Sudden battery drain - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Anyone else experiencing battery drain? I'm fully stock unrooted. This is kinda sudden. I have had fantastic battery life and then not for some reason unknown to me. Can anyone gather anything from this screenshot?

Get Wake lock detector from Google play that will show you what's going on

The call of duty elite app seems to have done it...? Lol, I never even use it, so I uninstalled it. Battery is stable now and phone cooled down. Thanks, Jay.

Why is cell standbye taking so much battery?

Well it takes up so much battery it's not funny. I still post screen shot of what I mean. So we could get some help with this problem.

this is a common issue. it isn't actually taking up that much battery, it is just reported as doing so. there's a flash able zip somewhere if you really care about it.

Pleaseeeeee search before posting.
The power profile.XML is reading the cell standby as 34mA instead of 3.4mA causing it to show crazy high usage. Its not draining battery. Its simply a reading error by the os. And a lazy dev forgot their period there.

Thank you for the info. Much respect for post back. I'm not rooted so can't flash anything to fix it.

[WAKELOCK] l2_hsic

l2_hsic is keeping my phone awake like crazy.
Has anyone experienced this on their Note N7100?
I tried with powering off, removing the battery and powering on. It doesn't help.
Any help would be appreciated

It's mobile data transfer. Find out which apps are syncing too regularly.

Can you provide some more information? Like what kernel are you using? Rom? Apps? What is your screen time and such.
One thing I see is life 360 is on your stats. That could be one of reason or the main reason it's eating up your battery's power. And looks like Google services could be a culprit. Again, provide more information so we can help you.

I know a lot of you probably don't like or even use life square but I kind of like it.
Anyway here's my problem, I can't login Twitter in life square, it crashes back to homescreen with an error Network unavailable soon as I put a tick in the Twitter option, is this a known bug or is it just me?
Thanks in advance

I had the same thing happen on my G2. Luckily I don't use Twitter for a long time. So it is not a problem for me.
Ahhhh right so it's not just me then

CRAZY high battery drain with snapchat?

So directly comparing with my OPO and 6P snapchat is draining battery like f****** crazy on my S7 edge.
Anyone else feeling me on this or is it only happening me?
Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Yeah it's a snapchat thing. Use it a lot and you'll see your battery tank. When you leave the app, make sure you close it. Don't leave it running in the background.

Been 3h 10min SoT, and still snap has 15% more usage than the screen.
Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Yea, looks similar on mine. I've just toned down my snapchat usage honestly. That's the only thing that helped.

snapchat is number 1 RAM hugger and battery hugger of all apps I have..it`s really bad optimized!
Screen and periscope on top here.
