This FTF is created by using Flashtool with files from PCC.
This is for the 32 GB Wifi version, Flash with flashtool.
The usual applies, I am not responsible if using this causes the world to end. Use at your own risk.
'simlock.ta' and 'preset1.ta' are excluded.

Those of you with carrier branded Xperia X10 handsets fret no more. Some of the clever folks over at esato have figured out how to unbrand the handset. These instructions will debrand your Xperia X10 handset to Generic UK firmware.
1) Download this file from "http://rapidshare.com/files/375895233/SE_x10.rar" (130MB). The zip contains two files (a +110MB one and 16MB one).
2) Delete contents of db folder (C: --> Program Files --> Sony Ericsson --> Update Service --> db).
3) Run the Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS) to update your Xperia X10
4) Go to C: --> Program Files --> Sony Ericsson --> Update Service --> db --> 13740270 --> blob_fs.
5) Sort files by date in descending order (latest date at top). The two files at the top will be +100MB and one around 15MB.
6) Now find the two downloaded files. Rename the largest file with the same name as the top one in blob_fs. Do the same with the second. Move these downloaded files into the blob_fs folder, overwriting the original files.
7) Run the Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS) again.
8) Voila! Your Xperia X10 is unbranded.
Sorry, but what does mean unbraded ?
Because I buy my x10 in a orange shop (I live in France) and I don't have facebook in timescape T_T.

at last..i already got my file...thanks for the link....i also already extract the file and i saw a lot a cab file..i saw some file like SpbMobileShell_vulcan3.arm.cab. My question is....what is vulcan? how do i know my phone is vulcan or not?

xperia x2 was in the first(in development stage)known as vulcan.

if you are on mr2 then the panel would be installed but in not present in your rom ... you can install it without any problem.

it's (SpbMobileShell_vulcan3.arm.cab) different version with my original SpbMobileShell ??
no ... it is the same but this version is functioning properly in x2 unlike other versions also in this version the carousel view is disabled
i like carousel view...where can i get the original version (free)...
Attention this FTF is for C6943 also know as DTV-LTE, it has the same baseband of C6903, but it is directed to Brazilian market with Digital Television.

Hi Dear,
Is it possible to you to prepare a new FTF file where you can change the CDF file from the Brazilian one to a Generic Global? THe reason of this request is 'cause there are so many icons (demo games) that aren't cool to have and I can't uninstall, except if I root the phone (which is not able yet ). Thanks a lot ! :good:

The .sin files that are inside the FTF are signed, there are no way to add/remove content to system.sin (in this case). This can be done only with root or recovery (in form of a flashable zip).
So I cannot use this on my C6903 in England, or can I?

I flashed a C6903 FTF on my C6943 without issues sometime ago, the opposite should be true.
But It's better to use a C6903 FTF, C6903 and C6943 are very similar, they even have the same LTE bands, the only noticeable difference will be the local Brazilian Apps and Digital TV (which won't work because C6903 doesn't have DTV, I think the DTV App will force close or won't find any channels when doing channel search).

I attached you the screenshot of the status bar that show "wifi" and "3G" conection on C6943 version, always when i use wifi this happen, how can change that?, i mean only show me wifi and not both conections ... is posible?, im from argentina and here is the C6943 version too

This is a normal behavior.
I don't know how to change this, maybe with some sort of xposed module, my knowledge in this area isn't so good.

Hi, please find attached the Stock ROM FTF for the Vodafone DE branded .757 Version...
The File is created with flashtool and includes everything but the .ta files (including loader.sin)

I used this guide: Download ANY firmware customization from Sony & create an FTF with Flashtool
There it is descibed to not include .ta files. I read another guide where is suggested to not include loader.sin...
As I have all files on my disk I can provide all different versions...But I'm not sure wich one is the best...

I have made ftf with ta and loader.sin file and flashed with flashtool and no problem at all...

make ftf using SUS and flashtool.. and then flash it or u can also flash some other ftf files too.. u will get it if u use search function..
Hi, Thanks for the Help, but I guess the Flashtool at the PC I tried it yesterday is messed up,
because flashing the Vodafone ftf from this Thread worked on a different PC. After that I was able to relock the bootloader,

The parts need to be renamed, as the text of the links, and the ".001" files need to be merged with HJSplit.
I've really no idea what changed, just sharing for anyone interested.
10x i merge files to have ftf, it work fine cam is better no problem in opening and no lag
I have no clue to what to do with the 3 first files. And my final merged file isnt working.
or you could just download 290 sfr france firmware and install and update through pcc done all good regards, to much messing around with all them files lol, thats what i did,
Oh, now I get it. We must decrypt the final bin file using Flashtool to create the FTF.

I edited the post with the links' text replaced with the filename they must be for them to be recognized by Flashtool's "SEUS Decrypt" wizard.
Once renamed, and once you merge the ".001" with ".002", etc, you'll eventually have 4 files.
