Any information on availability of the Pink Galaxy Note 3?
Just wondering if anyone's heard anything... I figured that since Samsung said it would release it initially with the three colors that they would all three be available, but I keep reading places where it says not to hold your breath. Of course, everyone seems to just be copying the same articles with no real new information.

I am not quite sure, but if you go to negrielectronics dot com you will see that they offer the pink color for pre orders.

has anyone used this guy before? looks like he is promoting his own website and he talks about his site in 3rd person, oh and he tries to avoid detection by writing dot com instead of hyperlink. he signs up to xda to promote own site september 2013 lol..

Negri is well known and is a trusted website.
Most people know it now after Erica (angelofmusic) mentioned and praised it in her in depth reviews.

Thanks for your trust, lol. I've been coming to this forum for years but was never a member. I am really thankful for all the great things the members have accomplished here. It just happens that I've researched the note 3 quite well and I want to help others as well. And the reason why I use the dot com format is because I am a new member and couldn't post links then.

I honestly have no clue, I merely pointed out that some store its offering the pink version, I have never ordered anything from negrielectronics.com, Amazon will probably offer the pink version eventually, and they do shop internationally. But maybe by then it will already be available where you are.

Negri is not mine
I wish it was, but I have no clue who it belongs to
I was mainly trying to see if there was information on carrier availability in the US....
It's not an option for Verizon to buy a carrier unlocked version since it also runs on CDMA bands.

handtec is more expensive because of the VAT. But keep in mind that if you are importing the device (not to some specific European countries) you do not pay the VAT( which is 20% of the original price) so the price drops from $941 (with VAT) to $784(excluding international shipping). All in all, you'll end up paying the same price as negri.
As for specs, the handtec note 3 will most likely not work with t-mobile's network. Usually European devices work on AT&T's 3G band and not T-mobile's. Also, 4G will most likely not work with AT&T as well unless the rumors about the Note 3 ,with the Qulacomm snapdragon 800 processor, being able to work with all 4G bands turn out to be true.

No such list exists. However if you go to individual region specific samsung websites (found http://www.samsung.com/pr), you can generally get an idea if the region has it...
Basically any market that uses the international version (N9005 & N900) CAN have it... as of right now.
EX:

You can't. That's a telco site, only sells locally with telco contract.

Yup, and at this point of time, only this telco has the tie-up with Samsung. Very similar when the Iphone is launched in SNG.
P/S: Our government doesn't encourage exclusive tie-ups on a permanent basis, which is why Iphone was later sold on the other 2 telcos as well.
P/P/S: I don't even know if this is the 16gb or the 8gb model, but then again it comes with 2 free gifts - 1 pair of "Super Junior" concert tickets and a table stand, whatever that is.
Super Junior is a all boy band from korea. I have seen people paying good money just to go to the concert.
I've checked the phone out yesterday. The screen is just awesome but i noticed that the Google Voice Search function is not available in the phone I've tested. There is no mic icon beside the google search box.
It would be a bummer if they have decided to not include the function. Anyone knows if the function has been omitted out in the retail set or that it is only on the set that I've tested on.

To add on, we have rules that doesn't allow SIM locks on phones, so it can be used with any operator. Expect to see many sets sold on the local market as all the girls ditch the sets because they're just interested in seeing Super Junior.
I'm not so sure about the tie-ups, phones like Milestone is still exclusive to SH after so long, as the Cliq and Backflip are exclusive to ST...of course, without sim locks, it really doesn't matter much unless u really want the telco subsidy.
It's the 16gb model. Brochures and launch party states it's only 16gb model sold in SG.

My brother has a Desire and when he loads Google Maps there's no voice search yet I have it on my WM HD2.

I think they have included it, because I have read that it is pretty accurate on this phone (somewhere...)*.
The new vlingo is pretty neat, though, and looks to be a lot more accurate than the standard Google voice stuff!

Thanks for the links. Yeah I've read the review on GSMarena before testing the phone. That was why I was surprised to not see the microphone icon beside the google search box. Anyway I believe some of the early birds will be receiving their phones tomorrow. Hopefully they can review the phone and maybe confirm any rumours.

The google voice search was'nt on my X10 but you should be able to download it from the Android Market "Google Search By Voice".

Interesting and possible they got some of the Ones released in Germany (Their physical address on the site says "Warsaw, Poland"). I'd have to check on them before I bought anything since I've never heard of them.

I also noticed they have new insurance plans that are fairly cheap. I was getting a 404 error yesterday but hopefully the kinks are worked out. It's good for accidents and drop protection.

Some store's will sell it to you without having service and some will not. If you have no other store's in your area try going with a friend who does have service. I myself ordered from Negri.

Whats better to get ? From t mobile or negri? Or pretty much the same? Are prices the same? So if I go to a t mo store and buy full price they will unlock it for me? As in sim unlock right? Will they charge for that?
I notice that negri has them already unlocked.. sim that is.. if thats what it is..

If you need the phone like yesterday then go to the T-Mobile store. If you can wait a little bit by far Negri is cheaper. There is no tax and it is already SIM unlocked. It looks like T-mobile is asking you to wait 30 days before they SIM unlock it.

Looks like negri ill be getting.. so once get my note 3 from negri all I have to do is slap my att sim and set up apn and it will work? I must have my root... dont they have developer versions come out later for each carrier or something ?

There could be a developer edition sometime in the future. I very highly doubt a google play edition because the Note 3 is focused to much around the S-Pen and the features it has in touchwiz. Stock android does not have those custom features.

I got an email from the sales department confirming the 10/10 date as well but as this guy said, the price has now gone up to $729, for $30 price diff, might as well purchase from TMO, I read these is a tool you can DL for $2.79 that will unlock the phone so that I can use with AT&T service.

Not sure if anyone else has seen this update yet, but I got it this morning. Unfortunately I thought it would be an old update and I'd see some posts on it, but a search turned up nothing.
My unlocked 920I got it. It was around 150mb and keeps the phone at 5.0.2. Build number is: LRX22G.G920IDVU1AOD3
So maybe it's old and I just happened to get it this morning, but from what I remember it was mostly about stability enhancements...but that seems like a pretty big update for stability. Hopefully someone else can grab a screen shot of the change log. The only issue I had with mine was the occasional random reboot (about once every two days)...and if this update solves it (stability issues ftw), then all good w/ me.
Anyone else get it yet on an unlocked S6?

Mine auto-updated. As I mentioned, didn't pay much attention to the changelog and I use Nova so not sure about A-Z in the drawer.
I got it a few days ago, just said bug fixes and minor improvements. I didn't really notice anything different, but then again I've only had the phone for a few days.

I have the same device. It's CSC code is TTT meaning it is for Trinidad and Tobago.

BTW, I wonder how to get warranty service for these G920I in the US? Samsung USA won't honor the warranty, and I don't have any luck in finding an answer to this.
I'm interested in the warranty also as I bought mine from Breed. Seems like if you purchase this device from a reseller inside the US then Samsung should honor the warranty.

I just made another call to squaretrade. This time another representative told me that the 2-year plan with accident protection can be purchased for eBay sold international version of the S6 as long as proper proof of purchase is submitted. That's something nice to hear from them.
I need to thank you for this. I wouldn't make this second call to squaretrade without your reply!

So on TMobile with the free VR Headset and Controller deal, it says the entries should go on the samsung.com/us/promotions website starting on April 10th, however seems the website isnt taking them yet? Anyone seen or heard any news on this?
With them only doing what was it, 35,000 free units. Kinda wanna make sure I get my order in asap. =D

I'm a Verizon business customer that was given early access to a retail model direct from Samsung. I do alot of business with Verizon and about to do a company wide refresh. Therefore..Early access.
It's a minimum of 350,00 gifts not 35,000... So it may not be so hard to get one
