[Q] Bricked? LG E612G - Optimus L3, L5, L7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I have a LG E612G from Chilean company Claro.
I have the bootloader unlocked, and I was using Cyagenmod beta for android 4.3, but the phone has a lot of lag and issues so I decided to go back to stock, so I downloaded the KDZ file and KDZ updater beside all the drivers needed, I have tried with several KDZ:
V20G_00
V20C_00
V20A_00
V10E_00
V10D_downgrade
I have tried using the KDZ updater in DIAG or emergency mode (I just haven't been able to get t he phone to download mode and not to emergency mode), but every time I get the same result, the phone reboot, makes the start sound and the LG logo appears on the screen (with an animation on the border of the "face") and thats all, the animation goes in to a loop and nothing happen even after a while.
I dont't know what else to do, I have followed both unbrick guides that appear here and they aren't working.
I have google the issue and everyone has been able to get their phone working again, I have tried with e612g and e610 kdz to see if that make any difference and nothing.
I don't know if this is important but every time that I have used the KDZ I remove the micro SD from the phone
Please I beg you, help me
P.S: I apologyze for my english as is not my native lenguage

First of all friend, as far as I know nothing can be done to unbrick a phone. If it can be fixed, its not a brick.
Can you get into cwm? (Power + Vol up + home and release power after beep on my phone.)

@CTuna
You can still try a hard reset..
When the phone is switched off, press and hold the Volume down key + Power key with your left hand.
When the LED on the bottom of the phone lights up, release Volume down key + Power keys and press and hold the Home key (for about 2 seconds) at the same time.
The phone will turn on and perform a factory reset immediately.
Do not operate your phone for at least a minute, while the hard reset is carried out.
You will then be able to switch your phone back on.

Guys, it works, so if you ever came down here (I mean Chile) I will buy you a beer.
It now have android 4.1.2 and everything is working again
Thanks

with a locked bootloader on stock you can boot into download mode/emergency mode and hard reset
to boot into a custom recovery like cwm you must unlock the bootloader:good:

I tryid to get a original MAGIC ROM in it, but it didn´t work.
Found a HTC HERO ROM at this site and tryid to install it, but all my MAGIC is doing now, is turn on - show the picture i have set as background - and after 2 to 5 sek. a little "screen" pops up and it says =
SORRY, The process android.process acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again
How can i get my MAGIC to work again ? With MAGIC ROM or HERO ROM (Thats not important)
I can´t get into the menu, so i can´t switch on/off anything.
Hope oyu can help me
your flashing a bad ROM
turn your phone off and reboot into recovery
wipe everything... flash a real man's ROM and reboot
did you remember to wipe before you flashed the new rom?
Hi again
No i didn´t wipe anything, i dont know how to ?
My MAGIC can´t do anything
In fastbootmode (Back + power) there are =
1.(Vol down) Hboot mode
2. (Send) Reset device (Dont know witch botton)
3. (Action) Restart to Hboot (Dont know witch botton)
4. (Menu) Power down
When i just turn the MAGIC on normally, i cant get it to do anything, but show the popup window, saying: SORRY, The process android.process acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again
I have tried alot with Windows Mobile, but never with Android - And iam lost
turn your phone off
turn it back on holding home button + power/end button
you should enter recovery mode
even with windows mobile they recomend u wipe after a rom install lol
Do this, it will ebter you into recovery mode, in which you can wipe esrything you need to before reflashing a new rom.
turn your phone off

Thank you
Any help will be perfect
All it can do now (That i know) is;
Turn on with errors and can´t do anything
Or
Turn on in fastboot mode (Crying smiley)
1. Hold down the HOME button (picture of a house)
2. Press and hold Power/End (red key) until you get some type of boot logo
3. Release Power/End but keep holding HOME
4. Hold HOME until you boot in to Recovery
If you get no Recovery, then you have no custom Recovery installed and you will need to look in to installing one. If you do get in to Recovery, let us know what version it is.

I have tried what you said (1 to 4) but all it does is show HTC MAGIC in screen.
I have tried to hold both bottons down up to 2 min. - Nothing happaens.
But how do i install anything when the MAGIC can´t do anything
I have tried to install RUU_Sapphire_HTC_Europe_305401 but computer and MAGIC won´t se eachother...... Tell me to check USB connection, but drivers are install and i can se the MAGICs SDcart on my computer.
Iam am SO confused
Sounds like you have attempted to install an official ROM on a previously rooted device. That means you would have lost the custom recovery that was on there.
Boot back to FastBoot and tell us what Radio and SPL you have....

In screen it says;
SAPPHIRE PVT 32A ENG S-OFF H
H-BOOT-1.33.2005 (SAPP10000)
CPLD-12
RADIO-3.22.20.17
OK, you are going to have to use ADB. Do you know how to use it? Do you have it installed? Google "Android SDK" to find it and install it.
Once you have adb installed, conenct your phone and boot in to Fastboot (hold Back and press Power), once in Fastboot plug in your USB cable, your screen should say "FASTBOOT USB". In a command prompt on your pc, from the fast boot directory (typically c:/Android/Tools) type "adb devices", it should return your device id. If it does, you are good to go to follow the instructions at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=605239
From the "Downgrade (Revert back to) 32A 3.22 Radio and SPL" section.
You are very close to having a brick where you currently are, so tread lightly friend. Verify these directions I have given you, but that is the route I would take if I were in your shoes.
Read this as well...

try a different combination of keys ( Vol down+home+power or home+power )

Yeah, I accessed the recovery with Vol Up + Power + Home, but only when the phone was booted up fully. He was trying to restore the old ROM in CWM but it gave him error flashing boot image, then he restarted the phone and got the bootloop problem, so theres no way to restart it into HBOOT. I will try your method xsenman, have to wait till sunday so the phone gets here. If anyone has some other tips, I would appreciate it.

May be you bricked your phone. You can try solutions mentioned below:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1134975
USB-jig FTW
It's not bricked..if you're seeing anything on the screen, it should be recoverable. And even hard bricked phone can be saved with the UnBrickablemod.

Okay heres the thing. Easy Reboot Recovery does nothing, just opens and closes, I guess since it kinda doesn't recognize the USB from the phone. Then I used SGS Rescue Kit, launched OneClick.jar, connected the phone, clicked unsoft brick and it said Sucessful, the phone started showing the Samsung logo, but then nothing happens. Tried Easy Reboot Recovery again, but nothing. Any ideas?
Can you still access download mod ( Volume Key down + Menu + Power ) ?
If yes you can download a stock ROM that includes PIT PDA PHONE CSC and BOOTLOADER files, this page contains links to all theses files :
http://www.androidgen.fr/tutoriel-s...id-gingerbread-2-3-6-odin-article-2110-2.html
Now once you download these files just start Odin and put:
s1_odin_20100512.pit in PIT
CODE_I9000XWJVZ_CL762604_REV03_user_low_ship.tar.md5 in PDA
MODEM_I9000XXJVT_REV_00_CL1064602.tar.md5 in MODEM
GT-I9000-CSC-HOME-MULTI-OXAJVT.tar.md5 in CSC
APBOOT_I9000XWJVZ_CL762604_REV03_user_low_ship.tar.md5 in BOOTLOADER
Make sure that "Re-Partition" is checked as shown in this Screenshot:

REPAIRED!I got my phone repaired...HERE is the method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2477595
Last night I began to try REPAIRING , but it still can not work...
Firstly Pardon me for my poor English...
The reason it stucked is that when i tried to get it back to stock firmware, the software(LG FLASH tool) warmed me with some unknown errors at the time it almostly finished... and after it restarted, it stucked in the starting LG screen...

Unable to enter download mode, instead,it entered fastboot mode
In fastboot mode,I successfully flashed boot.img, and recovery.img(CWM or TWRP) successfully flashed but could not start, and when I tried flashing system.img it failed
If I boot it directly with USB pluged, the computer will detect the port the same as which appears when you use kdz flashing.. But this port can not use for flashing kdz with LG Support tool, whether it is in diag mode or cs_emergency mode.
What's more,.tot file could not be flashed in by LG Flash Tool,too..
Sometimes, after some special action,it would appear a "qhsusb_bulk" unknown hardware on my computer , and then my computer tells me to format a bunch of "local driver"s
Current ideas:
1 Try to enter recovery from fastboot mode
(2) flash my phone whitout enter download mode
8/10 10:00 update ideas
a. extracted from the official kdz or tot, img could be flashed in in fastboot mode
b. Could You please send me some original DUMPed imgs in LG F320K? (Using Nandroid backup in CWM or TWRP)
Very thankful for your kindness!

New discoveries! boot with holding the volume + and power key for five seconds, it would enter the official Recovery (rescue mode) But if CWM or TWRP flashed it couldn't start..
Hold all the three keys to boot it would enter an unknown New World (look at the picture). . .
But now I have no idea of these two modes...I urgently need F320K dumped partition image! ! Please help me,my friend..Thx very much
Photos was taken with the OLD but faithful, never bricked, NEVER broke after fell down-my Nokia C6, but the quality of images is not good. . .
If this time I can repair it back form brick successfully,I will write down my operation in detail to help the guys who have the same problem as mine..
Very grateful for your help--even just a reply or subscribe!:good:
Have you tried removing the MicroUSB-cable while pressing PWR + Volume down?
That did the trick for me, and I'm pretty much in the same boat.
Remove USB-Cable -> Hold pwr + volume down -> restart -> hold pwr + volume down again when the LG-logo pops up.
Then -> LG Mobile Support Tool and recover from the menu there.
Takes FOREVER to download the software, but still. It works.
My issue now is that I only have 10GB left on my G2. Seems like it thinks its a 16GB instead of a 32GB. Wich annoys the booger out of me.

Hey can you post your method in English? I have the exact same problem with my phone right now. Missing IMEI, phone restarts every 20 seconds, and I've tried reverting back to stock but now CWM is gone, as well as everything in the internal memory. Can you please share in your wisdom how to fix??
Thanks in advance.
My G2 can not go into download mode and recover mode, and my computer can not recognise it so I can not put anything into it.
when I hold Volume up and plug usb cable, its screen has a green robot with red exclamation! and I can go into recovery mode.
How can I do to wake up my phone?
I Bricked My LG G2 VS980 and have no idea what to do
So a couple days ago, I rooted my phone, and everything worked perfectly. Today I tried to install cyanogenmod 11 onto my LG G2 VS980 with Kitkat 4.2.2. I wiped everything on my phone except for the Internal sd card, and installed it. However, when I rebooted my phone, cyanogenmod didn't boot, and my phone is unable to get past the LG logo. It is in a bootloop, and keeps powering on and off unless I turn it off with the power button.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I put in $25 and will send it when I verify it works.
Thanks for the work!
Currently I am at work.
I will test it once I got home.
----- edit -----
Got soft brick on the device.
TWRP seems to work, but it is stuck on LG boot screen (The device can't be checked for corruption)
I have to open the back cover and reconnect the battery.
Since I have stock kdz file, it goes back to normal after flashing with stock kdz

You can open a thread and put some pictures about how to open the back cover and disconnect the battery.
@tungkick, our device name is T-Mobile LG GPAD X 8.0, not 8.3. Hope those gpad 8.3 users weren't confused.

Pry open from USB OTG port, and use a mini screwdriver to remove the battery connector.
Once you turned off this way, press and hold volume up and plug USB to enter download mode.
Run LGUP and install stock kdz file (upgrade).

Do not know if you're having the same boot problem as me. But I did not have to remove battery to get it to reboot. I just hold all 4 buttons down for a good amount of time and device will reboot. Leave USB cord in and release all buttons then vol up to get into download mode.
Re-reading your post the same exact thing happened to me when testing with tungkick on Skype. dz seems to flash just fine but then it will not boot tablet, so no way to adb reboot recovery.

It's uneccesary to open the device to reboot it. Once you've flashed TungKicks stuff, you can Hold Volume down and Power to restart the device, then enter recovery with the key combo, then you can shut down or do whatever with the device with TWRP.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, Using the info on TungKicks' post I've flashed the device, It has TWRP, but does not boot to android. it just hangs on the dm-verity warning.
I had to use the key combo to get to recovery.
Volume Down + Power. Release power when LG logo shows up, continue to hold Volume Down. Re press power after one second.
Recovery has issues too.
-Can't wipe the device.
-nothing gets mounted.
-TWRP claims that there's no OS installed
-Upon further testing, the recovery reports itself as V510 via MTP. No beuno!

I didn't know how to get to recovery with key combo, everything else I knew. As for TWRP... it's a start, but I wonder what needs to be changed for it to work with this device.

I mention the key combo for restarting the device and entering recovery.
Re: TWRP, it's probably the mounts. Not sure.

Flash success. Rooted :good: :highfive:
For anyone who flashes this dz. Towards the end it will hang at 100%, just let it continue and it will eventually reboot.

Root also works on mine.
No Adapt Client.
Install Adaway now
I'm getting a Boot verification fail message - Cause MISMATCH_SIG_LEN. Everything went 100% in LGUP, not sure what happened. Its just boot looping on startup screen (LG - powered by android screen)

Stuck after flashing the combination file

Hello,
My phone stuck after doing the following guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/how-to/guide-how-to-fix-check-drk-imei-issues-t3379516 - guide A
I've flashed the combination files, saw that the imei condition is fine and then I've flashed the original firmware and got stuck in a screen that has the following error "power reset or unknown upload mode fix".

1. Remove back cover,
2. remove screws disconnect battery,
3. connect phone to computer and
4. press & hold Power+Volume Down+Home buttons phone will boot into download mode,
5. now connect battery back
6. then write stock firmware.
Connect cable to usb, press hold power+volume up and down + home buttons phone restart 2 / 3. you will see the battery charge, hold down + power + home buttons go to download mode

Hello,
I too am having this problem and cant figure it out. I have a Galaxy J3 Achieve/SM-J337P and it's stuck. I can't go into download mode. Also, where can i find the stock firmware for this model? It's a rare one to find. I can't find it anywhere. Can I flash with another J3 model's stock firmware?
Thank you,
Please Help!

Was this ever resolved?
I was able to boot into download mode using Miracle crack 2.58. From there I flashed the stock firmware and phone booted up no problem
Thanks all. I finally did it. Sorry for the late reply
