Does anyone have the two stocks videos that came with LG G2? When I did a factory reset, it erased everything. I lost those two videos. If anybody knows where to get them, please let me know. Thank you.
I found another post where somebody posted the videos I was looking for, I can't post outside links (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476&highlight=stock&page=25) #249, however when I put them on my phone it says that files are locked, he told me to create Preload Video folders on sd card and put files there, but still doesn't work. Can somebody help me? Thank you.

Thanks for your help, however its doing the same thing, when I put it on my phone, it says that file is locked. Anybody knows what the problem is?
Not sure. Have you tried downloading them with the phone?
I guess .dm files can only be played on the device that it was installed on initially
The DM file extension is an acronym for Delivery Message used by the DRM (Digital Rights Management) technology. This particular media type commonly associated with an audio data is encoded with the DRM copy protection standard and can be hosted on some cellular phones to serve as ringtones or multimedia clips. This file format is generated by the DRM Packager Tool for the Sony Ericsson mobile phones and can only be accessed by the specific mobile device licensed for its usage.

I actually went to sprint store for them lol, and folks there said it won't work for they're protected... but kindly allowed me to upload the two preloaded videos from a ls980 model on demo to my network drive. Copied to my g2 and I was able to play and show them to my friends. So these dm videos turned out to be encoded per specific model (or rom?) but that not a per phone lock.
Other way is to download a stock or stock-like rom flash it to the phone.
I didn't get the Art_of_Flight_FHD.dm back. Can't recall if saw that one on g2 before, but those from sprint stores or the aftermarket stock rom or kdz I downloaded don't have the one.

NOTE: I pushed the FMRadio.apk from the Euro GS Rom to this phone prior to making the system dump. It is included in the apps in the dump. HOWEVER, it does NOT work. It appears that all it would need to work would be the radio drivers from the EURO version to include in a new kernal - then we would have a REAL FM RADIO like on some of the other devices -instead of the ATT crapware radio that they want to charge fees for!

I heard it was "the same as rooting" - but how is it done? Tried sticking it on the card and doing adb reboot recovery and it won't do anything.
I deleted att apps and may need to exchange the device out at att. want to make sure it looks legit before I take it in.

I just went and tried to download the file, and it worked.
I also downloaded it earlier and then uploaded it again so there are two files floating around. Go try that one.

For those who have AT&T tablets and have issue with using mediahub (it keeps prompting you that there is an update but when clicking OK, Market can't find the update), the trick is to put in your AT&T SIM card (the one that comes with the tab). Market will not find the update until you do so. Even though your original SIM card is not activated, it will still work. Once it finds the update, turn on Wifi and update as usual.
I've also noticed that AT&T tab will appear under Market once you insert the original AT&T SIM (even though it is not activated) and you could access all the AT&T software there.
This doesn't seem to work once you've flashed a Euro rom. I've tried messing with the build prop signature, but I can't get any ATT-specific stuff working, other than the data counter widget.
Now that you have the updated mediahub from AT&T, can you pull the APK off and post it please?
I'm running JMEv4 and I just ripped the MediaHub.apk from the stock ROM. Installed fine, but whenever I try to sign-up, it gives me a location can't be used.
EDIT: Yeah, there's definitely something buggy about it. It's not even loading the thumbnails of movies. And that location error is "Your location is not known or supported." Looks like OP is going to have to upload that updated apk.

Good to know..Have you tried changing sales_code.dat to ATT? It is the current value on origin AT&T tab. You will also need to Clear data under Market, MediaHub and Media storage. Not sure if you need to reboot.

It is like itunes for the tab. The reason everyone wants to get this to work is because ATT tabs came with a $50 credit towards movie rentals.
The problem is that once you flash your rom you can't update Media Hub and you can't sign into media hub anymore.
There is a nice group of us that have this $50 credit and can't use it. Kind of pissing me off personally. Still trying to find a fix for this.

Just tried this APK and it still prompts for an update from the market (of which it can't find). This is with the build.prop that was posted as well. TiBu shows this MediaHub as version 108.

I'm using JME and the attached MediaHub and build.prop. I can't update but I could use MediaHub. The trick is turn off Wifi (so it won't prompt you for update), launch MH, turn Wifi back on and enjoy
Hm. Do you happen to see another MH.apk inside /data/app?
Did you install the build.prop into the system directory on JME firmware? What do I need to do to get it to work on JME firmware?

Here are the steps for me on JME v4
1. Install MediaHub posted by OP
2. Replace builds.prop with OP's
3. Update sales_code.dat to ATT (not sure if this is needed but I did it)

6. Start MH

Anyway now that I've played with the device for a day or two the questions come. First off by flashing a new ROM, will this problem be solved?? ( Just to save u the time of looking I can't seem to tranfer files from my Tablet to PC and vice versa. Under MTP mode ( I think that's the name) the tablet shows up as a camera and everytime I try to make,copy or move a file I get an error message. Now for my SECOND question. looking at the ROM's I get confused when I go to the download pages. Some of them have names like Tilapia,Crespo,etc. What are those? I think it might be the different ROM's for the different devices and if so which is mine?? I have the 32 GB model that has wifi JDQ39 and this leads into my THIRD question. I purchased the tablet used off of ebay and it's in great condition. When i powered it up it hadn't been rooted or anything, but funny thing is I found two programs on it from t-mobile?? Yes I know, a My Account app and device information, the *my account* showing Data and minutes left, although there was none. So are these also used as phones? Or might've my apps been downloaded once I signed into google..which I think is what happened!! Not sure about the file copy problem but why don't you first try a factory reset and update to latest stock image and see if that does anything, nothing to lose since you just got the tablet. The names refers to the different models, if you have a 32 G wifi only that should be "grouper". Not sure why the tmobile apps are there, maybe it will be gone after you do the reset? Or maybe you have a phone on tmobile so when you choose to restore the account settings it restored the app for you?

Last week 16 Gb of photos and videos (the last 3 years of my life) suddenly disappeared with only the last 6 pics I took in the gallery app. Stupidly I did not back anything up. I realize that the data is still probably on the phone, however to get to this I need to root the phone. The phone is running 5.0 Lollipop and is encrypted because I had to instal mobile iron. for my job. I have tried Kingroot, Kingoroot and several other methods but keep failing. I have not decrypted the phone as I believe this will make the data inaccessible unless there is some way I can get the encryption key off the phone. Any advise of method to use to root or how to extract these files given the current state of the phone would be greatly appreciated.

Post a screenshot of file systems,DCIM especially and if using microsd to see where data went.Possibly root is not needed.
Where did the files went?
In case of root i suggest using ODIN software and flashing twrp.tar file. (just in case u havent tried that already).

I am not using a microSD
From what I have read the disappearing of photos and videos randomly occurs to some people on the Note 3 and the file data if not overwritten is still present. XDA wont post let me a post a link but there are several threads elsewhere on this issue.
XDA also wont let me attach photos until I have 10 posts. Ill see if I can bump this to do so.
Please don't bump multiple times. Bump once in 24hrs.
Have patience. XDA is a global forum so every member is with various time zones.

You must Odin back to 4.4.4 to root.
I would make sure those photos weren't backed up after all. If you just use google+ for example they are backed up by default.
Places to check:
OneDrive, Picasa, gmail, dropbox.
Only use my Note 3 to play audio and video files.

Just did a chkdsk scan and everything OK. Have a screen capture of this but do not know how to attach.
Additional Info: My Note 3 has stock Android 4.4.2 (KitCat) and never rooted.
Am Open to all suggestions how to correct this problem.

As previously mentioned have used Windows longer than Android so used chkdsk to examine & fix the mSD Card. Everything was OK and all the missing files were shown and Not damaged,
Since posting I backed up all the wanted data and then put the mSD card back in my Note 3. All the missing files were there and undamaged. Can anyone explain this?
From experience most Windows users reload the OS every few years.
Am wondering if I should Factory reset my Android 4.4.2 OS?

Man if you just use that phone for a media device just create a backup of your phone, SD card, and copy it to your PC then install custom ROMs until you find one you like and root that bad boy. My note 3 is my primary phone with service and I have about 10 custom ROMs on my SD card that I switch every couple of days. Earlier today I was on Havco OS 2.8 android 9 now I'm on some rom that when it turns on theres a pink unicorn and its on android 7. Its easier than you think. Things you need are 1. TWRP(for your phone model) 2. Odin(on PC to flash things to your phone*optional) 3. Custom ROM 4. magisk(to root your phone) 5. Gapps (for the android version that's on the custom rom*optional) 6. Enjoy
