Did u flash the new bootloader and radio?
Sent using xda-developers app

All I have flashed is the update and the new supersu files I needed, what effects will flashing a new boot loader and radio have? And where can I get them?

Not many noticeable effects but it might sort out your issue.

For 4.3 custom ROMs the makoz20i bootloader is not required, but the .84 radio is required.

It's recommended to upgrade to the makoz20i bootloader to be ready for KeyLimePie.
Flash the radio and bootloader first, then flash the ROM, Gapps, and SuperSU (if not included in the ROM).

Flashable 4.4.1 modem and radio?

As thr title stated is their a flashable modem and radio for 4.4.1 kitkat?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
nope, sorry but the 4.4.1 update only provided bugfixes and some single improvements, no core updates to kernel, modem or radio
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
yes, actually there is a new radio for 4.4.1 (.98) you can refer this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2087227
Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
You can remove the radio.img from the factory image and flash it with fastboot or an app like Flashify.
FYI, modem and radio are the same thing.

I beleive you're referring to .97 radio if I'm correct. 98 just released this week together with the 4.4.1 update
