Mine recognized my 5GHz band immediately. I didn't have to change anything. I'm connected to it right now.

I've got the SM-P600 in the U.S.

check your 5GHz channel. if it's limited to EU standard then it won't see the higher bands. set it to 36,40,48 (or whatever they are, lol) and not the 100's.

edit: I changed the settings to europe, then selected 36 band and voila, its working
great solution buddy....thanks a ton

Gt-i9500 vs Gt-i9505 frequencies

Can anyone verify the difference in frequencies that each phone is capable of? I am here in the USA on AT&T and last year bought a GT-I9305 and found out I could not get high speed 3G coverage. So I bought a GT-I9300 and everything works fine. Out of all the frequencies I needed 1900mhz for HSPA 3G. I am suspecting these models to be similar.
If you dial this code number *#197328640# into your phone dial pad you can get to a hidden service menu. (note: use the lower left button to go back each time you select something, otherwise you have to dial the whole number again.)
On my International SGS3 (GT-i9300) I can go in here and select different data frequencies (I leave mine on Auto) by going to Debug Screen-> Phone Control-> Network Control-> Band Selection-> then when you select one of the options, there with be a * next to each frequency that the phone is capable of. Just looking to see which version has what frequencies. Thanks!
** Thanks, this is a code to get into the menu that tells you what you are on, then you can use the lower left button and select back to get back to Phone Control-> Network Control-> Band Selection->:

You might want to fix your title/subject.
LOL, thanks, I think when I posted it I did it from my phone and it auto-filled the word. Thanks!
I am thinking the Gt-i9500 will be the one I'll want for USA and AT&T. I just wanted to confirm ahead of time this. I learned the hard way on the 9300 vs 9305.
Tried the code twice on my i9500... no dice.
I am curious as well, moving to ATT, and while they say the 32GB GS4 is coming soon, I don't know what soon is.
If you look at both phones, they both support the same freqs. I'm on H+ with my i9500, same sort of speed and signal as I got with my international Xperia Z, SGS3, SGS2.. etc.

Hi guys, I'm running a GT-i9500 on Bell mobility in Canada which uses same bands as AT&T. It is set to WCDMA 1900 Band 2, but the phone reverts to 3G at rest and goes up to H+ as soon as anything that requires data is launched. Is this normal behavior? I get great HSPA+ speeds too!

Search for LTE on the Nexus 4 board, there is a whole thread dedicated to this. Out of the box, the Nexus 4 will not run on 4G, but there are modded "hybrid" radios which will allow you to use 4G. Again, search and you will find
You´ll need to flash the hybrid radio I mentioned there - if you're new to all this, read the threads very carefully, and follow the required steps as described, and you'll be fine.
I did and found things but nothing about the frequency available
My friend.... Those are GHz...... Read in wiki 4g bands

Which wiki? Nexus 4 does not support 4G out of the box, you need to use hybrid radio.
You need a provider who uses channel 4 as that's the only one in nexus 4. You don't state your country or provider so how can we help?
If you are in the UK bad luck. USA, you may be lucky

Mate 7 TL10 only getting HSPA with TMobile

I decided to order the Chinese TL10 version of the phone and im only able to get 3g HSPA on the t-mobile network. One thing i must say though is that even though it says HSPA, i am still getting 4G comparable speeds when im using it and it hasnt disappointed in connectivity. This phone is freakn fast so im anxious to see how much faster it'll get on 4G. Can you guys point me in the right direction?
If you are based in USA, specially T-Mobile use FDD B4, aka AWS, and the Chinese version does not support it.
Good news you receive HSPA+.

Even though the Ascend Mate 7 is available primarily outside of North America, this unit was still able to connect to LTE networks on T-Mobile and AT&T. It does struggle with maintaining the connection from time to time, but the mobile network experience has been reliable for the most part. Call quality is also good, with calls coming in quite clear at both ends of the line.

Once we have the international version rom for the TL10, we should be able to flash it and open up all the other bands in the radio, that are enabled in the tl09

The Chinese MT7-TL10 comes with both WCDMA and TD-CDMA. For some models that come with TD-CDMA only, there is no way to have CDMA, for instance, P7-L05.

Settings > All settings > Dual SIM settings > Mobile networks > Access Point Names - make sure your APN is correct, you should be able to Google the correct settings.
By the way, EE is about twice the speed of 3...
I had issues with Three when I was just in the UK. I was getting LTE however the signal was weak and barely worked. My O2 and EE cards worked fine though and stayed connected. I double checked the apn and they were correct, I'm thinking that Three's service is just horrid.
Are you sure you got the European Version?
The US phone only has 1 of Three's LTE bands

Not sure where you're getting that info from, but the US version has the LTE bands that Three uses, which is bands 3 (1800) and 20 (800). I was also checking the bands using LTE discovery while I was in the UK with the US version and it was hitting the bands just fine. O2 works using the same bands and my service was great.

I'm on Axon 7 US, LTE is working fine on Three UK.
It might be my imagination but I think I even have one more bar on my LTE connection than on my old phone (Moto X Style) at the same location.
The only issue I have with it is for some reason it says 4G on the navigation bar when it's a HSPA+ connection. And when it's actually 4G it says 4G LTE. :/

The US version has different bands than the EU version.
4g is not ok on this phone with three.
Note 5 -83db on 3g 25mb/s speed test
Axon 7 - -97 to -110db 5mb/s speed test
note 5 -109db LTE 64.6mb/s speed test
Axon 7 no data as never connects to 4g for more than 2 seconds
However on vodafone both phones signals seem the same but three there is no contest the axon 7 is nearly unusable i have regular drop outs, full signal loss, having to put into flight mode out of flight mode to get a web page to load. I will be sending this phone back for a dual sim note 7 believe it or not a phone needs signal first, features second this "phone" got it the wrong way round shame really because if the signal was good this phone would annihilate the note 5 or note 7.

IN2020 denotes the region which in this case means it is made for the Chinese market. You may find certain bands are missing so may not work correctly on some carriers.

That's not actually 5G I'm sure, use cell mapper and see if it says LTE+NR or just LTE, If it doesn't show +NR, you're getting a false 5G flag that is reporting a 5G capable tower but you aren't actually connecting to 5G.
See the screenshots below for comparison:

Along with the differences, can anyone on TMobile confirm this model works with dual Sims? Wanted to get it on eBay but US versions arent active yet, so need international version as long as 5g works on dual SIM.

OnePlus 8 Pro IN2020 China model support only n41 5G band used in USA. I try list all supported combos used in TMUS: https://cacombos.com/device?model=IN2020&combolist=america_tmus_plmns . This model example doesn't support widely used n71 low band 5G.

T-Mobile is using the upper later indicator (a cell site that supports NR ENDC capability) to show the 5G signal icon in your status bar, not actual NR connectivity. So when you see the 5G indicator, it just means you're connected to a site and band that supports aggregating LTE+NR (ENDC), not that you're necessarily connected to NR.
So even if your phone does not support any T-Mobile 5G NR bands, it will still show 5G in the status bar if the cell site you're connected to supports aggregating LTE and NR together. T-Mobile even has cell sites broadcasting the upper later indicator with no 5G NR signal nearby, so even phones with T-Mobile NR bands will show the 5G icon a lot of the time without an actual NR signal.
The IN2020 does not support T-Mobile N71 NR.
