Hi ... this is the forum for App development related queries ... This forum is not for ROM-related queries like porting CM, MIUI, AOKP, PA etc etc (or) Problems with scripts like Link2SD, Mounts2SD.... Please post your query in the proper forum ... Thank You !
But anyway ... It is not recommended to use your mobile with UOT kitchen (as that site is not mobile friendly) .. But Upload should work.. Make sure you have a file manager installed ... ( Solid Explorer, Root Explorer, ES File explorer prefered )

[Q] Looking for ICS P6810 battery percentage mod!

I'm looking for a percentage mod for latest P6810 official rom.
Anybody can help to teach me how can i do it, or give me a link for an easy how-to-guide?
EDIT:
Found the solution
Using http://uot.dakra.lt can create the mod!
Only need the SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk.
After the cook complete you can flash the created .zip via CWM or you can extract the two files (systemui and framwork-res) and copy them to your device.

Thanks!
After i've created this topic i've found that
Edit:
I've checked again the UOT and it works...
I've uploaded the framework-res and the systemui apk without the twframework-res... After the cook i've just extracted the systemui.apk from the created zip and copied to the system/app....

How to port a ROM's lidroid toggles and status bar to another ROM?

I want to port the lidroid toggles from Simplicity to USSRv7. How would I do this? I have the lidroid res, system ui, and framework res apks.
Sent from my GT-P3110 using xda app-developers app
Change the file extension of lidriod-res.apk to zip
Unzip lidriod-res.zip
goto res/drawable-hdpi
Copy the toggles pngs only
Past them to your unzipped res/drawable-hdpi
zip back up and change extention back to apk
put in flashable zip and flash with system mounted
I just replaced my lidroidres.apk with the one from the ROM I wanted and it worked! Thanks though

Yes just replace lidroid-res.apk to change toggles if your rom uses lidriod in its ui
Any problems just unzip the lidroid-res.apk of the toggles you want & past them into one from your rom

Framework-res
Drawable/colors
Primary_textcolor.xml
Secondard_textcolor.xml
Tertiary_textcolor.xml,
It is declared as hex codes so google the colors you want,
And also i hate to spoonfeed,
Google on how to decompile/recompile apks,
Use VTS rather than apk-multitool.
Good luck

[Help] [Pro] Need help to modify Stock Settings.apk properly

I installed all apk found under system/framework with apktool.
*framework-res.apk & another apk
Then decompiled Settings.apk of Xperia pro stock ics Rom.
After that ,without making any change I compiled the apk. Then I surprisingly noticed that the size compiled apk is 1/3 of original stock settings.apk .
Then I flashed the apk using cwm to my phone to test if it work .after flashing, the setting icon is invisible in launcher menu !
Plz anybody tech me how decompile and re compile stock settings.apk of Xperia pro properly..

I'm noob. Help me to be great like U
This is because u have to delete the xml u edited and resources.arc and then compile it. Use apk manager. Its easyy to use.

What tool do u use? For settings u edit setting_header.xml where is that present and all u must be knowing?!
After clicking on compiling apk manager asks to delete resources.arc and also the xml you edited. Then compile it should.

yes just rename framework-res.apk to framework-zip
extract it with a zip app like zarchiver
replace the pngs and only pngs on a like for like basis - same filenames - dont touch xml files or anything else
rezip
change back to .apk
put and a flashable zip and flash in cwm with system mounted or push to system with rw-r-r but flashing is better
