Hello, I have been working on a custom recovery and I borked my device. If someone could send me the stock recovery or custom recovery for the SM-N900 I would appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

I recently flashed the stock rooted 4.1.2 update via twrp. Coming from clean ROM, does anyone know where I could find a flashable zip to add an extended power menu to the stock ROM? Mostly Interested In Being able to boot into recovery easier. Thanks in advance.

Hi. I was on a plane last night after the longest week ever on a trip.
I have a perfectly functioning nexus 10. I downloaded a flashable zip of clockwork touch recovery instead of the non touch one I was using.
Stupidly I flashed it and rebooted and ever since I get the gallery error of now external storage. Google play doesn't work either.
In setting the nexus knows I have 13gb available and I get no error messages when I boot into recovery.
A pain in the butt for sure and I am not sure how to undo my stupidity.

I tried reflashing. I tried fastboot -w. I tried a few other things but to no avail.
I'd prefer to just blast the entire partition structure and start over

So far no luck. I've relocked and unlocked. Changed recoveries. Installed ROM after ROM and still same error. I'm completely at a loss

Did you try fix permissions in recovery?It's worth a shot.
I dunno why flashing any version of CWM would cause this though.
I did yes sir. I tried 100 million things. In the storage section of settongs the tablet knew it was a 16gb. But just wouldn't let it be mountable or usable.

I am having the same issue, not able to access Google play or the internal storage even after reinstalling to factory image many times. Have you got it resolved from Samsung. Please update
Hi. Sorry for the delay.
Sadly I contacted Samsung about it and it was officially broken. Happily Samsung repaired it under warranty for me. It was the motherboard that died.

Folks, what's your experience with using encryption and CWM recovery along with Cyanogenmod ? I came across different conflicting reports with regards to issues with being able to use recovery after encryption.

Apologies if I didnt find it after searching but:
I was looking to get stock recovery back onto the S4. I know I can Odin back to stock but being that my phone is already set up it would be nice to just flash stock back and be happy

I used to be on stock recovery rooted and was able to update ota while keeping root with ota rootkeeper... And stock recovery

Every rot method I've seen requires installing a custom recovery. Either twrp or cwm.

It's possible to extract the stock recovery from the Odin image and flash it independently. Check it out in this post. Be warned that it's only for AT&T S4's and it's possible to brick your device pretty badly if you flash the recovery to the wrong place.

yes, you will have to use the odin, and then root again. unless you're running a custom rom, then you will have to full wipe your device.
I have a doubt about changing kernels in Nexus 7 .
It is that after flashing the kernel and when I go to settings\about device ,I see that the kernel hasn't changed.
Any reply would be appreciated.?????

What kernel are you trying to flash? And more importantly can you confirm that your bootloader is unlocked and that you are using a custom recovery?
I tried around 5 kernels which works with Nexus7 2012 Wifi. Yes I unlocked the boot loader and have clockwork mod recovery.
