Hi all, this is slightly based on a thread I started in Q&A but I think a dedicated one would work best.
Its pretty simple if you find any good deals on the tablet please post the necessary info for everyone to share in. I think also post specials on adapters like Qi charging pads, cases etc, things for the tab. I will start with something given to me.
If anyone doesnt know yet you can get the Nexus 7 without paying the sales tax in California and probably other amazon states by buying it from B&H photo video Nexus 7 16GB and Neuxs 7 32GB just get t delivered to your address. I dont know about other states but if anyone does know let me know and I'll edit this post
I'll be monitoring this thread closely. I am about to order one off of the Play store, but I can wait a day or two and still get it by the date I want it. If nothing pops up here in the next few days, I'll have to order one at full price

Shame dude. Theres some walkin coupons for office depot, try get a price match from best buy or something as the coupon excludes the new nexus 7 but best buy might not know that

Dang. Just checked it out and it requires you to use V.Me. I don't think I'm willing to sign up for a whole new payment service for $20. Appreciate the post though, those are the kind of things that need to be posted here.

I'll give it a shot here in the Phoenix area as well. I could only find one Officemax that had one 32GB. Yesterday there was a Staples that had one 32GB left and I had a 20% coupon (that ended yesterday), but I wussed out with all of the issues the N7 FHD is having. But today, I'm feeling it and Staples even said they would accept the Officemax coupon (your mileage may vary). Of course, they sold their last one yesterday...
You can get a $50 gc which you can apply to purchase of the tablet if your order through amazon, if you open a new credit card with them.

This did not work. I pointed out that it says it includes tablets and e-readers, but the exclusions apply includes the new Nexus 7. I'm still going to try Staples when they get some in, provided it is before the coupon expires.

Unless Costco doesn't have any presence in your state, you'll have to pay sales tax regardless of where it ships from. And they'll charge your tax based on your shipping address.

I was at the Chino Hills, CA Costco yesterday. The guy said they have the XOOM WIFI on a pallet in back already and can't bring it out until March 27th. Not sure if he was confused with 3G version or not, but that is what I was told.

Just picked up my Xoom from my local Costco warehouse. I got there when they opened. Nothing in the aisle display or on the actual box indicated that it would come with the free gel case, so I asked the person in merchandise pickup. They said I could open the box to see if it was inside it, and sure enough it was.
Our costco says free gel case on the sign and has price of 589. They had a large display with demo. Not many sold at our costco in NJ, maybe 4 or so at noon time.
I picked one up to try it out and see if it can do everything I need it to do.
The case is in the box under everything and is black. There is an insert that says thank you your free accessory is included.
Picked up the xoom wifi from my local costco store. Looks like they have plenty in stock and the free gel case comes with the box.
Staples also had in stock, but best buy was sold out. Wondering if best buy has fewer stock or they are selling really fast

Probably more people aware of going to BestBuy to pick it up, and fewer people who have a Costco membership who will actually want one of these.

Today Costco had 20-30 cards to take to the register.
Yesterday one Staples store said they would have 4 in stock today.
Today one Best Buy store said they got 2 for today.
Honestly, Best Buy having two is not surprising at all. Three of them around me have their Xoom 3G tucked away toward the back, whereas the iPad and everything Apple has its own kiosk. Obvious partnership much?

Seems to depend on the Best Buy. I got nothing when I went there, they said they stopped doing that with this phone. I will get my gift card "with the purchase of the EVO 4G LTE" as the sign states (basically, when I go pick it up). Seems some BB employees are confused. I wish mine were, haha.

1) I had the same thing when I first went on and was confused. Then I went to the link on the OP, and it pulled up an offer for a Verizon phone in an area code I was unfamiliar with. I went to "change carrier" and went to Sprint, then went to "change phone" and picked the EVO 4G LTE. I then saw it came up as $119. I thought to myself "oh, it must be area-code specific." But for fun, I then changed the area code to mine. It then popped up as $119 in my area as well. Somehow, that link is magical.
2) They ship on release day. So you can expect your phone 1 - 3 days later. Maybe 4 with the weekend...

I haven't used them before, but my order confirmation says the phone is shipping on May 18, with free 2-3 day shipping. That's close enough to release day for me. Hopefully, it'll ship even earlier, but time will tell on that one.

Defender is a higher level of protection. (built in screen protector)
Commuter is a bit more sleek, more form fitting, if you will.

Very nice! I wished it was tax free in CA. I also bought OM protection plan for 2 years. Anyone have experiences with OMs protection plan? Debating if I should cancel it. $54 off is amazing. I would jump on it before OM decides to exclude certain devices or cancels the coupon. I paid full price at Amazon the first day it went on sale (Friday). Paid $300 for Saturday delivery. Returning it and buying locally would be lucrative. I wonder if Amazon will price match if I call them. Tell them I'm within my 30 days and I can save $54 if I go through the hassle.

Yep. It's in their best interest to do so, otherwise I'd return it and then buy another for the matched price. They don't want to end up with an extra used device that can't be sold new.

But are you saying if they did give a refund from a price match after sale....and you used a gift card for part or all of the purchase.....you only get $10 back?
I also thought the salesman at BB told me when I was completing the sale, said "You can not return for refund, you can only return for exchange."
Of course it sort of went in one ear and out the other as I thought to myself....why would I think of returning for a full refund.

Yes, I had a $50 GC so it knocked it down from ~$300 to like $247.

I was looking if they had the buy 5+1 free offer, but saw it was gone.
But I did order the one I was waiting for.
I just ordered two more. From the mobile app I didn't see the 2-unit limit.
Most of the alternative cases which were about $9.99 have gone up to around $14.99.
just sign up for a free prime 30 day trial and you can order another 2 per account.
damn, we only had the 49 Euro's ( 51 USD ) deal in germany yesterday. Orderd mine yesterday and got it yesterday, love the new same day delivery for free.

I was able to make three purchases of two each to get 6 total. When I was submitting the third and final order, it said I had just made a similar order and did I want to continue. I told it yes and it went thru. 'Course, now I won't get em until 21st or 22nd of December, but that's OK.

If anyone is looking to get the Fire in the US, ordering it from Best Buy online for in store pickup is the best way to go. I ordered it this morning and it is already in store whereas amazon has it backordered until December 17th+. You could probably cancel your orders and buy it this way instead.

Yes. Same price. Much more convenient IMO.
UPS says mine arrives on Monday. I don't think I've ever been so excited to get a $35 gadget, haha.

Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but the price was too good to pass up.
One of mine arrived yesterday, the other should come around the 30th.
Anyway, this is a pretty good device so far. I made sure to replace the Fire OS with CM12.1 and now it really flies compared to the original Kindle Fire. At first I was concerned with the resolution, but now I'm fine with it not being 720P. I mean for $35 I can't really have it all.
Also I would suggest using the Supertool posted in the index.
