Samsung i437 CM 10.2 keyboard crash - Samsung Galaxy Express SGH-I437 Questions & Answer

Hi all, I would post this in the development forum on installing the CM 10.2 ROM (cm-10.2-20130925-UNOFFICIAL-expressatt.zip) on the Samsung Galaxy Express i437, but I don't yet have the status to do so.
In any case, I have rooted and attempted to install the CM 10.2 ROM several times, and although I can install it, I keep getting the message 'Unfortunately, Android Keyboard (AOSP) has stopped.' In an attempt to make sure my bases are covered, I've installed the I437-UCDMG3-bootloader_update.tar file, gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip file (which, after installation, says the apps are for 4.2.2, not 4.3). I am using CW recovery 6.0.3.7 and SuperSU-v1.25+.zip. Can anyone give me any insights into what I should do? I haven't seen this issue reported anywhere and it appears to be the only thing stopping me from running this ROM.
Thanks for your help.

[SOLVED] Play Store won't download some apps.

Most apps download fine, but some can't download or update. They are stuck on downloading... forever.
That problem persists since the day one, regardless of the rom i use. It was like that on stock, slim 6.0, newest paranoid android, CM 10.1, and now on slim 6.2 nightly.
The usual steps from google support page don't help, and my Galaxy S now has that problem too with the same apps and I'm 100% sure it was OK before i got Nexus 7. Any ideas what may be the cause of this?
edit: OK, restarting my router helped lol...

Revert to custom rom from Cyanogenmod...

Hello
I installed Cyanogenmod 11 on my Galaxy Note 3 few months ago, and I am fairly displeased with the stability...
I use the snapshot version M8, clear the Davnik cache, clear/wipe cache partition...
However, the device is still very unreliable, and is rebooting unexpectedly far too often...
The customs roms which are announced as very stable are the ones based on Samsung TouchWiz firmware...
Therefore, I am now giving a try to the one called " X-note "...
I use the clockworkmod recovery version 6.0.5, and the " X-note " zip rom file from there...
However, when I try to install the rom, the following message appears... :
" Starting aroma installer version 2.70RC2
2013 by amarullz xda developpers "
Nothing else happen afterwards...
Would someone be able to help me with this issue... ?
I also tried with an other rom called " Bobcat ", and the same message appears...
Thank You for your Help...

Hello do you have the last bootloader?
Those are 4.4.2 based rom. Have your phone upgraded to 4.4.2 bootloader?. Dont confuse with cm11 4.4.2 as it can run on 4.3 bootloader
Thank You for your replies...
By using the following apps, Phone INFO ?Samsung?
It is said that the bootloader version is N9005XXUDMJ7
Otherwise, I would not if it is a 4.4.2 bootloader...

Hi arnaud! You may be interested in Temasek's CyanogenMod build. You can find the thread in the Android Development forum.
Thank You for this interesting recommendation...
Arnaud
I can recommend you Temasek's CyanogenMod build as well. I am using it as daily rom. Give it a try. If you don't like it you can try Crash ROM.
I am now using Temasek's CyanogenMod , and no more crashes are occurring...
Thank You for this recommendation...

Problems with my I9505 - encryption

Hello,
First post so big hello to everyone
I've recently startet experiencing issues with my Galasy X4 - issues always appear after encrypting device. Description:
- Device working fine on Ressurection Remix , CyanogenMod 12 and Stock ROM fine just after flashing (stable, all functionalities OK)
- My company email enforcing encryption or phone, straight after this process I cannot use my device (process goes without any problem, device rebooting). For example on stock rom I'm experiencing problem with NFC service all the time crashing, on CyanogenMod and Ressurection Remix Gapps process all the time stop responding etc. I cannot use my phone after encryption process ass all the time its crashing and I can only press OK all the time.
Is anyone aware of that kind of the issues? Any advices howto avoid them? Please let me know if you need any more details.

Many thanks for any suggestionso on this one.
P.S.
I'm using for flashing Odin / Heimdall ... because some reason Kies does not reconize my device - so I cannot go back to stock rom using it. Strange thing that going on stock 4.4 ROM is that when Im trying to perform update it says me that my device was modified - dont know is it imporant. Of course on stock firmwares I'm not using root (on ressurection & cm I installing CWM)

[Q] Flashing CM to G-901F

Hello all,
I am new here and I registered because I wanted to Flash my Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus (G-901F) to the latest CyanogenMod, I've downloaded the latest 12.1 nightly but that one doesn't want to install because my phone isn't supported and gives me Status 7 error? So I tried to download the latest 12.0 nightly but that one I can't download from the site (gives me 404 error) so what do I need to do to be able to flash my Phone to the latest CyanogenMod? I already have installed CWM recovery so that worked... I have rooted with CF-Auto Root, that worked perfectly as well, it's only this problem I'm facing.

[Q] i9300 "supersu doesn't appear to be installed" issue

Hello,
I have previously installed AOKP and different versions of Cyanogenmod on this phone (i9300) but when I try to install the paranoid android 5.1 latest rom using TWRP it installs successfully but just before boot I get a message saying supersu doesn't appear to be installed and would I like to install it. The latest version of supersu is installed (along with the latest TWRP) and whether I click yes or no the phone reboots and gets stuck in a boot loop.
This doesn't happen when I install other roms so I am puzzled
It has nothing to do with SuperSU.
The rom doesn't ship with root, that's left up to you. The problem you are seeing is because there is an issue with i9300. There are many posts about this in the g+ community and a few here as well. You need boeffla kernel to flash just after flashing ROM

Yes you are right, thanks.
For people installing on i9300: only 4.0 alpha 3 worked for me, the latest version (6) failed. Saw on the g+ community another person failed to boot with alpha 6 too.
