[Q] strange behaviour after 1 week rooted

Hello guys
I am new to android and to galaxy s. Actually i bought my first android phone 1 week ago, and it is a galaxy s4 gt-i9505
i rooted the phone and everything was fine. After one week, i made a restart of the phone, and it remained stuck on the second logo of samsung.
I did try a hard reset, but nothing changed
I did try to root again the phone with odin, and after it passed the second logo screen, a window in greek language showed off (using google translator basically it tells: updating functions of android application..opening application) and it is stucked there.
Did i bricked my device and nothing can be done?
Please help me
P.S. Can i try to flash my s4 with stock firmware?

Phone won't boot anymore

HI guys. I have a bit of an issue with my phone.
It's the Sprint variant of the Galaxy Note 3 and I had been running Temasek's CM12 build on it. However, I wanted to try Sacs S6 port that was posted over at the Sprint Galaxy Note 3 forum.
I flashed it, but now when I try to load it, it gets stuck on the Samsung loading screen.
I tried to restore my phone back to the backup I made right before I flashed it but when I do that my phone shows the Galaxy Note III screen then turns black and nothing happens.
Any advice would be very appreciated. I'm very confused at the moment.
Sprint forum Q&A as its a different product .
Suggest recovery mounts and storage format system data cache preload .
Boot to download mode and flkash correct stock rom via Odin .

Hello! This is herna from XDA Assist.
In your case, it would be recommended to flash a firmware from zero in your device. To know which tutorials you should follow and which version you should install I´ll move your thread to the correct section and you should get a better answer there with the correspondant instructions.
In case you have another problem related to your device, you should create a thread in the below section:

Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition GT-I9515 screen locked

Dear All,
First of all, allow me to wish you Happy New Year 2018. Hopefully 2018 will be a good year for all of us.
Anyway I need your kind help regarding my Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition GT-I9515 (LRX22C.I9515XXU1BQD2) All default settings, no rooting, USB debugging off.
Yesterday I mistakenly set 6 digits of PIN CODE to it. After restart, the PIN CODE was deemed to be INCORRECT and I could not access the phone.
Unfortunately I did not turn on both DATA and WIFI so I could not recover it from google or Samsung websites.
I visited the authorized service centre in town, and they could not help due to this model is not available for my country.
The available access now are on sim card and external memory card.
I still have some data in the phone that I need to recover, so factory reset might be at the last priority in recovering this phone.
Would you please let me know how to access my phone again? Please help me, thank you!
You can try to flash TWRP Recovery, and from there you need to go to /Data/System and delete two files, called "gatekeeper.password.key" and "gatekeeper.pattern.key" then reboot your Device and your Phone should be unlocked, if not then entering any random Pin number should unlock it.
Hope this will help you
Thank you very much for your help, Fatal_Scythe. Let me try to find the neccessary resources and perform the procedure
Fatal_Scythe, problem solved
Hi Fatal_Scythe,
Thank you very much again for your valuable advice!!! Yes I have just successfully unlocked the lock screen of my phone around a couple of hours ago!!
As per your recommendation, I downloaded ODIN & TWRP for GT-I9515. Because I am really new with this, I installed TWRP Recovery as per guide from theandroidsoul.com. For steps to remove PIN, I got that from .howtogeek.com.
In File Manager of TWRP, I went to /data/system folder. Only 3 files named locksettings were found and deleted:
locksettings.db
locksettings.db-shm
locksettings.db-wa1
Finally I restarted the system and all things are back to normal, no more PIN request.
I hope my short explanation above may be useful for those who encounters the same problem as mine. There is no need to reflash or format/hard-reset the phone. All data is retained. Thank you for your enlightement :good::good::good::good::good:
