[Q] Simultaneous data and voice on T-mobile with Nexus 4

I think it should support simultaneous on t-mobile, just confirming... iPhone5 on Verizon can't do that, right?

Yes it will. The iPhone on Verizon not being able to do it is a limitation of the CDMA network

This is not an issue with GSM devices.

Speed test on AT&T network - T-Mobile (unlocked) V AT&T Note 3

I have the t mob version and it seems to work fine on attending but I would be interested to know if anyone has done a side by side test with an att version to see if they really do get same speed, same signal etc.
While devices are supposed to be the same, is it possible that the radio software may not be, I. E. specifically for the AT&T or the mobile network?
On my other AT&T devices the radios were updated from time to time by AT&T which is why I ask.
Anyone?
Update: I ran speed test on my T-Mobile note 3 on att versus an att Galaxy s4 a number of times. Download speed was about 50 per cent faster on the Note but Upload speed was consistently about 30 per cent of the s4. Anyone know why?

I've run speed test on my S4 (AT&T) and Note 3 (T Mobile) and they are consistently the same on AT&T LTE.

Sorry for sounding dumb. What do you mean radios were updated? Perhaps being a t mobile note 3 user on AT&T one would need to insert an active t mobile sim in for updates ?

AT&T doesn't prioritize any device, just so you all know. If that was the case, you'd all be seeing 1mbps for LTE. I used an unbranded/International Galaxy S3 on AT&T and I got the same HSPA+ speeds as my AT&T S3. The phone will just show up as an unknown device.

I have both an ATT and a T-Mobile Note 3, and the speeds are essentially the same with the same sim card.

You sound like a 1 percenter. Why you hogging all the Notes for yourself? Can't the little guy even have a Note?

N9005 not getting LTE on T-mobile

I searched everywhere and still haven't found any solutions yet. I have the Galaxy Note 3 N9005 model. I used to get T-mobiles LTE signals when I had my HTC One but since getting my Note 3 I no longer get LTE. I only get H and H+ speeds. I checked the settings and LTE is enabled but still no LTE is showing on the status bar.

I had that i took the sim out and that done it

Antenna Problems

Is it just my Note 3,or has anyone else noticed a really crappy antenna?
Most places, where I have no service with the Note 3, I do have service with the Note 2 and BlackBerry Q10.
Also, on the Note 3 I have never seen "4G" in the status bar above only "H+", while on my Note 10.1 2014 I see it everywhere. Yes, I have the network set to LTE.
Would appreciate your input. Thanks!

I have this problem if I don't use a Samsung cover. The other brand cases seem to cause bad reception on my phone.

No such issue here.
The new update did seem to reduce the signal strength, 50% 4G where I first had 90%, but on the other hand T-Mobile is also still installing 4G and it hadn't been officially launched yet, (which they're doing today) so that could also have been the case.

[Q] VZW Note 3 Flash to Straight Talk 4G?

I am done with Big RED!!!
Is it known if a Straight talk SIM will work on the VZW Note 3"?
Or can it be flashed to Straight Talk?
I love my note 3, but hate VZW prices.....:silly:
(t-mobile and AT&T unreliable signal in my area)

I did try my wifes straight talk sim in mine and worked just added the correct apn for data and all was good
