Hi.
Kitkat 4.4 is not available yet as currently Samsung just release is 4.3.
So, u will not expect 4.4 soon.
U have been answered before on yr other thread.

you can update to kitkat but for that wait for it
also if you have rooted then you can try ota root keeper or have to flash 4.4 through odin when available

Hallo.
I flash the latest leak I9505XXUFNA5. I do it with odin. I was not rooted. I want to go back to stock. But a heard that is not possible cause the new bootloader.
Who can help me.

Hi mate ,If you flash a stock NA5 you can no longer downgrade to stock 4.3. but you can try to flash your 4.3 Nandroid back up via recovery. or You can atleast downgrade to any custom 4.3 roms even aosp rom as well.Have a nice day

If the official kk came out in the end of january . Yea you should be alright . But if your thinking to downgrade to 4.3 stock then its not possible. If your having any issue with the leak,just flash the kitkat rom again.

I337Z ..... is that newest firmware? If you could go to menu> settings> about device that would be more help...... I'm kinda curious myself. ....

The I337Z is running on 4.2.2 built JDQ39.I337ZZTUUAMH1
they did not push 4.3 update on it yet
Let me know when a rom for i337z comes, and the 4.4.2 update is OTA now but I don't want to update because I might loose root

You should be able to use any 4.2.2 Touchwiz ROM through Safestrap.

I downloaded it with my own phone then rooted and went to the folder it was located and copied it to my sdcard, you tried re-download? Im running intika rom so now im still not updating, i have found if you update to 4.4 safestrap doesnt work

You cannot update a rooted device via OTA - it'll download, but it won't install. You have to unroot to install it, and I don't even think it works. - Better flashing it via Odin, then re-rooting.
As the title says, system update is not an option.
What ROM should I flash so it is an option so I can try my luck at updating to kk?

If you are wanting to update to the newly released ATT KitKat update, you need to flash back to stock ATT ROM. Otherwise, it will not send you the update. Or, you can wait for someone to create a flashable ROM that works for you.
Hello..i an using note 3 verizon with lollipop 5.0 which i have upgraded to from kitkat 4.4.2 using odin. I am new to this stuff and i cannot find any root method for lollipop. But my question is can i install any custom rom like jasmine without root? What are the prerequisites? I tried to flash cwm recovery but it didn5 work out using odin. Now what are my options. Kindly help please keep in mind that i am a novice.

Because no exploit is avaliable if you are at our above 4.4.4
No you can't downgrade below 4.4.4
No there's nothing else you can do to get root.
