Hi I recently rooted my LG Optimus L7 unlock bootloader and install custom recovery, I tried to install Cyanogenmod 10 rom which I got from the official website but when I flash it via Clockwork mod recovery it keep saying (status 7) "installation aborted" can anyone tell me what I did wrong? any help would be appreciated thanx.
Seems like wrong cwm or u must go to stock them try again everything

Because can be the file that its corrupted (CM "as you said)

I tested the bootloader and the CWM for L5 and it is working. Now we need a rom. FOR E615 cause i tested almost all roms in the L5 thread and no one works. Anyone knows a rom?

I have E615 official V10 D firmware installed. Can I go ahead with bootloader unlock and CWM installation with this Firmware? Any random booting issue after doing bootloader unlock and CWM like mentioned in e610 thread by a a few members for which V10B unofficial firmware by Chacha_Ivanov has been used to fix the issue ??

-can i install the new cm10 on jelly bean 4.1.2 or i must downgrade to 4.0.3?
-if mod of stock v20c V2 kdz file contains unlocked bootloader and recovery and is it safe like upgrading to the original 4.1.2 via KDZ ?

You will need to downgrade to 4.0.3 or you will have problem with your sim signal or if you try to install after baseband you will have randon reboot/ bootloop.
So, downgrade to 4.0.3 , install cm10 and if need, install v10baseband, there will be no problem.

O , and a very good tip for you, install CM 10 v20130414 which have autorotate working and after the last version. [ i think is 20130526 or something like this]. Just flash this 414 CM 10 version and after from Meniu-Setting-About Phone-CM update, download and update the last version.

Hi. I was in the same situation you are when approaching this subject.
I advise you to do the following:
Update the stock ROM to the last version v20 (4.1.2) - you can do this by plugin your phone to the computer and following the LG guides.
Root, and install Clockworkmod -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2230679
Feel free to flash custom ROMs with the simplicity of the Clockworkmod.
Need to go back to the original ROM? No problem, just flash it via KDZupdater -> (a list of stock ROMS) http://lg-phone-firmware.com/firmware-Lg+Optimus+L5-Tutti-12.html
I've done this (using the guide I pointed out) and it worked pretty well.

For the P700 Rom i put the link for example, i don't think you can install this rom on your phone...
And if you install CWM, you can backup your rom with it!
