enable usb debugging - AT&T Galaxy Note 3 General

to enable usb debugging on att note 3 you need to goto settings, about device and then to build number. keep tapping on where it says build number for several times. after it says developer options activated, then the developers option will show up in setting area. hope this helps others.
give a thanks......

They really tucked that away didn't they??

Whoah! How the heck did you figure that one out?!

They started that on 4.1 I think.... Been around a little while now

I like messing with the animation scales in there, you can speed the up or slow them down. Kind of fun to mess with.

[Q] Uninstall an active device admin app

Hey guys,
I've got an app called "Unlock with WiFi" installed on my rooted Nexus 4. I cannot for the life of me get the d*** thing off my phone. It had requested to be a device admin (which I had approved a while ago). However, I cannot deactivate it under Security>Device administrators...the checkbox just will NOT uncheck. I've tried uninstalling from within the app, which is what the app FAQs say to do, but it says I must first deactivate the app as a device admin.
I wasn't even rooted prior to tonight. I got so frustrated trying to uninstall it, I just did a quick root and installed TiBu...then proceeded to "Un-Install!" It looked like it had worked, I rebooted, then there it was again! I just want it gone! Any suggestions? I'd really rather not have to flash the stock images, but if that's my only option, I will -_-
I'm not familiar with the app but go into the app and find any and all settings to disable it to make sure the app is no longer running. Then go into Settings > Apps and stop the app. Then go back to Settings and remove the device from administrators. See if that works for you.
Have you tried settings >accessibility and turn it off there?

I've disabled the functionality from within the
app, but cannot disable/force close from Android settings (see attached pic). I've even tried booting into safe mode, but experience the same issues.

It's not in accessibility, only in device administrators...and Android will not let me uncheck it.

[Q] Where are the Developers and Performance options in CM10.1 config 28032013 build?

I can't find this options under my options... they are not under system in this version of CM, I came from a CM10 that used to show the options just fine. Really weird. Did those options moved? I can't find them...
But if I plugin the USB, debugging icon pop up and I am able to get into developers options from it.
Performance options still out of my reach, I need them. =/
tap build number 7 times in about page

[Q] Text box on Home Page

So I have a text box that shows up over top of my home page. (see image)
Does anyone know how to make it go away. It showed up when I restored the phone and updated to AMF3. I cannot find where to turn it off at.
Any assistance is GREATLY appreciated.
Von
Does out go away after a reboot?
Developer options you must have something checked to show that. You might've accidently enabled it

Hmmm I have rebooted and it comes back. I have enabled developer's mode and nothing is enabled so not sure what in that area would be doing it.
If I open anything it goes away until I go back to the home page.
Its not developer options... This is strange. Are you rooted or completely stock?

That could have been a pre-PROD device...

No "network mode"

I am trying to update my phone to LTE, but when it comes to the step where I am supposed to be able to chose "network mode", I do not have that option...from looking @ vids & screen shots online other people's phones seem to have menu options that mine does not on the "Mobile network settings" menu. I have taken a screenshot for you to see...any help would be appreciated.
Thats because its a ROM feature! Not all roms have it.

I don't see how that can be, since in none of the enable LTE posts mention that
That's because they are clueless as well.

No ##DEBUG# with Sacs custom rom

##DEBUG# does not give me any values for any of the options. For example, if I go into 1X Engeineering RF menu, nothing comes up - just an empty black screen. It's that way for all the options.
I would be willing to deal with that is there is any other option, like an app, that could give me the same info.
I have tried ##SCRTN#, updated everything, restarted the phone. Nothing works to get that info there.
Any suggestions?

There was stuff about debugging mode, but not ##DEBUG#. They were talking about the development mode option. :-\
Try this out in friend. It has a bunch diff'rent dialer codes that may help you out. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2291171

I wanted to bump this, to see if there is anything new I can try to get the dialer codes to work. Other ROMS they work fine, but not Sacs, which sucks because Sacs' is the best I've tried.
