[FTF][Xperia Z1][C6903]Global-LTE 14.1.G.1.534_1277-2880_R4A *Arabic Language Support - Xperia Z1 General

Hi Guys,
My cousin got his hands on C6903 from an online retailer in Dubai and he sent me a screenshot of his customization screen and its 1277-2880 Global LTE. He doesnt know how to create an FTF file, I tried to help him out but no use.
Can anybody try to change his customization in build.prop and try to download this Global LTE version? I tried it already but my build.prop doesnt update after a reboot for some reason
UPDATE 1:
Managed to successfully download this version from SUS. Its supports Arabic and Farsi languages
I am currently uploading the ftf file, will update this thread with the link once its complete
UPDATE 2:
Link is up!

This is the tool to flash that FTF, link: http://www.flashtool.net/download.php
All information how to do it they are here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2439328
I give you just few tips: Turn off your phone, keep pushing volume down and connect to PC, let Windows install the drivers, hold all the time volume down, open Flashtool, put first the FTF in folder of the flashtool, click on flash in flashtool, select the right FTF, click wipe data, cahe, appslog and uncheck everything else. Flash, when you see the first percent of the progress on green bar you can leave the button volume down. This will wipe all your data on the phone.

Perfect

Another Story, to flash the file which you downloaded today you have to use Flashtool and the phone have to be in Flashmode (Volume Down + Connect USB to PC, remember?). The language is implemented in that FTF so when you will turn on your phone the first screen will be of the language you want to use and there will be the Arabic. Like on the pictures posted by OP in first post.

Great

[TUTORIAL]How to repair your Arc

I opened this thread collecting all the necessary information found on XDA
to make the search for the best tools to use, without having to search many threads, post etc.etc.,
I myself had many problems with my Arc after trying the root of my device ..... I'm crazy for two days to read and find solutions ..I'm newbie on Android
of course I also thank the help of many people who sent me this ...
all you will find in this thread, it is not my material, but as mentioned, are guides found on xda
That said, if you have problems of stuck your Arc after making changes as root etc.etc. here's what you should do:
(Original guide for use Flashtool)
1. Download FlashTool Beta Version 0.2.9.1 here: Original Thread
2. Download ROM for your Arc(File .TFT):make sure you have the correct ROM for your model
3. Open the folder you extracted FlashTool to and place the ROM in the "firmware" folder.
4. Open "X10FlashTool.exe" and click the FLASH button.
5. The Arc firmware you put in the "firmware" folder should show up and be selected. Click OK.
6. Now just follow the on screen instructions and it will do the rest for you.
That's all
N.B:
List ROM .TFT:
LT15i_3.0.A.2.181_Global_Customized.tft
LT15i_3.0.A.2.184_Generic_UK.ftf
for other ROM, we will try to update the thread
I hope this thread will be useful ...
If the moderators feel are unnecessary, they can delete it without problems
Any chance of anyone posting standard software here so we have something to back to if needed? I'm still looking for the standard UK Orange branded software.
Cheers
Dazza

erm....flashtool did not detect rom in the firmware folder
may be because you didn't extract it. file must be .ftf .....not zip or other!

Updating to 2.3.4 firmware - if you don't want to root

HI
This is Just for People who want to flash 2.3.4 firmware or any other firmware but don't want to root their phones like me.
Again All Posts are within XDA and Due Thanks to the OP's and DEVS
I'll Try to be as informative and clear as possible ( Its more for the newbies )
First off all it has been stated this 2.3.4 is leaked and not official
So lets Begin
1. Install latest Kies of samsung > connect your phone and make sure all drivers are Installed and your phones is recognised in Kies > Backup if you wanna
2. Close Kies ( make sure its not running in the system tray) > Install ODIN
Get Odin v1.85 from here: http://www.multiupload.com/1RTGSE061G
Just extract Odin folder and keep the odin3.ini file in it.
How to USE ODIN in SECOND POST
3. Download your 2.3.4 Firmware ( or any other firmware you wish to flash)
a) Download Link Stock XXKG1 : http://www.multiupload.com/2EMBQMYF4V (via ficeto) or If you can find other links
and Extract It > you should have four files:
b) CODE_I9100XXKG1_CL349526_REV02_user_low_ship (goes into PDA section)
GT-I9100-CSC-MULTI-OXAKG1 (Goes into CSC section)
MODEM_I9100XXKG1_REV_02_CL1034110 (Goes into Phone section)
u1_02_20110310_emmc_EXT4.pit (not required)
4. Open ODIN and put the files in the respective TABS > Do not change (tick or untick any other boxes) read the second post by intratech
5. Put phone in Download Mode
a) DOWNLOAD MODE - Volume Down + Home Button + Power Button
b) Volume Up to get into Download Mode
c) Connect phone and wait till First Box in ODIN turns Green
d) Click Start and wait till phone flashes and Reboots automatically ( can take up to 15 mins)
e) Once phone reboots you are Done you can close ODIN
ORIGINAL POSTS, OFFICIAL FIRMWARES and CARRIER FIRMWARES HERE
Thanks to - INTRATECH,TANMAY,FICETO and the DEVS CONCERNED
PS : If I have missed out anything let me Know and I will update
INTRATECHS GUIDE TO FLASHING WITH ODIN - Scroll Down to see the screen shots in HIS POST
Flashing Firmware with Odin
1. Just download the firmware version you want from above and extract the .tar file in the archive and save it somewhere
2. Reboot your phone to download mode.
To get download mode shut down the device. After it shuts off completely simultaneously press the Down volume key+ Home button + press the power button .
You should see a warning asking you to press volume up if you want to continue or volume down to cancel, press volume up. You are now in download mode!
3. Start Odin
4. Click on the PDA button and browse to the .tar file that you extracted in step 1
If the package has more than one .tar archive then they will be labelled with PDA, Phone/Modem and CSC. Just put them in the corresponding section of Odin
5. DO NOT PUT .PIT FILE AND DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT TICK REPARTITION.
Anyone ask about .pit file is a moron
Should look like this screenshot
http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/5705/odinm.jpg
If the package has 3 files it should look like this:
http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/8290/odinxm.jpg
Regardless of firmware version it's still the same methodology
6. Connect the USB cable and wait for the ID:COM section to turn yellow
7. Click start to flash
8. Do not disconnect the cable or turn off the device, it will reboot when it finishes.
It will not wipe your phone if you flash as recommended
Will I loose all my data and programs?
let me be the first to thank you
i am coming from iphone4 so all these terms and apps are new to me, and while i can use the search function a lot of times it takes several pages of read-thru to piece together what you have put in 1 concise post
btw i love the SG2 and android platform, steve jobs can toss my salad
If you flash any 2.3.3 you don't seem to loose any data... but yeah updating to 2.3.4 you do loose data and programs.
I didn't have many programs, but market restored most of them from me, and good to backup first.
Also kies gives me that I can't update firmware maybe cause its the latest one and it don't recognise the firmware.
Please be aware this is a leaked version, so if you want you could wait for the official one, I so far had no problems whatsoever
Just one noob question, SII being my first android phone, i assume that in order not to lose warranty you still have to use USB jig to reset rom counter if something bad happens, right ?

If you are using stock kernel there is no counting in custom binary,so no problem with your warranty. You can check your counter if you go to download mode.By the way usb jig is always usefull.

Is it possible to use another CSC from older stock releases together with this? ie, flashing this, and then after that flashing the multi CSC "MultiCSC OXXKF1" for instance? The reason im asking is that ppl have reported this rom to not include the nordic keyboard's for swype etc, and thats sort of a gamebreaker for me.

There is one thing I don't understand how to do. Before I flash my firmware with the new 2.3.4 version, I would like to take a copy of my existing firmware from my phone first and save it to my PC. So that I have the option of putting my phone back to how it was if for some reason I want to revert my phone. I understand that I would need to buy a jig to reset the update counter.
So is it possible to save my existing firmware to my PC first?
I did try looking at the download page but there were so many different countries and carrier versions that I found it confusing. I am stock KF3 uk unbranded O2 still running 2.3.3
Thanks
Thank you tfn. Great instructions, I am loving the new update.

[Help]Bricked Xperia Play 800i DE

Hello,
I just wanna ask you guys on how to un-brick my SE Xperia Play, i unlocked my bootloader using the SE tutorial and i wanna know if i "Re-lock" the bootloader, will the SE Companion fix this ? I used the Flashtool to install a rom on the phone but during the flash the program got stuck at 34% for about 2 hours and then my laptop battery died, do you think i can fix this ? When i power on the phone i see the "Sony Ericsson" and after that a little icon with a phone and a ! sign, then the phone goes off.
Thanks!

If you have not download and installed Flashtool to your PC here is the site:
http://androxyde.github.com/index.html?1357833651000
Find your ftf file for your device and use flashtool to flash it to your phone, once its done you should be golden and have a working device again.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1589399
Make sure to save the ftf file int the flashtool folder and I would recommend extracting the and installing the flashtool file to your desktop or someplace easy to find....
If you got more questions .....yeah leave them here... Good Luck

As my current device is CDMA, I cant say for certain but, someone correct me if I am wrong, you should be able to flash any ftf... just realize that if you flash say Hong Kong you will not have German language, you will have obviously Cantonese, Mandarin, English......
Let me take a look:
Edit:
OK, so if I were you I would take a look at the following:
From johnnzey
R800i - 4.0.2.A.0.62
From Xperia4life
R800i 4.0.2.A.0.42 Generic UK and this mirror for it
I would say either of those two should be good (taken from the FTF link I posted earlier) Then again I like to experiment so I would probably go with different FTF files just to mess with stuff.
In regards to the .69.. looks like its the same as .62. So its up to you. Actually if I were you I would probably just flash my device with the R800i 4.0.2.A.0.62, just to at least get your device back in working order.
Also if you are having issues getting the fastboot drivers to work on your computer you can download the unlock tool from Wotan Server and it installs all the files, at least I have been told it will.
Wotan Server Download Link:

Awesome, good to know you saved your PLAY. Generally if you are updating and it fails, flashtool and fastboot are your best friend. On a side note I would keep the flashtool files, FTF file copied to a seperate place for emergencies.. I leave my stuff on box.com (Xperia play users get 50gb free) or my D-H.st account.

Here is a full tutorial for how to flash a rom with Odin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6VmIfXPWgs. Here is the link to the Dutch PHN NE2 (unbranded) rom https://drive.google.com/uc?id=0B6Ufgy16r712ODRMRFhheGZMZEk&export=download. Good luck mate
BTW: make sure to remove the battery first, wait 10-20 seconds, reinsert it and go into downloadmode and flash the rom with Odin 3.09.

Flashing a UK or German DBT rom shouldn`t be a problem. I flashed the German DBT cause they are updated quicker and more frequent then the Dutch firmware. I cannot post you the link because its not allowed but look for Firmwares on Sammobile.com and look for the SM-G900F German DBT rom.
IMPORTANT: disable Kies in windows task manager before you flash with Odin !!!!!
still fail
it failed again i dont know what im doing wrong.
Are you able to help me by using teamviewer so you can check if i did any wrong?
After downloading i extract the file into a map that i created on desktop.
Then i choose the file by pressing AP at odin then wait and start.
İs there any other option?

- Do you use a usb 2 or 3 cable? Usb 3 can be a problem sometimes as i read.
- Have you terminated Kies in windows task manager?
- Do you have the correct usb drivers installed? Does IDCOM light up and show you an COMx number if you connect the phone to the pc in the left upper corner of Odin?
it shows COM3 and its blue is that ok?

I loaded the unlocked image from fullandroid. The flash tool said it was successful. But now it won't power on
which firmware version did you try? just try to flash it again, the rufus branded firmware is available in this post: https://discourse.fullandroidwatch....guring-out-the-right-firmware-to-use/61332/13

This is the one I used. Version 4. Do I need to format and download or download only?
firmware upgrade is what you should choose. With format all + download you will loose your imei and some other important stuff
Ok. I did download only the first time
I got it to flash . I had to wait for the battery to die, but after that I am good. still don't like the RC stuff so i think i am going to go with Ticwris.
Thanks for all the help @Noidremained
I tried to flash the ZIP file from where Noidremained suggested but when I try to install it with the UI, it loaded into recovery and said: file corrupted.
How can I flash it with SPTool if I don't have a USB connection to it?
@talwinter you may want to start here: https://discourse.fullandroidwatch.org/t/lem-t-reviews-and-faqs/50030
I now flashed it with SP Tool but when I boot up the device, it's show me stripes and i can't press anything.
Seems like something is happening but I can't see much of anything

My only problem now is that I see everything with vertical stripes ... looks bad. and everything is black and white.
Can it be that I did something to the screen when I flashed wrongly maybe? can it be?
I can flash Ticwris v1.0 rom: TICWRIS_MAX_V1.0_20200921W_20200922_011504
I see it Ok, but I still see the stripes
