Sorry if anyone can help me gain root with ununtu as the only pc option would be appreciated. Im from australia my device is i9505 xxubmg4. I have used odin in the past but never used heimdall. Thanks to anyone who can help

So after rooting my device I decided I didnt like it, I backed it up and then went to settings and reset the device back to stock. I then restored it. For some reason the device still shows custom in stats and thus I cant check for updates. Any help is apreciated.

I have an s4 on at&t and everything I see says don't use auto root so I need a little help figuring out what I need to do. And I'm having trouble as well deciding weather I have the i9505 or i9505g. Thanks for any help it's greatly appreciated
