Okay, this is a new battery that I got after my original battery was swollen.
I think this battery is fake due to many reasons. Sometimes it automatically charge itself and battery percentage increases to 5-10%.
It lasts very less and etc etc.
When I type *#0228# on dialpad I get this:

Mine looks like the fake one as well
Try NFC. This feature doesn't work on many fakes.

my sister has bought the samsung s4 and after 2 to 3 months of using normally with no problem, the phone now suddenly goes rebooting and the battery becomes 0% after it was (befor the sudden reboot) 60% or 80%.
and then she has to charge it from the beginning

this isn't sudden death.
It's a faulty battery.
Take it out of the phone, is it swollen in the middle??

This is a known fault and Samsung have already said they would replace battery for free.
Give them a call and tell them.
I think the serial number on the bad batch of batteries starts with BD but it might not be limited to those.

Does NFC work with your new battery?
Fake batteries usually don't have an NFC antenna, therefore NFC may not work of it is fake.

I don't know. Maybe 1 year.
If the battery is fake, as mentioned there will be no NFC antenna. The only way to be certain is to peel back the label and look for the antenna. A fake will also not last as long between charges and will fail a lot sooner. As mentioned, you may get a year if lucky.

The pictures you have uploaded just show estimated value, your battery life can be way more than 16 hrs ... it depends on how fast do you discharge your phone .. for example if you dont use your phone much you can get 3 days of battery life ... and when you charge it to 100% after those 3 days it will show higher value of the hours remaining...

What build number are you on?
Are you having any issues with battery life? (Random jumps in percentage, decreasing battery life, etc.)

That's really odd. Are the odd parts where you were expecting it to charge? If so, something might be wrong with the charger, or it might have had a bad connection. It looks like it kept jumping all over the place. Either that or something bugged out. Other than that, I have no idea.

Yeah i expected it to charge... Haven't had problems with the charger before.
Guess I'll just try a different charger and get it to 100% hopefully that will clear out the history and I'll go from there.

I found a replacement battery on eBay for under $20 but it ships from China

I replaced my battery, it's not hard but you need a heat gun to remove the screen. Then use double sided 3m tape to put it back on

Works about as well as regular battery. Atleast phone doesn't shut down with 30% remaining.
