Hello everyone. I was hoping that some of you could help me. I rooted my phone and unlocked its boot loader and I want to install a custom ROM but I have no idea how. If someone could give me a couple of links to some guides or tutorials that would be great. If you need any information about my phone I will post it as soon as I can.

the CWM is same on any device, and the installation too
I installed the Slimbean ROM on my phone and when I rebooted it, I got a blue screen and the screen went all weird now. How do I fix my phone?
i think the rom is not good, try again, wipe everything and flash it , after reboot
It worked, thank you. I installed the wrong ROM on my phone but I've installed the right one now. What is a kernel and do I need it?

the rom contains the kernel
kernel = the conection between hardware and software

Okay. Thank you very much for all the help. Can you recommend me a ROM I should install? I am currently running Slimbean 2.1 but it doesn't suit me quite well.

We were trying to install a kernel for cm 6 and after rebooting the phone bootloops. We tried to go into recovery but the phone still bootloops
Any other way to access the recovery / recover from this bootloop

2. Start Odin, load spica_jc3.ops as OPS file and anything flashable- kernel, backup4odin, rooting package, firmware
3. Except for default flashing parameters check also Debug ONLY and Parameter Clear

Does anyone engaged in the development Samsung GT-i7500 GALAXY.
Phone is OK performance, I do not know why no one interested in the development of ROM. The current ROM that I use is 2.2.1? Is not it just the phone challenge for programmers?

my phone is currently locked to Orange and i'm trying to get a GiffGaff (O2) sim to work. i originally thought having a rom on there unlocks it but i dont think it does.
i've heard the cyanogenmod doesnt have the security screen so i can't unlock it when i type in the 2945#*540# etc.. can anyone help me with recommending me a rom that will have the security screen on it? would prefer flash boot since KDZ update program and Recovery dont work for me for some reason. (i also have the problem of no lg logo, blank screens on recovery start up, i did find something to help on that but it doesnt work, KDZ just crashes when i start flashing)

you need any 2.1 rom they do support sin-unlock.
try with eleganceswift

Actually i don't know idea about E400R, F or D. but almost of E400 series have a same hardware (thought)
just let's make everything easy;
> Root your phone
> Install ClockWork Mod Recovery ( use ROM Manager app )
> DO A NANDROID BACKUP ( this is important before do something stupid with your system )
> Install any ROM you like ( read carefully of guide or tutorial or every single posts on the thread firstly. there's alot of lazy noobs ignore it)
> Then if any something wrong with your phone ( probably not causing by the ROM ), just revert back/ restore your backup.
that's it, you can always try and try... i believe it if you got any problems, all xda members would help you out.

Oops! Got brick! I tried installing it with philz touch but got status 7 error. So I flashed twrp and installed with that. ewerything went smoothly but now the phone wont boot past the samsung logo? Anyone got any ideas?

Read, read more and search, that's what the search function is for.
Use framaroot to root you phone. There are a variety of ROMs in the development section. Try them.

as to roms am still new to this phone so am learning myself so can't advise on roms....
