[Q] i9505 How I can change rom from XEF to XEO - help needed - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I Can't change rom version on my I9505.
I bought my s4 with French rom.
PDA:MGA / PHONE:MGA / CSC:MG3 (XEF)
I want change it to (XEO) rom but after flashing with Odin 3.07 and rom from sammobile.com on the phone is still old rom.
I flash new Rom follow steps:
1. Download rom from sammobile.com for my phone and my country
I9505XXUBMGA_I9505OXXBMG3_XEO.zip (newest)
2. Extracted md5 from zip.
I9505XXUBMGA_I9505OXXBMG3_I9505XXUBMGA_HOME.tar.md5
3. Power off phone and start on "downloading mode"
Vol down+home+power -->> confirm vol up -->> green android robo and "Downloading" description
4. Launch Odin with admin right etc,
5. Connect phone to Pc via usb. "added" and port in Odin is ok.
6. PDA + file.tar.md5 added (checking file ok.)
7. Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time checked.
8. Start / rom is flashing ( I saw progress on phone screen ) done! (pass message on the Odin etc.)
9. After rebot rom is the like was before flashing !!!
What was wrong? Any ideas?

What is your original region (CSC)? Try to reflash the original modem.
- Install Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app.
- Scroll down to the CSC INFO section to see what is the original CSC
- Open Menu > Firmware Browser, enter original CSC and tap Go button to search for the stock firmware.
- Download firmware, extract and and modem.bin + NON-HLOS.BIN file. Here is how to flash the modem:
Code:
• Switch off your device completely.
• Connect to PC and power on your phone in Download Mode (Volume Down + Home + Power).
• Start Odin v3.09 (be sure it recognised your phone and show ID:COM port number).
• Untick Auto Reboot.
• Flash MODEM.BIN (CP slot - unzip it first).
• Reboot once again into Download Mode using Vol Down + Home + Power.
• Tick Auto Reboot and flash NON-HLOS.BIN.
• If this doesn't work, try repeating the flash process again while rebooting manually and with Auto Reboot option turned off.
Note that you may need to repeat flashing 2-3-4 times.

How to root Lollipop (5.0) Stock ROM - N9005 LTE Model

Hello ppl,
Please help me route me to the rooting my lollipop stock rom of N9005 LTE model with steps.
I've found lot of threads but most of them are not for stock rom and few of them is not clear enuf sorry to say that.
Thanks in Advance for your help.
Flash a custom recovery, TWRP.
Flash the SuperSU zip from the following link from that recovery, https://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip
Done.
There are some theads about that. I had the same question today (for me) and searched here
But, I'm answering to help you.
Since i've Stock Lollipop and LTE version (N9005) and rooted a few hours ago, here's the simpliest method I've found: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2466423
Resuming for you from that topic you only need to download this:
SM-N9005 (International Qualcomm): CF-Auto-Root-hlte-hltexx-smn9005.zip
That rar have the img file you need, and the executable ODIN too.
How to root with odin:
-First extract all rar files (to a folder for example)
-Execute ODIN
-Power your Note 3 into Download Mode (vol down , front key, and power button at the same time for 3 secs)
-Connect it to your PC (if on the phone says to confirm entering to Download Mode (vol up) do it too)
-Check in ODIN if you phone was detected (on ID:COM appear blue, or on the message log appear <ID:.....> Added!!)
-On ODIN click on PDA, choose the CF-Auto-Root-hlte-hltexx-smn9005.tar.md5 that you extracted from the rar file.
-Make sure that ONLY auto-reboot and f .reset time are checked.
-Press START.
Now If it fails because of something like Permission Denied or FAIL! (Auth) (check the ''Message'' on ODIN), you need to :
-get out of download mode (if necessary, remove the battery and put it again, and no, there's no problem with that)
-turn on your phone like normally
-go to Settings (General) - > Security, and uncheck Unknown Sources.
-Now repeat the process from the start.
If it PASS, yout phone will reboot, install SuperSU, reboot again, and work normally.
If you have a new app called SuperSU, your root is done Now you can use apps that requires root permition.
Note: this method doesn't requires a custom recovery.

You could also root by installing TWRP and then flashing supersu from twrp.
