[Q] Install Firefox OS with Multirom on N7? - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
I've installed Ubuntu and TWRP with Multirom through this instruction: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2011403
All works perfectly fine! But now my question is this one: Is there a way to install Firefox OS with Multirom? I've seen an instruction for installing it with CWM on an other forum but I don't want to reflash my device, because the old saw says "Never touch a running system!"
Ty for all your answers

Hey. Yes I found someone who tried it in N7 here is the youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=losW4U4GI1w .
and here is a forum thread here in xda developer http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2479192 .
My problem is how to install this using multiROM. I am about to ask it in the above thread but I can't post there because I'm just new in the xda developer forum :crying: .
I actually tried installing it in multiROM like any other any other android ROM but somehow it fails in the middle of the installation. If anyone has an instruction on how to do this is greatly appreciated.

Got the sucker to compile. It ain't easy as 1-2-3.
Got it to boot, and it boots way faster than android. UI is slowish, fonts are tearing apart and I can't make a phone call or connect to a wifi.
But it works!
If OP want's me to tell him how I got it to compile please contact me on PM. I really don't have the time to develop this

L preview for Nexus 7

Hi Team,
Can someone please help me to install "L developer preview" which was released only for Nexus 7 2013 model but not for Nexus 7 Wifi (Old) model.
Do we have any images of "L developer preview" for Nexus 7 old model ?

I don't think so. As is a new android version almost everything was changed. We only can get it work when Google release the AOSP source. So we will need to wait a bit longer

You're not in the 2013 forum, I'd go ask there. Recovery will only be replaced if you replace it.

Pretty sure its not an actual port....it has L goodies in it? Maybe I'm wrong.....its a very confusing and poorly laid out thread and OP. Lol
Edit; k, he has stated a lot is broken....the OP kind of makes sense.
Still, its parts of L mixed with Kit Kat. Not really a port still.

Yea an SDK port which is a bit cobbled together as you say, full respect to the devs for even attempting it though. It will be interesting to see if we get a full preview from Google and then an actual full update come October time. [emoji2]

btw: a preview was online for a couple of minutes... I don't think anybody was able to download the whole thing
I respect any work from the devs here for sure! Just a confusing OP and thread is all.

srry if wrong section , looks like this method can work on all android versions ,i will ask the devloper you told me about and see what he would say
There are different ways to do this. ramdisk or in /system . I want to do this for booting twrp on locked devices soon. I just waited because I had the hope unlocking would be possible by patching aboot but that seems to be not so I will start the alternative method.
