Questions on rooting the note 2

1. Is there currently a way to root the phone?
2. Is there a way to unroot the phone? I only want to make a few changes and th remove root access.

Dark themed secphone for Stock MDL

I've looked all over this place in hope that there's a dark themed phone app for MDL if there is can someone please point me in the direction?

You can post a request in the Theme section of the forum.
The closest I found is this theme: Black Chrome. It's not exactly what you were looking for, but maybe if you ask the developer of the theme, he or she could help you out.
