I am using android kitchen from some days whenever i tried to flash prepared rom it gives me status 0 error i tried using other update binaries and scripts but still same.... any help!!!!!

try using script from original rom zip
no stock rom available as its a mtk device....

cheers not sure how to do that really im using the dsixda kitchen so but ive just put ther new kernal in the boot img i think its just guna b a thing where i gotta figure it out with keep tryin lol

Look for heineken's i780 ROM thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=599652) in Upgrading section. He has stock and modified updater to official 6.1 ROM.
You can also search for Mirage Updater, that should turn out a lot of hits here. hth

i knw to flash Android's all version using Mangldr and Radio... but i dint try the WP7 using this tool... here in this forum i dint find the various messages on how to install this WP7 Rom on hD2... i know all the above folks knw how to install.. pls give me the link to provide me the basic installation explaination...

maybe you need to repartition your sdcard,
repartition it to fat32 and try again,
it maybe a r/w error
Update ur firmware to latest
N ur problem will b solved

earlier it was RAW i changed to FAT32(without quick format)

it said 'no updates found' and i also found my firmware is latest(using kies)

hmm,
try inserting other SD cards to your phone,
next option would be to reflash via odin
Maybe you must update your firmware via odin here

most of u all knw that kernel controls the hardware via software...
i just flashd my stock kernel to custom kernel(Merruk 2.0)

So I've seen many posts about porting android from other devices to this mobile , and 2 of them use SD-card boot using haret and some other files.
My question is , how do they create their own boot from SD ROM? I know this is the wrong section but I'm desperate , I'm trying to keep my winmo and have ICS at the same time , any help appreciated.

I'm Sorry, I don't know how to create or doing that.
I'm busy to make changes in NAND ROM bugs, WinMo has became useless and out dated from Microsoft totally.
please make sure that you post in general Q.

so I found the system.ext2 from the CM7.2 and replaced the files inside with the files from your ROM 9.1 , (I copied the files from the folder system).
My question is , does any initrd.gz and any zKernel work? Or everyone is different? (this is basic android and not basic SD , so please help!)

zImage is the kernel, so you can't do cm7 kernel with cm9 kernel.

so is there anyway to convert your CM9's Kernel to a zImage? Or where can I find it?Because I'm trying to keep my WinMo and make my own Boot From SD CM9.

EDIT: How about extracting the zImage from your boot.img and then using it ....I believe it should work , or I must use some more editing?
