Verizon motorola droid pro xt610 cdma custom rom for USA tmobile?..... - Droid Pro General

With a Verizon motorola droid pro xt610 cdma is there a custom rom to install/flash so that it will be unlocked to work here in USA on tmobile sim?
As I understand it, this Verizon phone it is possible to unlock it but it will only work internationally and not here in USA like on tmobile or at&t since Verizon blocked USA carriers I guess.
So I want to see if there's a custom hacked firmware or something so I can install it and work with USA tmobile? Thanks

Try this

[Q] Flash T-Mobile -> Telus?

I'm in Canada, using Telus Mobility (currently on an LG G2 with a smashed screen). I was recently gifted a T-Mobile Note 3 (N900T). Wondering if it's possible to flash this phone with a stock Telus Note 3 ROM, and if that would effectively unlock it as well?

Not sure if you can flash Telus ROM on N900T. But that will not unlock the phone.

So since the other "free" unlock methods I've looked at don't seem to work with 4.4.2 (RegionLock Away, and the UMTS menu), is there any other way short of paying some unknown on the internet 30+ to generate a code for me? Flash a generic ROM, or a new kernel or radio, or...?
I suppose I can ask T-Mobile but me being in Canada, I doubt they'd oblige.

Not sure but typically you can buy it online. There are many sites available.
Did you try these secret codes to enter directly to the Service Main Menu: *#27663368378#
Will it even work on Telus? I'm thinking it won't since it uses AWS (1700MHz) instead of 850/1900MHz that Telus uses for HSPA
Unlocked now, Telus SIM in and registered... data icon shows "4G LTE", so I guess it does

How did you do with it.

Finally gave in and bought an unlock code... cellunlock.net I think, or one of those.

Possible to un-brand the device?

Hey there,
I'm getting this in a few days from a carrier and was wondering if this would be possible. I've done this before with previous phones (Xperia S with a locked bootloader, flashed to the international/unbranded variant).
Is it possible to flash to the unbranded image on a carrier branded Priv?
Thanks!
Depends on the carrier, if at all possible. T-Mobile, maybe.. Verizon, at&t, Sprint not likely.

Can the verizon variant be fully converted to unlocked version?

Hello. I have been on the forum for days searching for answers for the sprint variant, which is hard to find solid proof of it working completely on gsm. Now for the verizon variant. If I buy a verizon variant will it work fully on GSM carriers like at&t?
Plus can it be fully converted? Including radio, to the US unlocked version? I have done it in the past with the at&t m8, converting it to unlocked variant with s-off, cid change, and ruu. I see tutorials saying to flash unlocked version to then reflash verizon radio. Will it work with unlocked radio? Or is it the same as with the sprint variant, where it always needs sprint radio?
Thanks for any help.

The unlocked HTC 10 is compatible with AT&T and T‑Mobile Networks.
The verizon variant can be converted to unlocked, read here

Thanks. I had read that forum, but since the guide posted says to flash verizon radio, I was wondering if you could leave the unlocked radio. After reading various posts afterwards it seems it is posible to not flash the verizon radio (keep the unlocked radio).

Correct, you can fully convert to Unlocked without flashing anything Verizon afterwards. Im using my Vzw 10 on a gsm network, converted to unlocked.

Thanks. I will look into buying the verizon variant. Did you also have to sim unlock? Or will flashing the unlocked version ruu take care of that? I truely doubt it, but I can not find any verizon unlocking service. And the only 10's I can find are locked to verizon.

Verizon 10 is not sim locked. You can take it, in stock Verizon form, and insert a gsm sim card and it will work. The real benefit of converting to unlocked is to have direct updates, have access to more lte bands, and best of all not have Verizon's bloated OS.

Version 5 Boot Loader G-390P S7 - Moving to Another Carrier

I have a question. If I bought this phone outright, and sprint basically locked rooting it via boot loader version 5+, could another carrier flash it with "something special" to get it on the carriers firmware? If I own this, and Sprint locked a feature on me, wouldn't that make them liable for damages?

Not really. You bought the phone to use specially on Sprint as a Sprint phone. When it came out, no one knew about the u firmware or using it on other carriers. There is a post on here about unlocking additional lte bands. If the phone is carrier unlocked, you will get some service on all carriers, but not all the bands will be unlocked.

SM-G975U (Formally an at&t) refueses to active on Sprint

Hi everyone, title basically says it all. The phone was fully paid for and unlocked. Formally an At&t phone. I'm trying to use it on Sprint's network as it should support it but however I cannot get it to activate at all. Apparently it isn't even recognized by Sprint's system at all. Any advice?
Is it because Sprint is a cdma network and at&t is a gsm network?
I could be very wrong but I dont believe gsm unlocked phones dont play well with verizon/sprint even though they have all the bands.
Let someone wiser point you in the write direction but probably flashing sprint rom on the phone would probably help. There is a thread in rom section that has you flash the unlocked firmware and then flash carrier firmware. I did this with my att unlocked 10+ and now using as a tmobile device(for carrier stuff).
Take it to a store or call ... they're picky as to letting devices on the network that aren't in their system
Gotta flash the g975u1 firmware on it...
