I don't know if it's caused by Magisk or because it's just a beta...
Anyway there is a workaround, instead of downloading the module from xposed manager, download the apk of the module from internet (official repo website or from whatever you want), because when you are going to install and enable the modules there are no problems, and after a reboot they're working.
Updated op to reflect install options. Happy modding everyone!

I am happily enjoying the stock ROM on my XL and I keep the same installed on my wife's Pixel. I spent years swapping out custom ROMs on various devices and expected to do the same when I got the PIxels (very shortly after released almost 2 years ago). After the initial shortage of custom ROMs (due to the new OS engineering method) subsided and plenty came out, I realized there was nothing I was missing enough to deal with running custom and not being able to do a monthly update that takes me literally less than 10 minutes. Besides not missing anything, there is pretty much no bloat I need to get rid of, and the device still runs great even with a handful of "always on" apps. Probably best for you to look at the development sub-forum and do your research there and ask questions.
