This is how to enable USB Debugging - AT&T Galaxy Note 3 General

I've been trying to find how to do this and it took me awhile so I decided to start a thread to help others who may need to enter "Developer Mode" on the Note Tres to enable USB-Debugging for instance.
Here is how:
Step 1: Go to your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 “Application” icon and Open “Setting Option”:
Step 2: In the upper right corner of your phone screen, select “General” icon And Go on “About Device” option
Step 3: Scroll down and tap Build Number several times and you see a message that says “Developer mode has been enabled“. The phone will tell you how many times are left to enter the dev-mode
Step 4: Return to the “Phone Setting”, you will see “Developer Options”
Step 5: Check the USB debugging box under Developer options and you see a message that says “Allow USB Debugging”
Step 6: VOILA!! You are ready to use your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in debugging mode.

Nexus 4 not showing up in my computer as MTP Storage

Hi Guiz, So you all probably have heard this a million times but i have tried every i can to fix this. I have tried many options such as Deleting and re-installing the drivers, trying a different usb port 2.0 and 3.0 I have restored my phone. And my phone only comes up as PTP Camera which is useless since i cant root my N4. This problem occured after i updated to Android 4.3. So my question is how can i make my N4 show up as MTP Storage?
I'm running on Windows 8. Thanks in advance.

1 quick Forum search would easily have solved this for you.
But since you're here:
1. Enable USB debugging: Go to phone settings -> About -> Tap build number repeatedly until developer menu is enabled. Go there and tick USB debugging.
2. On your PC, go to your device manager (when the Phone is plugged in and set to MTP), locate the phone, right click on it -> properties
3. go to the Driver tab
4. click Update Driver
5. click Browse my Computer for driver software
6. click Let my pick...
7. select USB Composite Device
8. finish up with the assistant
9. be happy

Today i've got my new Nexus 4, succesfully unlocked & rooted with this toolkit, but had problems with installing google usb drivers and Universal Adb Driver.
The solution is based on several steps.
I solved my problem this way, hope it will help someone
I have windows 8.1 64-bit, so i had to solve firts the problem with driver signature
1.
How To Disable And Bypass Driver Signature Enforcement In Windows 8

If you have problems with driver installations, try this:
2.
Remove hidden existing Nexus 4 or Android Nexus ADB Interface in Device Manager
i had to cleanup the drivers remained after few failed adb driver installations because of the problem in the first step
- (OPTIONAL) Install Nexus Root Toolkit and run it
- (OPTIONAL) click on Full Driver Installation Guide and at step 1
- open Device Manager, click View and select the option Show hidden devices
- now you will see some additional hidden devices (greyed out)
- because i wanted to install the drivers from start i deleted them, that means uninstalled them and added checkmark for deleting local files
- screenshot is attached so you can better understand
Remove the devices that could make problems
3.
- Run Nexus Root Toolkit
- click on Full Driver Installation Guide
- at Step 1 open USBDeview
- in my situation i deleted all the entries with google name
- screenshot in the attach
Final step:
4.
Install drivers for Nexus 4
- Run Nexus Root Toolkit
- click on Full Driver Installation Guide
- at Step 2 i installed Solution #1 - Universal drivers
- maybe you'll need to manually add drivers, if you have an entry in Device Manager that as yellow !
- right click on it - update drivers - browse my computer for drivers - I've added the path to installed Solution #1 - Universal drivers
"C:\Program Files (x86)\ClockworkMod\Universal Adb Driver"
- i repeated it for connection as mtp, ptp and none of that - selection for this is made on nexus: settings - storage - ... in the right upper corner - usb computer connection. so this way the device had installed the needed drivers
- screenshot is added in attach
I've used Wugs Toolkit for installing drivers and after that unlocking and rooting the Nexus 4.
My problem was that there was present HIDDEN ADB Interface under Android Device, after above mentioned steps, my nexus is working properly when connected as MTP device

device not showing up in debug monitor

I have my sg4 plugged into my laptop, but it is not showing up in the android debug monitor. I ran it as administrator, and the device does show up in my computer.
Do you have debugging enabled in Developer options? Make sure you have the right drivers installed otherwise you may need a reboot on both devices
I have the Nexus 7 drivers installed, and the adb interface.
and I do have debugging enabled.
I think that you need the Samsung drivers. The Nexus 7 drivers are different ones. So download them here: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads
They should also be installed if you install Kies.

There is a well-hidden menu that you may need to access.
Assuming you have developer mode enabled...
- Go to Settings, then Storage
- Click on the menu (top right)
- Select USB computer connection
You'll see 2 boxes:
- Tick 'media device'
I found that if neither box was ticked, I couldn't see my device...
Maybe the first time the dialog says "Allow this computer debugging" appears, you clicked NO.
Try go to Developer options and click "Revoke USB debugging authorizations", and reconnect the device.

Root toolkit 1.8.1 , stuck at configuring "MTP drivers".

Hi, I am having problems with rooting, and any help will be greatly appreciated.
Problem: No ADB connection.
Here are the steops i am stuck in:
Step 2.2 and step 2.3.
2.) Plug your device in via USB.
- Wait a few minutes to see if your computer auto-configures MTP.
This was done by windows.
3.) Disable MTP mode:
- Settings > Storage > Menu item in upper right > 'USB computer connection' > Uncheck MTP.
- Wait a few minutes to see if your computer auto-configures MTP.
Nothing happened.
Going on with the installation(2.4-2.6) even with this not done, i found that i managed to see the nexus device , and that it installs a driver after turning USB debugging on.
However, continuing on with step 3, i can't install the Android ADB interface drivers.
Thanks for your time.
Lee
Step 2 is listed below for reference.
Step 2: Configuring your MTP drivers
- This step is to ensure you can access the files on your devices sdcard through windows explorer via USB.
1.) Disable USB debugging:
- Setttings > Developer Options > uncheck 'USB Debugging'.
2.) Plug your device in via USB.
- Wait a few minutes to see if your computer auto-configures MTP.
3.) Disable MTP mode:
- Settings > Storage > Menu item in upper right > 'USB computer connection' > Uncheck MTP.
- Wait a few minutes to see if your computer auto-configures MTP.
4.) Re-enable MTP mode:
- Settings > Storage > Menu item in upper right > 'USB computer connection' > Check MTP.
5.) Re-enable USB debugging:
- Setttings > Developer Options > Check 'USB Debugging'.
6.) Check to see if you can access your devices internal storage through explorer using the button below.
- 'Launch Explorer' > 'My Computer' > 'Devices' > Your Nexus device.
7.) Proceed to Step 3.

[LG G3] This is how to enable DIAG MODE [Marshmellow]

For those who have android 6.0 on G3 and wanted to enable diag for whatever reason like...idk... changing, adding, removing GSM/LTE bands.. where is how.. quick and easy.
1. Download LG United Mobile Driver or LG Mobile Driver. (I don't think it matters.
2. Install it.
3. Go to Device Manager on your Windows Machine.
3. Physically Connect your phone to the computer and set it to CHARGE ONLY (This is necessary).
4. , Then Go to your phone Dialer PAD and type in the code: *#546368#*855# (Replace 855 with the LG G3 model Number - 855 is the international model)
- It should automatically launch you to the hidden Menu.
5. Navigate to USB > PORT CHECK TEST. (Not sure if this is necessary at all...but won't hurt to enable it anyway.. you may skip this or not..it depends..idk)
- Enable it
6. Then Navigate back to USB > QMICMSet
- Click 'OK'. ( Immediately you should see TWO Notifications Display: "LGE Android Phone" Under "Other Devices" with a yellow exclamation.
7. Right Click the SECOND ONE. (Again Not the first one, but the second "LGE Android Phone" Display.
8. Click on "Update Driver Software" > "Browse My Computer for Driver Software" > "Let Me pick From a List of Device Drivers on my computer" >
9. Make sure "Show All Device" is highlighted, then click next. It takes some couple of seconds while to collect all the lists.
- Navigate to "LGE Electronics, Inc" under "Manufacturer" (There are like 4 to 5 of them)
- Then click on the third one.. On the right look for "LGE AndroidNet for Diagnostics Port". - Note: I found mine at the third "LGE Electronics, inc" list...so just keep clicking on them all until you find it.
10. Then Click on it, and it should install the software. Voila.. you should be done and connected.. I have screenshots below..
LEt me know if you encounter any problems.. Cheers!
