Hey, I've had my S4 for a long time now.
I'm currently running foxhoundrom, but the wierd thing is it was happening when I was using a google rom aswell.
I am using the S-View cover if that could have something to do with it..
It just all of the sudden fast reboots..

Im gettting this weird issue with DK28 rebooting after 3 very shot vibrates...Seems to occur in moment ove heavy texting maybe while connect to a computer. Anyone else getting this? Im running TrulyEpic v2.06.12.10
Do you have the AOSP lock screen? There was an issue with that, and I stopped having the problem after upgrading to the newest version...
Also make sure you haven't removed the DRM apks.

New I9505 user here.. Still getting used to it before I do anything. I just wanna ask if there is any known issue on our unit? Overheating, Crashing camera app etc? If there is one is there anything we can about it? like overheating, I know using a Bloat free ROM can help. Thanks for the response in advance
its just the over heating and its start to happen if you update or flash new rom or Stock firmware & its gone by if you charged your battery once till 100%.

i have i9500, the heating issues is gone on 4.4.2, the only bad thing in all galaxy devices is the lag, its better in 4.4.2 but still not perfect, opening contacts, phone, messages takes some time so its not as fast as it should be...

I purchased Galaxy S4 black edition 20 days ago and updated the same to lollipop. I had faced the issue described below is in kitkat version also.
The issue is identified only while using 2G(GSM only) internet connection. The issue is that, the screen falshes/blinks just for a second while using any application. If the phone is in idle state, the display turns on during this. If the keyboard is on while happening this, it just closes the keyboard. It seems like the UI is just refreshing.
Anyone out here faced an issue like this? Please suggest a solution for this!

Hi guys to cut a long story short .....
Updated to lolipop from kit kat this month.
Two issues so far:
When making a call no one can hear me when someone rings me they can hear me?
The weather widget disapears but its still there as i wiz touch it it goes into the app. Have to remove app icon then stick it back onto the screen before it shows up again.
Things I'am doing:
Hard reset using kies to back up
Freed up mem and got rid of some apps
Two new apps before this became an issue nova 4 and mortal combat (kids doing)
Kit kat worked perfectly unitl now.

Are you using stock rom or rooted one?
Stock rom problem solved the hard reset seems to have brought new life back to the device. It's on test I'll report back.
