can anyone tell me or point me in the right direction on how to change icons for apps like camera, music and so on don't like stock icons and is is hard work?? thanks in advance

You can install a launcher from the playstore, personally i recommend Nova Launcher its so smooth and customizable. And then on play store there are just a million Icon Packs that you can download and play with it.

Why not visit the google play store, there you will see and find a lot of
icon packs for your phone.
Here is the icon packs link at the play store if you want to check it out:
https://play.google.com/store/search?q=icon%20pack&c=apps&hl=en
The nice part about these icon packs is that they are not dependent as to
which launcher you want to use, these icon packs work with just about
any launcher and launcher themes.
Best of all most of them are free downloads! LOL

Change apps icon?

Hey guys i just picked up my S4 yesterday as a treat for my birthday yesterday and love it, but im curious how do you change the apps icon?
Example: http://i.imgur.com/6gtp79K.jpg
That's actually Nova / Apex launcher with icon packs installed over them. You can easily search them on Play store.

Hey man thanks for the reply, well i actually have NOVA Launcher installed atm and an icon pack, but the actuall button that you press to bring up the app draw is the same old default ugly one, opposed to the nice looking one that you see in the picture above.. Really want to change it as that one icon really makes me angry when i look at it lol
I figured it out
If anyone needs to know..
Just hold down the apps draw icon then edit then you can select what icon you wish to use

How do I replace the standard TW phone dialer icon

I'm using the stock 4.4.2 TW ROM with the Google Now launcher. Other than using another launcher (which I don't want to do as I want the Google cards on the left most screen that comes with the Google Now launcher), how can I replace the standard Samsung TW very ugly phone dialer icon?
I've tried WizIconizer with an icon pack that is supposed to replace the OEM icons, but it doesn't work. Is there any other way to replace the standard TW icons for the phone dialer and camera?

I remember an app called icon visualiser or android visualiser which creates shortcuts with different icons.
Install Xposed framework. Then module Unicon. And of course you need to have some icon pack installed, like Stark or Click etc.

unicon changes all icons he just wants to have it on phone app.
Thanks guys, I've tried all the above suggestions and I can't seem to get any one of them to do something so simple...........................
@CayenneGTS
Icon changer free available on play store can do that for you.. but an icon will change just as the shortcut.

Lollipop app draw icon

For anyone wanting to make the stock ASUS Launcher look a bit more like stock Lollipop, I found an icon pack called LolliPop Colored on the Play Store. Applied via the icon packs setting in the launcher, it doesn't do anything other than change the wallpaper and app drawer icon. I then use the standard Nexus blue wallpaper.
You can get the same result by using the Google Now launcher. Plus it's an official app. You'll also get the "Okay google" function from any screen using this launcher instead.

Sure you can use google now, or nova or apex. That's not the point. For various reasons some people, myself included, want to use the stock Asus launcher. This is just a way to have it slightly nearer in appearance to stock lollipop's material design. Oh, and "OK Google" from any screen is available in the stock launcher too - it's an option in Google settings.

Sorry, I don't know how to share links for google play store apps (there's no sharing option like there is on apple app store). But if you search "LolliPop Colored theme" it will be top of the search results (it's by Alper Selzer)
I installed xposed framework yesterday. Using gravitybox module to activate softkeys (and expanded desktop so that can hide them again easily). Then used Xstana module to change the ASUS softkeys and status bar icons to Lollipop style. With WM Density changed to 270 (on my 550) I now have the stock ASUS Launcher just how I want it
Im still not root but i envy those navigation bars
guess have to get one too hehe
iphone
Now we can easily get iphone looks without any file, in latest ASUS launcher.

Because you have ASUS Apps on your ZenFone 2, not Google Apps.
Nova launcher with glim icon pack
I have all Google app installed I think.
What do you mean by Google App ?
Asus say me to see whith Google but Google says me to see whith ASUS.
Thnaks for your help.
What apps' icons are you talking about? If you mean things like settings, dialer and downloads, then you have ASUS versions instead of Google/AOSP, so the icons are different. Using Google Now launcher won't change those icons.

How To Enable Round Icons like the Google Pixel.

Any idea how to enable round icons on Galaxy S8 like tbe ones on the Pixel? I do not want to use custom launcher. I have installed Pixel Launcher and Pixel launcher icons but still does not give me the round icons for many apps like Youtube, Play Store, Play Music, etc. I hope someone could help me out.
Use nova launcher and a pixel icon pack. Works fine for me
There is no way to have them round.
That being said, samsung did include a frame option in an attempt to make the icons unified as look.
You can find that option in settings - display - icon frames.

I don't believe that there is no way. I have seen before that it's like a one line of code that triggers the use of round icons of the app as long as the app itself supported it. I just can't seem to find that thread now.

New S8 user here - some questions about customizing

Hi guys, I've replaced my iP7 for Galaxy S8 and I'm super happy about it (design, screen, camera) but I have some questions about that Theme Store Samsung provides.
I know that I can change theme and icons from that store but can I apply icon packs from Google Play? If no, is there any other ways to make this device more stock?
I have already installed modded Pixel Launcher, some wallpapers, overlay for a navigation bar, Gboard and downloaded an app from Play Store called Material Notification Shade to make it look like Oreo (which does really well and doesn't lag or anything, thanks developer!).
Thanks in advance!

Of course you can, but if you install nova launcher you can even change each icon individually if you want.
