please help me. my s4 i9050 can't access 3G . i can use only 2G . when i set wcdma only, it has not signal . i see many people have this problem, but have not any solution . all boss in this forum can not give a answer for this problem ? sorry for my bad english

Just as the thread title says I would like to know if there is anyway to switch between 2g to 3g without disconnecting 3G ..my old LG optimus Droid can do that but ,In the note a pop-up error appears and 2g disconnects and 3g connects after sometime ..
It would be great if someone could help Me put and enlighten me ..I'm really in need of this sstuff. (Don't ask me why,it helps improve my 2g speed and Theron which only Indians will know(its a free 3g trick) )
P.s ..I know GSM wcdma auto mode does something similar but is highly unstable and keeps switching between 2g n 3g..

There's no way to change from 3G connection type from 2G but I need it because 3G use too many battery...
someone know how to change it?
I didn't found any Jellyblast 2G to 3G on search.

Check it in settings >>wireless and networks>>mobile networks >>network mode.
Check gsm only.. And u will be on 2g network.

I have a problem with my i9505 .
I have no gsm signal.
When i choose "GSM only" it says "emergency calls only" , thus in the areas without 3g , my fathers old brick is better than my s4.
If i chose "WCDMA only" it works in the areas with 3g .
If i choose "WCDMA/GSM" if the 3g signal is weak , it search for 2g... doesn't find so i get again "emergency calls only"
If i choose "LTE/ WCDMA / GSM" and i try to call somebody it brings up the calling screen but nothing happens until i get " line busy "
I tried a lot of different modems with no luck , my google skills failed me too ... so here i am .
Any sugestions ?
PS. No waranty here. So " send it to samsung " is not what i'm looking for .

hello to all friends and great android masters. i am form pakistan i have a really annoying problem with my S5 it is g900s SK TELECOM korean variant. i bought it second hand. every thing is working great but it cant connect to 3g network its always connects with GPRS and shows G indicator in status bar. internet speed is really very slow on GPRS. here in pakistan the services providers provide 3G at frequency of 2100. so i think this phone is not compatible with this frequency ( correct me if i am wrong). if so than please please tell me is there any solution available for this problem????? can i fix it? can i force my phone to connect with this frequency??? any other solution please i am really upset please help me friends. i also tried to install custom rom but its still the same. when i select WCDMA in settings it drops the signals. i am a poor guy i can not aford another phone so please guys i request u to tell me a solution if there is one available:crying:
