Can a Google play purchased N4 get black listed?
If so will it be on att and tmobile only or all gsm carriers?
And even if it did get blacklisted I can just get another motherboard and use that?

If I remember correctly, att and tmobile share the same database for blacklisting. Anyway, if it has a bad imei, it won't work in the usa, for all carriers.

It has a good imei I checked it and its unlocked.
If I buy it and the seller decides to report it stolen, can it still be used? The user said he has tmo on it, but bought the phone from Google. I'm on att, am I out of luck?
I don't plan on using it on att, its going to be used on Straight Talk

Well I got the N4 so far its working great. Old user had T-Mo on it but clearly said he bought it from Google.
Afaik its working great got Slim running on it.

no idea but i think it would too much work for Google to do that and I highly doubt they would bother with it. Just pray the person doesnt report it. If so, be ready to move to another country to make it work .

The one the has a big "X" or the S-Curve ones are ok. I've used them on all of my phone I bought this year. I use them until something better comes out.

It's the N7100. All of his answers to questions made it fairly clear. No LTE with this bad boy. Also no LTE in the states with the N7105 model either.

i have a new Nexus4 coming. I also ordered a Micro Sim activation card kit from Tmobile. I do have access to a Tmobile Prepaid phone also if need be.

As far as I know, their is no restriction on devices with this plan. So you should be fine with the Nexus 4. AT&T would be another story.

Just activate the SIM with the Nexus 4 and when you have to pick a plan, just choose the 30 dollar one on the website. No voodoo or black magic needed, T-Mobile doesn't care if you use this plan with your Nexus.

You don't need to print anything. Just make the claim with the info it asks and they send you a phone. What did it ask you to print or fax? It probably said you can print the invoice for a receipt if you choose to, but you don't have to.

Assurion is not stupid, they are an insurance company that has people that specialize in that stuff, just like all insurance companies they deal with fraud and illegal claims quite often. , it's not a good idea. As far as I know his phone really got stolen. But I know someone who did that on Verizon he had the IPhone 5 sold it then got a new one nd has money even after getting a new iPhone 5. They sent him a never used and Unopened iPhone 5. How would they even know always?

I must have filed my claims too late at night then, because mine always take at least a whole day or two. Also the only time I filed a claim for a stolen phone I had to get a police report and send it to them, but that was over 10 years ago.

That won't happen. I used to work at Sprint and it will say flagged for lost or stolen and cannot be activated but they can't take any phone... sadly I saw it a lot

He has 360$ equipment loan fee still plus he his bill is $373 and he got three Note 2 replacements from t mobile and a iPhone 5 and didn't send them back and he isn't going to pay his bill what could happen?. I told him he's going to really mess up his credit. What could happened from what he's doing? He got a bunch of messages from t mobile saying he has to pay up to $850 if he doesn't send the phone back what's going to happen?

Credit report and legal action. Refusing to return devices not fully paid is considered theft if said company request return.

You may have to dispute the block with the original carrier that added it to the block list. They may have flagged the phone as lost or stolen, and while it may work on another carrier, it may catch up and get blocked there as well.

Well then your SOL. What you are trying to do is illegal and you will have to deal with it. Carriers are starting to share the Blocked IMEIs so even if you switch carriers you may still not be able to do it.
As stated, pay off your legal contract and they will unblock it.

Really effective thing, to unlock you have to open the app, press menu, press Relock Phone and press Ok/Yes.
Of course you cannot unlock it yet until you fully paid it off so wait until that's done.
