AT&T Note 3 Bootloader Bounty Thread - Goal Met!

Hashcode has released Safestrap. Please direct your attention to his post in the development section and please hold true to your pledges that you have made.

Our goal of $1000 has been met. You may continue to add donations to this if you would like, and I will continue to update it! When I receive word that a dev has completed this mission task I will post on this thread.
Mission Statement - To successfully find a way for custom recoveries and ROMs to be installed on the AT&T Galaxy Note 3. Your method must be stable, legal, and does not require hardware mods. The purpose of this bounty is to further development with the AT&T Galaxy Note 3. Your method must also be able to be used freely by the entire XDA community.

I'm not sure if you understand what I meant.
I was talking about starting a list of people who are willing to donate/raise money(kinda like a bounty) for the developers to buy a note 4 to attempt to achieve root/unlock bootloader. Once we reach our goal; which is 2 devices($1400) at the moment, we then spread out and send our donations to their PayPal.

There is only one way to do this correctly. I'll add the missing and add myself to the bottom. copy and paste the message above yours so that the amounts add up. It should be pretty clear, put your name - how much you are donate (the total amount donated with yours added in). Then we'll know how much has been raised.

These types of threads are not allowed on XDA. If you wish to donate to a developer that is your choice and their DONATE TO ME buttons are visible under their profiles. If you wish to make a bounty thread to get a single device for a developer that is well known for obtaining root for a device then that thread will be "tolerated" on XDA with no ties whatsoever to XDA.
These are the guidelines set forth from previous famous developers successfully obtaining these goals:
* The developer MUST know of the thread's existence;
* The OP of the thread CANNOT have access to the funds. I cannot stress how important this is. Money collected and someone else buying the device which suddenly never gets shipped to the donation target is a more common occurrence than it should be on cases like this;
* The developer MUST ACCEPT the challenge being imposed. In other words, making a bounty to get jcase a HTC TWO when he knows well in advanced that he is either not interested or that he may not have the time to do it would simply deprive other devs who might be able to work on the project;
* The thread needs to be traced/tracked so that when the objective is met, no more donations are accepted. In other words, if the device costs $500, once the money is accounted for, all donation links should be removed and/or the thread closed stating that the goal has been reached;
* The OP of the thread MUST be a known member. I had a run in once with HD2OWNER when he was getting money for dcordes and netripper who were working on porting Ubuntu for the HD2. Everything ended up being ok;
* The item being sought after should be related to the goal being attempting to be achieved, but not be overly generic (a good example of a bad bounty would be a computer for a ROM chef);
* Goals and objectives of the donation MUST BE CLEARLY STATED in the OP;
As mentioned, other than that you are advised to donate to your favorite developer for work already received and if he so chooses to put those towards a new device that is up to him.

Actually the bounty thread is still up, the OP just stopped updating the bounties. But if you plan on making a new thread you should update it with the original bounties as well to keep people honest.

[BOUNTY] HTC One M9 AOSP/CM12.1 Camera - $1150 as of 10/23 - ACHIEVED

Selfishly, I cant deal with any more complaints about the AOSP camera not working for the M9 or stupid posts cluttering the Cyanognemod 12.1 dev thread. So...Ive decided to start a bounty thread for development of a functional camera for our beloved M9 for AOSP/CM12.1 ROMS.
I am looking for all features functioning as they do with stock sense, including:
The ability to take and save pictures with rear and front facing cameras
The ability to take and save videos with rear and front facing cameras
The ability to also port and use the Sense camera with this driver hack on AOSP ROMs
Post your pledges in this thread and ill add to this post with your XDA user name and your pledge. If and when the AOSP camera is fixed, the bounty will go to the dev that fixes it. Pledges are made in USD and should be sent by Paypal or other means accepted by the dev.
If you pledge and don't pay, an android goblin will sneak into your home while you sleep and brick your M9 and you will be banned from XDA for all eternity.

Well as I heard it's not a walk in the park to be honest so better be worth it. @bacon612 are you a CM maintainer or can you get in touch with CM team? if this is spread outside the HTC forum I bet we'll get a lot more of devs working on it

Off topic, If there is such a pledge problem as people backing out, why is the pledge not taken by a neutral middle man(approved moderator etc) before any fix is released, if the fix does not work, the list is still there to return exact amount back to the pledging parties.

Of course...I really miss developing ROMs..plus once this phone is unlocked again I'll be keeping it forever as a backup device even after getting the next pixel which will be bought from Google this time lol

I'm rooting for you guys, no pun intended, but I wouldn't hold my breath. If you really want an unlocked Pixel, you should probably list your current phone for sale on Swappa or your local Craigslist, and buy a Google version or Verizon one that has already been unlocked.

It's getting close to the July update...another developer I'm talking to found some vulnerabilities that might lead into a Temp Root...I would turn off automatic updates for the moment as they might be patched...I'll keep you all updated if it leads to something or not
