[Q] Changing carrier text on lockscreen? - Nexus 5 Themes and Apps

There doesn't seem to be a trick to do this like in the past, and while not a huge deal, would be nice if somebody knew how on KK.
anybody know?

password lock for certain things

Hi everyone.
Well I just have a question that I've searched but didn't come up with many answers for...
I want to know if there are any apps that can lock certain parts of a touch pro 2 [tmobile]
such as: text messages or contacts.
i just have some privacy issues.
i have the energy rom ...just in case you needed to know
any help would be great.
thanks!
same here!
LOL.....Tryin to hide something from a significant other? That's pretty much the only reason someone would want the ability to do this. Cuz if you lock the whole phone, they will think something is up. haha

Yeah, that was helpful. Rather presumptuous, too.

You are probably talking about this thread:

If they couldn't figure it out, I'm sure it cannot be done.

I don't know. Looks more like a gimmick than anything, not to mention that it's just another screen to provide power to.
As for the lockscreen, won't know till the ROM hits/leaks.
i kind of assumed as much. i just wondered if there was a theme or other modification that someone had built.
as for the phone, it just looks TOO big to me! (i know, thats what she said)
Glad to see just more and more great android phones coming out though. Restriction to select hardware hurt apple in the past - I assume all the options will get android nabbing more and more of the marketshare, and bring in more innovators/apps. Still waiting on an android worldphone, though....

UniFlash - New tool To Flash/Mod/Backup

Has anybody tried UniFlash yet?

I would want to try this once I am at home and see if it works for our Nexus S. Seems to be a good alternative although it seems to have a few bugs to be resolved.
Did you mean to make 2 threads about this?

Multi-Window in the works!!???

Hey all,
Saw this post on Reddit. This would awesome and make the N6/9 experience that much better....If its true of course. Thoughts?
http://www.reddit.com/r/nexus6/comments/2mqcpl/regarding_multiwindow_feature_for_the_nexus_6/
i believe you can use the xposed module multiwindow feature if you root your device.
There's no xposed on lollipop. It doesnt work with art.

I used this module on my N7 back on Kitkat and it didn't work very well. Most of the apps I tried crashed right away. Hope a native solution works better.
Yeah, it's pretty much inevitable that Google would implement this feature in the near future, given the size of their Nexus 6 phablet, in addition to all of their Nexus tablets. They can't let Samsung have all the glory.
Does anyone else think people are laughing at you everytime they type LOLlipop?
