hello guys I have such a problem with my xperia z1 actualize it with flashtool and now the phone is on but black screen with the screen by pressing the volume up sounds too but the screen shows nothing as if left on standby in advance appreciate thank you a lot your help

open the sim cover
you will find a red button
press on it untill your phone switch off
I had the same issue after setting it to auto brightness! Try manually setting the brightness and make sure that optimised backlight is on in the display settings. Ive been told that this is fixed in the latest firmware but i'm still rocking the stock 14.1.G.1.534

do u mean to say that once ur HD enters sleep it does not come out of it
or
that its screen is black always..??

maybe i need install software
by the way my mobile now screen light OK put didn't put Sim card or switch off because if i do that will came again black screen
as far as i experience..on htc...devices.
it is normal for screen to turn "black"...think ..power saving... battery drain..etc..etc, if light stays on ?
you could try and use " hd tweak " and set it not to turn light of etc.
.....or what i did was ...i installed " touch in call" cab by xda member " steve pritchard " available here on xda ....(and all related problem solved..!)

Hello I have a problem when switching on the phone only vibrates X2 and not run. Remains a black screen and logo will be konec.Navod and the SEUS software to play taktez.Pri not hold to on and the volume keys and the screen pops tel.zcerna logo SE.Nevi anyone here that does not help remove the backup flashlight. After official KK update when I leave my phone with unlock screen it fade down, and instead turning off it stay fade down.
When double tap it, or press power screen turn off.
I'm thinking its some kind of software setting - but can't find any.
I have 15sec till screen turn off but it fade after 11 seconds and stay that way. I tried cover sensors with hand but same thing.
Im on stock KK, D802.
Display > Auto off, bright 60%, Screen Saver 15sec, Screen saver: fade, auto rotate: on, dream settings: off, smart screen: off, smart video: off, led: on
When i turn off screen saver it dosn't fade.
When I change screen saver effect it just fade, so it looks like screen saver is broken in KK ?

I have the same problem on stock 4.2.2 D80210b-HKG-XX.
But I can fix it on a time when reboot a phone.

first few reboots didn't help. Now it self fix'd.

i have a serious problem, which happens really often lately. like 10 times a day. The screen just turns off sometimes. The touch-functionality is still working. I can feel the fingersensor "unlock" the Zuk Z1, but the screen just stays off. Then i try to press all the buttons and sometimes the screen turns on again. But sometimes it just turns on after some seconds even though I didn't touch it at all.
First I thought that this is a hardware issue, maybe a loose contact. But recently a new problem showed up. The screen brightness just goes up to 100%. I turned off auto-brightness and move the slider. Nothing happens. Restarting always fixes it. But mostly after 1-60 seconds it goes back to normal.
Any ideas what might be the problem? Or what I could try?
I haven't rooted the phone and its the newest CyOS version.

Perhaps you are using the flipcover with magnetic auto switch off when you close the case?

I havent thought of that before but it is not the cause of the problem.
1. I have a leather case
2. When I take the phone out of the case the displays stays dark
I just did a factory reset today in the morning and the problem already showed up again. So! annoying!!!! Will send back the device I guess
i have lenovo zuk z1 . actually i am getting a problem in this phone . after locking the phone at every seconds light turn on and get turn off on the display. i saw so much on the setting but i didnt get any setting .
The same problem is being arrising with me..please someone help. what should i do..

my mothers moto c plus screen is going black during phone calls, but when removed from ear screen wont turn on until i press the power button. Any chance to change this or is it normal for this phone you have to manually turn on screen to hit the software button to end a phone call?

Bro moto c plus don't have proximity sensor so it can't be auto on off lcd while bringing it to the ear so try to increase the screen display time..
I fixed it by turning on some option in call settings- dunno what it was right now, but thx for the hint
