[Q] Lockscreen Wigets in Extended Size - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hey all!
i´ve a question about the touchwiz lockscreen on the Note 3.
Normally the lockscreens are small. (you need to pull it down to see more like dashclock notifications)
is there a solution to have the lockscreen widgets always extended (or. big) ?
Thank you !!!!!!!!!!

Bump
leave a 'thanks' if i helped

I'm trying to find a way too but there seems to be no way to leave it in extended form.

If you are rooted, Google xposed installer. Install Xposed Installer, Open the app, tap on framework and tap install. Then go back to the main menu and tap on download and search for: maximize lockscreen widgets. Install and activate the module, then reboot.

3 Apps Your Note 3 Definitely Needs

Simple question! 3 apps without which you can't imagine having your Note 3.
I'd say:
1. Lockscreen Widget
2. Facebook
3. CPU Spy
Anybody know a good lockscreen where I can put the camera Icon bit still have a pin to enter?

If you're rooted, there's an Xposed module called "Samsung Multiple Widgets". It allows multiple widgets on a secured lockscreen, and includes an option to swipe left to launch the camera. It prevents access to the Gallery app, but as a result, you also can't review any pics you've just taken.
1. Xposed framework and App Settings and wanam (need root)
2. Folder Sync - to sync folders on your phone with cloud services
3. Tasker - automate your life

I am not rooted though. I need a camera Icon on the lock screen and still have to use a pin to get in. I do not want to root... Anyone have any ideas?

1. Apex Pro
2. Zooper Widget
3. Sidebar Pro
4. ES File explorer. (Which idiot decided it was a good idea to remove the 'remember scroll position' feature on the stock explore? Not all that fun if you have a folder with 2764 sequential files... And it keeps hoping back to top after every single one.)

You may need to look this up but de la vega method of rooting WON'T trip the Knox warranty void....
Also I found this on the Aussie thread - Another handy tip, in the CSC folder, rename the customer.xls to customer.xls.bak and then a new option will be available in the settings/device/lock screen menu to add app shortcuts to the lock screen
---------- Post added at 12:50 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:08 PM ----------
Just trying to keep all these hints and tricks in one place.
if you add this code to the others.xml file AFTER <FeatureSet> and BEFORE </FeatureSet>
<CscFeature_Sip_UseSymbolInCMKey>true</CscFeature_Sip_UseSymbolInCMKey>
<CscFeature_Sip_EnableSymbolInSecondary>en_GB;en_U S;de;fr;es;it</CscFeature_Sip_EnableSymbolInSecondary>
You will then enable sub symbols on the default keyboard (Like below)

Thankyou Tobz...
I have a Note 3 from the Phillipines but it still worked.... You will still need to be rooted though...
I still want a pin locked screen with a camera Icon I can use on my non rooted phone without rooting my phone.

[Q] Still Seeing the Samsung Lockscreen?

I've tried installing several custom lockscreen, currently using C-Locker. The problem is, occasionally the stock Samung lockscreen will appear. Sometimes it will get replaced in a second by the custom lockscreen and sometimes the stock lockscreen stays until I turn off the screen and turn it back on.
Is there a way to freeze/stop the stock lockscreen? or to make the custom lockscreen the ONLY lockscreen that see?
Thanks
Go to settings, search for lockscreen, set it from swipe to none. Simple
You're welcome.

How to enable themes on the att lg g2

I share this gem with you courtesy of someone called Leftarmspinner.
TO ENABLE THEMES ON THE ATT LG G2.
1. Download and install Launcher Pro from Google Play (you don't need to set it as default launcher or anything) and Later you can uninstall. This enables the hidden settings menu, which most of us have done one way or another.
2. Add Activities widget to your LG Launcher home screen. Search for Home > com.lge.launcher2.hiddenmenu.LGHomeHiddenMenuActivity
3. Voilà now you have access to hidden settings from your Home screen. Look for the setting feature_use_theme and check it off.
4. You can now use themes!!!! How cool.

Nevermind I got it....
If you're having trouble enabling the setting, there is an easier way
Download the module G2 tweaks for xposed.
Go to misc tweaks
Enable hidden launcher settings.

Anyway guys, I found a solution to acces to the hidden setting without installing Launcher Pro.
Just get "Any Shortcut" on the market (here (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.oboenikui.anyshortcut)), then create a shortcut with these parameters :
*Application :* com.lge.launcher2
*Activity :* com.lge.launcher2.hiddenmenu.LGHomeHiddenMenuActivity (without a space between "Activ" and "ity" !)
*Action :* nothing
*Intent :* nothing
(See screenshot in attachment).
Then : create, your shortcut is done !
And you have access to the launcher hidden settings

thr s no rotation in lock-screen on touch-wiz
u probably use custom lock-screen?
and if yes, u should ask developers of that app to fix this.
:good:
Choose the wallpaper again for lock screen, when it asks you to size it, rotate your phone then re-size it.

I am having the same problem, and this did not fix it, unfortunately. Lockscreen rotation is enabled by Gravitybox. I tried setting the wallpaper in both Gravitybox and system settings.
---------- Post added at 08:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:56 PM ----------
I "solved" this by disabling unlock effect. Would like to have both, but this was the only workaround I could find.

Hide "tap to add widget on locksreen"

I like to have a very clean looking lockscreen, and would like to get rid of this. Any ideas? I haven't found any xposed modules with this option, and hope I may have just missed the right one.

A way would be to add a completely transparent widget which do nothing. . I don't know if exist. Perhaps a transparent clock in which you can set clock to transparent so you see nothing. . I think i had one but dont remember it now..
---------- Post added at 10:15 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:00 PM ----------
Just did it myself I had zooper widget installed. So i chose to create. A new widget, choose empty , set full transparent, and set do nothing. 1 minute job.. It does the work. No xposed plugin there is for this for now.
Thanks, I will try that.
