How should i post the Bug?
There is format for reporting the bugs! You should include these in you Bug report! If you didn't follow this style possibly i can't fix this problem
Code:
Device Name=GT-I9082 or GT-I9082L
What problem is it?=Reboot,a force close,or white screen! (Just take a logcat and attach it here)
Where did u faced this problem?=Name of application settings etc!
Logcat(Must) If not logcat how can i emulate the problem?
logcat is must please give a proper logcat before telling anything so that i can track the bug and release a update!

Hi Bro Rom is awesome..super fast...But few things which i have noticed are
In the lockscreen recent app screen button is not showing up i don't know it is bug or what
LBE guard is always gives the error that LBE guard has stopped
When i try to send a message the network goes and returns and the message is not send
Icons r not fitted correctly..
Back and menu buttons are not lighting..But they r working fine...
These r the things which i have noticed hope u have understand...Is this possible to get rid of on screen buttons....
Bro due to on screen buttons every thing is messed up apps,icons
I hope u will fix bugs in next UPDATE
I cant pass the pin number screen, dont show accept or enter button

lockscreen
no lockscreen settings and no lockscreen?
I have 2major bugs with this ROM
1.can't read SD card
2.while sending SMS the network disappears for some time thus unable to send sms

for sdcard wont read use this link and it will be fix
but the phone not only blocks out the light.
Message bug

Hi!
I just noticed that when the screen is locked and you double tap the home butten, the voice control will start. Then you are able to just go to your homescreen. Is this happening on your sgs2's too?

Yep same here using KE7 XEU (stock version) and default lock screen.
Double hit home button while in lockscreen and when voice control starts just tap cancle and viola youre on home screen.
But it doesnt happen when you active pattern or number lock.. so its not really a security issue =)

Why does everyone have to put FIVE ALARM FIRE!!! titles in their not so significant posts. If the phone doesn't have lock enabled this is a convenience feature not a security problem.

Then friggin turn off Voice Talk so its not running in the background and turn it back on when you need it. If you need more help, post in Villian's thread in the development forum. No offense, but this isn't front page news.

Im on a stock KE2 firmware and this doesnt happen for me, it stays on the lock screen (have the alphanummeric lockscreen set).

I mean seriously, do you even read any of the posts before replying?
1) OP said he's running a Villain ROM which means he's rooted and modded.
2) Another poster running Villain can't replicate the problem.
3) No one other than the OP (and I'm assuming even you) can replicate the problem.
4) Who knows what the OP might be running app wise that might be triggering the issue on his phone.
I know I'm not a mod but these little "crisis" posts that start out as embers end up being raging fires. Maybe its because of all the different languages spoken. By all means, if anyone running a stock ROM can replicate this report back. It would indeed then be an issue worthy of the front page and the title "Security Flaw in our phones."
Just to add - I'm using litening 1.1, and I have an enforced exchange PIN.
Double clicking the home button will not get past the password entry screen.
Believe me, I've tried all ROMs and various apps to get around the password, still haven't found one yet.
so ive pm'd TDJ about this issue and since i cannot post on the actual thread yet, i thought id try here. he said he has seen the problem but has not experienced it himself therefore he cannot assess the situation i think. anywho, ive been using this rom for about a week and what ive been experiencing is something with the sms inbox and sms popup. this is what i mean
so this is how it looks like if i go into my message inbox:

now if i click the first duplicate it will show our conversation

if i click the second duplicate it'll just show my friend's responses and whatever i decided to text through my message inbox

TDJ said i should add the 1 before the phone numbers to see if that works but all my contacts on google have the 1 and even hyphens. is anyone else experiencing this?
ALSO! so i did a factory reset on this rom and before i did it i was able to use a custom sound for my boot load (using the PSX boot load + PSX mp3 i ripped from youtube = epic win) now when i tried to select it again after the reset, nada. it said "failed to select sound" or something like that. should i reflash the rom?
Did you use the -wipe flag before flashing? Try that and flash again. I've had better experiences with adding the flag

I'll give it a shot! All I do is add that flag and still flash normally??
Added the flag and flashed. We'll see what happens
Update: the flag worked. Not seeing duplicate threads for a contact. Thanks!

My problem wasn't having duplicate contacts in my address book but having duplicate contacts display in my SMS inbox when I decided to respond through the popup. I fixed the problem simply by turning off the "new message pop-UPS" feature although I would still love to use it. *le sigh*

Hi, I'm using miroslav_mm SDSL 3.0 rom ad I'm having an issue with widget that use quickcontact. I'm using GO SMS Pro widget that shows the contact portrait received SMS's. When the portrait is clicked a quickcontact bar should pop up with shortcuts to call, send SMS or edit the contact but instead a pop out the following message: 'QuickContact component cannot be found in your system'. The same happens with GO Contacts widget.
Anyone knows how to get this working because on Google Play, GO SMS or even GO Contacts widgets say that this is working on Android 2.1 or later so should be working on 2.3.7...

Then it could be something related to SDSL.. did you try to reflash the rom? that could help!

Man, I'm always flashing new roms, now I'm experimenting leoposas zoe 2.0 rom, it's basically sdsl but with some tweaks of his... and when i say i'm always flashing new roms i mean backup contacts & sms, factory reset, format system+boot and then flash new rom. Basically cleanest flash is impossible
I've figured it out, quickcontacts component is embedded on contacts.apk, i'm using go contacts so i uninstalled the stock one.

a friend has the problem that sometimes he unlocks his phone, some apps are shown instead of the honescreen. He says he leaves the app via the back button, we could exclude that the apps start in the pocket. Also he shuts his phone off very rarely (right word?!? means not often).
Maybe you can help?

He says its most of the times "contacts" or similar. so important and not ad-based. I think I will tell him to download an antivirus program to check his phone and something like sdmaid.
I mean if he doesnt start the app by himself, the app either has to start by itself or by another app right?
And if nothing helps could we really say that its caused by the software and tell him to do a factory reset or restore the system?

Does anyone know what controls call logging and where it is?
All of a sudden it won't log anything!
If I miss one call I'm fine as it displays on the lock screen ... but 2 or more and I have no clue who called
Not recording out going calls or sms even .... call duration etc

Ok stand alone dialer apps like go dialer or rocket dial won't show call logs either .....
Never seen this before on any phone .... tried a restore and its the same problem
Making me more mad that I can't find the problem more than the actual problem
