[App] XBMC Media center for JB 4.2.2 Toshiba Folio 100 - Folio 100 Themes and Apps

Hi!
Ater long searching i found the apk to install XBMC for JB 4.2.2 . I suppose its also works for android 4.0+.
Before installing download MX player free + MX Player Codec (ARMv7) from Google Play.
Run MX Player. Choose Settings , Decoder. Activate S/W audio. Close MX player.
Then install XBMC . The name of the apk is: xbmcapp-armeabi-v7a-debug-2013-03-03-no-neon-xaf-touch-dce2095627b1caf6efc4ea0a937e40f295130409.apk.
Sorry, i am new here, so i can not post links at the moment, but you can found this apk on XDA ( Android Development and Hacking > Android Apps and Games > [APP][2.3+][Weekly Builds] XBMC For Android Nightlies)
Playing video's can have a video delay with HD files (720+), so i use 480 without any problems. I am trying to solve the 720 resolution.
(Thanks to Michael Crosson)
Have Fun!!

[APP] VPlayer Released, supports Divx,Avi,Mkv,rmvb, flv and More.Similar to Rockplayer.

VPlayer is just an alpha version and only support device with neon support and Android 2.x. VPlayer using FFmpeg, can play almost all video formats, Divx/Xvid, real media, flv, mkv.
VPlayer is almost the best video player in performance. i personally tested it , VPlayer acts better than other similar media players in divx, flv, rmvb playback..!!
Even better than Rockplayer..!!
here is the apk file:

Use google and check if your processor supports Neon.
Where can I get the user manual for this? The touch gestures seem to be all touch and go. Unable to clearly see which gesture does what and how to pause the playback.

help

help. i need somebody to help me, im having problem to watch video files or transfe video files
i cant transfer or watch mp4 or avi files on my acer a500
with any custome rom i use, help.. thank you
Download mx player, and install the codec for arm7 tablet.
you need to install a third party media player. the stock media player in android dosent play alot of files(or at least not very well). there are several out there just pick a good free one. most people use moboplayer and it will install the needed codecs when you open it(but last time i tried it ,it didnt work on acer android 3.1 why i dont know) so I use rockplayer light for now. it plays most files with out need for other downloads.
There are tons of media players just go to market and find one that you like and that plays your files.

Video player for kindle fire

I have new kindle fire in original form. I have not rooted it or made any changes. Can i use any video player like VLC or mobo player ?
I tried to download VLC and MX player , but are not working on my kindle.
please let me know any video player to use without rooting my kindle.
thanks in advance for all your help.
MOBO player is the answer
sideloaded it as soon as i got my Fire. Copy videos into whatever folder you want - presumbably "videos" folder, using USB connect to PC
ON you Fire, use File Expert or ES File Explorer to browse to file and play it.
ALSO, if you set up your WiFi and share you media folder on your PC, File Expert can browse to it and play you media files, using MOBO. you may be asked to open file with a browser [i think ES file explorer does that] just click ok and it will open in MOBO
with that and Netflix, i'm using my fire to watch videos all the time!
I tried rockplayer and BSPlayer, they both work fine, but you need to select software rendering, otherwise you can't watch videos.
I'm on stock 6.2.2 and MX Player works fine for me. I also use MoboPlayer.
I have tried MX player, Rockplayer, VLC for Android (alpha) and others I don't even remember now. All of them got freeze while watching mkv files.
Now finally happy with QQPlayer. Available free from market I can run all of my mkv/avi files without any problem.
KF can play 1080p & 720p very smooth no loop with GPU POWERVR SGX540 decoder. You can use stock, mobo, or mx player.
But:
With HW decode, you have to re-encode the video with the following link:

XBMC with the native android videoplayer

Hi Guys,
I have an android mini pc dongle and i want to use it as a mediaplayer.
The native videoplayer of android plays everything flawless, even 3d movies.
Now i want to use XBMC but is lags very much when playing 1080p movies. I have read that it is possible to use XBMC now with external players like MX player. I tried that but it still lags.
My question is if it is possible to combine the android native videoplayer with XBMC. In case it does i think i will solve the 1080p issues.
Hope you can help me
Cheers

Hi..
The issue has nothing to do with the videoplayer lagging. XBMC on android is sh*t at the minute.. Even on PC it's not that good.
Seems the devs are more focused on implementing new features over stability and bug fixing.
And it's been like that for years now. Don't expect much from XBMC on android..
Cheers..
Thx for ur reply!
Which app do you recommend to manage movies on android?

XBMC on android depends on the device you are running.
XBMC runs flawlessly on my Nexus 7, 1080p, 10bit video with no problem.
Have you tried one of the builds from XBMCAndroid.com?
They have several builds available and one that is targeted to set top/USB android devices.

Hi, Yes i tried several versions. Also with the mx player but even with the mx player it still lags a bit.
The best solution would be the native android videoplayer with XBMC.
The device i use is a android mini pc cx803

[Q] H265 ?

Has anyone had any luck in playing H265 on their Nexus Player?
I am using the stock ROM with KODI 14.2rc and H265 content is unwatchable. I thought I'd ask around here before trying the Lollipop ROM and other versions of KODI in case this was a known issue.
is it the x86 build of kodi? because only the x86 build will play h.265/hevc., the arm build just can't (the same goes for h.264). oh - and you'll need to be using software decoding, not hardware decoding.
i've been able to play hevc completely fine on my np. i'm running 14.1 x86 stable.
Few media players online can afford H.265 directly. You'd better encode H.265 into H.264 mp4 first so that you can play the videos.
Works for me
I just tried an H.265 video on my stock NP today using Kodi Isengard (15.2). Worked great!
MX Player works. I recommend you google to download the all in one codec zip file to use with it.
