Hello to everyone!!
I am facing a problem lately with my S4!
i have 2 android phones linked with one Gmail account.
The problem is that when I do a change on my contacts, this change will not sync to the other phone and to the Gmail contacts account!!!
And the change will come back as it was after some minutes!!
Can anyone help me!!?!!?
P.S
When I do a change from Gmail Contact on my account through web browser everything works perfect!!

hi.
i have used on my vario II (wm 5) besides txt messages, two email accounts; gmail and hotmail. Gmail works beautiful, but I need make changes to the hotmail one... however going to Tools - Options I can only see Text Messages, Gmail and New Account!
Where and how can I change Hotmail settings... as its not on the list? I can still access the Inbox of Hotmail, weird?

The problem is that adding the Hotmail again, I will end up having 2 Hotmail accounts... as I cant see the current Hotmail account in the options I cannot delete it either...
what a pain... :/
New Account
Ok.. I now have added a NEW Hotmail account. BUT - even that account does not come up on the Options page!! And now even the default Outlook account has disapperead as well. Theres no way I can change any settings!
I need some serious help guys!!! Please!

i can still access the hotmail accounts, gmail and text messages with the top left hardware button. but I cant delete/edit any of the Hotmail accounts as they dont appeear on th Options page... HELPPPP!

Yesterday I installed the new ROM to my Orange Magic - the original, from official web page.
I configured everything and it looks that it works well. However I have one problem with contacts. The phone synchronized my Gmail contacts, which are not used by me at all. So I turned them off in the menu to show me only contacts from my Exchange account. So as I'm trying to call to someone, it displays my contacts correctly. Unfortunately, receiveing calls is worse - I have a few contacts, which are simultaneously on Gmail and Exchange and my phone instead of displaying the data from the Exchange contact, it displays my contacts from Gmail. How to turn it off, improve? How can I delete these contacts from Gmail from my phone?

Please could you help me with correct sync of contacts no matter of it's gmail or Live ?
I firstly upload contacts to my Live account.
Then I sync all contacts with WP7.
But If I delete some contact in device it doesn't sync delete the contact in Live contacts. Why, is any setup how to change it ?
I got the same issue with Gmail.

Hey there, I hate no one has replied because I have the same problem... I have both a Gmail account and a Hotmail account setup on my Streak and neither of them has synced contacts with the phone, nor does Dell Sync on my 64bit Windows 7 laptop recognize my Streak. I have Steve's 1.9 installed, rooted and with StreakMod recovery installed if it makes a difference.
I will mention that I set up the accounts a week ago, so I don't think that it's a matter of time. I also have an HTC Inspire and it synced up my contacts with both accounts within minutes
I Am able to sync my Google reader, my gmail and calendar but my contacts dont seem to be able to sync? how can i fix this?
Go to Settings and then Accounts and sync. Click on your gmail address and make sure that all the options are selected including Sync Contacts. Have you already done this?
One silly mistake I made when I first got my phone was I added a bunch of contacts as a "T-Mobile" contact and when they didn't show up as a Google Contact I figured out what I did wrong.
thanks for your reply and yes i have tried that but i just cant seem to get it to sync when i flashed cm 7 the contact sync work but i have returned to stock sense rom but it doesnt seem to want to sync.
Ive had a few different problems like this before so....
Do you mean; When you add your gmail, it doesn't sync and add your contacts that you have saved to your gmail account? Or when you add a new contact it doesn't save it to your contacts on your gmail account?

i have 4 accounts of gmail,linkedin, and whatsapp.
i'm only syncing one account with contacts and only one group from it, all the other accounts are sync the gmail alone.
when i'm searching an contact i get the result with contact from other account(specific one) the account isn't sync..just when i add the account at the first time it was sync by contacts, after it i make V only for one group that i want but i guess all the contacts..
how can i fix these?
