Been asked many times before.
I believe they are hard coded into the launcher app.

My question is I downloaded this great little app Fede's Music App but it has it just has the default Android icon. And its the only thing bugging me about the app. It's not my own app but I would like to know if I could change the icon for just that app...
Thanks in advanced for anyone that helps me out or for just taking you're time to read this

Gif supported gallery app

Was on stock went to aokp and just realised that gif support is broken, so my question is: is it possible to port over the stock gallery app (which I doubt) or is there a replacement app out there which supports it. I have already tried fun gallery and ics gallery from the app store, no luck on either of them.

AOKP menu button in tablet ui

I am running the latest AOKP in tablet UI mode and hate the menu button. I am wondering if there is a way to change to the three dots.

Should be able to swap it for what you want in the systemui/res/drawable-hdpi folder I would imagine.

Use a file manager, of course. How else?

Wallpaper maker

Is there a wallpaper maker app so that I can use my own pictures as wallpaper. I only use one page on my home screen so I need my whole picture to show on the home screen. But when I go to set it it always crops the image.

My all-time favorite is Wallpaper Wizardry. In the Play Store. Let's you do pretty much anything you want.
Free app, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.twistedapps.wallpaperwizardrii.

Feel free to hit my Thanks button.
Looks good. Play with the settings. You might try stretch or something to get 100% of the image. Or if you are happy with it, leave it. Glad I could help.
That looks good, good app to have. May come in handy, thanks.

Installed this so big thanks to gnotelover, but one question.. How can I add more homescreens?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
Select an app or widget, and then move it to the right of the home screen and keep going. A new screen will appear.

Thanks, been trying that and it doesn't work, nothing happens...

You need to move the icon to the edge of the screen to the right, hold it there for a little. It should automatically take you to a new screen.
Thanks guys, human error... I was trying to do it with a widget, but it works with an app, not a widget..

Is this Google Now Launcher the same as the 0.10.1.920880?
Or what is the version number for this new one?

Thanks Jhall8. Do you also happen to know how to stretch wallpapers too? I can't get any wallpaper to fill up the screen even very large high def images.

Thanks again. I've tried that already but didn't bode well with my favorite walls. Tried clearing data in Google search got rid of the black bar on the right of the wallpaper but stretched way too much. Oh well.
Can anyone confirm whether the latest version of Google Search and/or the latest Google Now launcher goes back to the 6 x6 grid that Google search version 3.1.8920880.arm had? Every time I tried updating to new Search version it cuts off one of the columns which throws my whole homescreen setup and wigets off. I think the updates cut it to only 5 columns
