Most of the TW base ROMs are about the same. I've used Omega + persues from day one and got great battery life.. (6hrs+ screen time with like 30hrs standbye). Onto CM 10.2 now tho.
Also--- this should be moved to S4 General I believe.....

arrow is aosp themed, is very beautifil, until camera is fixed in cm 10.2 a'm using this.
I think you should try arrow rom or crash rom. They are great, smooth and the battery is great.
But i think wanam 1.8 has the battery best. I can use 2 days with 4 hour on screen. But wanam 1.8 is the old ver.

Bes rom/kernel threads are not allowed here on XDA, as they become grounds for subjective debates on people's opinion.

Most stable 4.3 rom with volume music skip control?

Looking for a stable 4.3 rom. Currently running CM10.2 and there are too many bugs right now.. Have to reboot too often..
So what do you guys recommend? Only feature I really want is track skip with volume buttons..
Thanks.
Ohh and if it's not too much to ask could you link me to the rom.. I'm at work and not really supposed to be playing with my phone right now.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
You could actually go for any Stock Rooted JWR 4.3 firmware. Install xposed module on top it and Gravitybox. Voila.

Paranoid Android is pretty stable. Loved it with AK kernel and their LCD presets.
Currently flashing CM 10.2 Nightly (latest). They are very stable. Only issue is that you need to flash every day or couple of days to be updated
Thanks guys.. Going to try stock with the add on

[Q] Best Rom/Kernel Combination?

Any suggestions to the best combination of rom and kernel?
My signature and default samsung kernel
Nice
I've always wanted to try that one, but im stuck with Foxhound 1.2 because of the theme, i really like the dark theme, makes it look more premium
I'll be waiting for D3NnNy to upload the theme only so that I can try other ROMs.
Latest Echoe rom and Lean Kernel for me
X-Note + Faux for me...

Other than PA and Carbon, most big rom teams like CM and Slim have already released 4.4.2 builds. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention AOKP in the first part, but they seemed to have been MIA for the past couple of months

Nope.
Stock/stock. Only rooted. After trying ARHD, InsertCoin, Elegancia and GPE, I returned (with relief) to pure stock Sense 4.3.
GPE stock rom with elementalx kernel and using art
It is pretty damn fast and smooth.
