Get GS4 or wait?

Just wondering what everyone's opinion is.. i'm looking to upgrade soon, but i'm not sure if I should go ahead and get the GS4 or wait.
I'm on Verizon, and there are rumors about the Verizon HTC One, Moto X, Nexus 5, Note 3...

Just do it, it's an amazing phone you could be forever waiting for the next model if you did that my friend

I would say go for the GS4 it's a really good buy. Waiting for something better is like waiting for tomorrow to come... Because when the new one do comes,:fingers-crossed: you would want to wait once again. And it goes on.
You just have to make your mind up and go for it

Don't be silly , SIV+ (aka i9506) is coming out in like a month Get that since it literally mops the floor with the current S4 variants

I'm in the US so I don't think Verizon would support the International version

no need on waiting its the best phone verizon currently has.

[Q] Long shot Question but anyway or any know how to get Sense on Note 3?

Very very very long shot question here but anyway to get a sense rom on the note 3? Developer unlocked bootloader of course. I know there was a team sense4all that was porting sense 4 to samsung devices but havent heard or seen a thing about them anytime recently. Anybody know what it would take or even if it is possible to get sense running on a touchwiz device like note 3?

It could potentially be possible but not without a LOT of development work. I have seen attempts in the past but I seem to remember them being riddled with problems. I would say its pretty doubtful that Sense will ever come to the Note 3.

yeah i figured it wouldnt happen. wish somebody would at least try! LOL you know anybody that would give it a shot?

I've only experienced the Sony UI briefly in person but wow, that would be awesome too to port/theme over

doesn't hyperdrive have the option?

@oneandroidnut I started a bounty thread a year ago, it worked for the galaxy s3. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=null So we would just need a motivated developer. But I really doubt it would happen because only dev edition devices can run it due to special kernel.

thread link goes no where and we need to start this again. and the tmobile note 3 could run it too! I would donate some good money for that if somebody made a complete sense 5 or sense 5.5 working port that would be unreal

These requests pop up on every device ever and it's never been done.

Time To Say..Bye Bye.....

Hi all my dear GTab -2 users....
After so many hours of thinking and discussion with my team mates I came to a conclusion to say Bye Bye to my bellowed GTab-2 community....
As you know guys I have contributed for tab2 from very starting stage of development....I started my development with Jelly Beast rom at initial stage and and till now I have produced many different ROMs ...I hope you all enjoyed my work....
Yes I have very hard time on writing this thread (my last thread in this community ) because this community was a part of my life from past one year.......but am too over loaded with devices like nexus5 ,note3,note2,Samsung s4,nexus4......etc...
I strongly hope you guys understand me and my point....and co operate with me....
I still remember my promise about SOKP
So @DarkStryder will be representing and maintain official SOKP rom for both variants of Tab2 from my side and my team...I hope you guys will support him and cooperate with him in his threads....
I really miss some users here....hope we will meet some where in xda again.....

Adi my friend you will surely be missed. This was my first and favorite rom of all the roms I've ran on my tab. Without a doubt I always came back to your threads and tried to help who I could. You will be missed but I hope to see you around the forums as always. Good luck my friend

A note 4 may be my next device but as far as the S3 goes I doubt you'll support my carrier as its verizon here in the states. I'm on hangouts also adi, look me up sometime if you use it. Email is [email protected]

In s3 we support 2 models 9300 and 9305 ...my team mate Arun Manohar (Xda RC) will be taking care there .....

Sadly when VZW does get the Note 4 they will lock down the bootloader like they did on the S3, S4 and the Note 3. I was running an earlier version of Android 4.1.2 and refused to update. The new 4.3 bootloader locked the phone down and while rooting is possible anything other than TW roms are not able to be installed.

Ya that's why I call Samsung as samsucks....:sly:
They will never do what users expected but they will do what is not needed ....
Example Knox .....I don't thing its need ...
They would have over hauled tw ui in kitkat...
But they never bothered about that.....

Well its not only samsung in this case it's also verizon. We've had one Nexus device and even though people think we will get another one someday I somehow doubt that

Sam-sucks! They won't get my money for locked devices! We will move to Nexus, HTC or other root-friendly brands.

Who's your developer of choice

I've been ouuta the custom rom/root game for awhile. Who are the developers to keep an eye out for for of the Tmo N4?

I had one for years across several phones . He was ran off or lost interest depending on who you ask. Found another equally as good but he all of a sudden quit and closed up shop. So, I am looking forward to the responses to this thread as well.

I have used Jedi Roms for my Note II. I know he had a Note 3. I hope he gets a Note IV.

I wonder if someone will just make a internation version of the ROM and T-mobile can use it too. Thats the dilemma I will be in.

Hi guys I'm getting excited about this upcoming release not to hijack this thread, but as a tmobile specific device I'm assuming all these roms are wifi calling compatible?

Sooo.... I thought knox and the efuse thing was preventing rom flashing on these new devices? Is there a reliable work around? I need to be able to both root and unroot with no trace so I can continue to JUMP without paying a deductible...

Good to see chainfire already posted autoroot for a few of the unlocked variants in Asia over in the Note 4 forum.

yep, as long as we get a stock boot .img to Chainfire ASAP, there will be root for this phone within a day or 2 of release. IMO..

iB4STiD...Amazing Roms for the S4 and now he's supposed to be coming to the note 4. Can't wait.

Hoping Jamison makes his way here with infamous style roms he did on the s4. Stable, customizable, retains touchwiz features and removed bloat.

Wanam's Xposed module, but I doubt he'll get a Note 4.

I remember Jedi ROM for T-mobile 3.
I am hoping for a clean ROM for T-mobile. Anyone will make one for the Note 4?
Has anyone with T-mobile use the International cook ROM and it will work for T-mobile also? (Thats what happened to me as I now have a T-mobile HTC One M7 and I end up getting the ROM from a International HTC One M7 forum.

Getting the note 4 on Saturday from Virgin mobile £28 pound a month any advice would be appreciated,i will read the forums but a heads up would be nice.

The Note 4 is a fantastic phone but be warned- it can be laggy as hell.
If you're looking for advice on ROMs etc then I'd personally recommend SimplRom.
Just my opinion- doesn't mean it'll be right for you but it's a great ROM.
Alternatively put AOSP on your Note 4 and it'll definitely fly.
Or just keep it stock and wait for the phantom 5.1.1 update.
But you seriously won't be disappointed with the Note 4! The camera btw is fantastic!

Also, if you need any help with recoveries and rooting etc just check out the stickies on the development page- it's ridiculously easy and if it's your first time rooting etc don't worry- it's simple and the rewards are well worth it!

Welcome. I'm guessing if its virgin mobile it's the f variant. Make sure you check and flash only mods meant for your variant.
