Boy, the keyboard was very good!
Its an OS not a UI and besides whats the point to open a thread for something that is most likely speculation? pretty arogant really.
It's about time they updated it!

Probably it won't.
Honeycomb was never meant for a mobile nor will be. I agree that HD2 has a mammoth screen compared to most phones on market but that doesn't make it anything near a tablet.
The source code of Honeycomb was not opensourced by google for the sole reason being people will hack it onto mobiles and wreak the user experience of android, though that's silly but true to a point.
Keep your eyes open for Android Ice cream - 4.0 (most probably) since 2.4 is supposedly reserved for GB.
Honeycomb can run on our devices but not as smooth and reliable as on Tablets because it's not meant to be on the HD2. Anw, wrong Topic man you should post in the questions area!
dont know about it but please post in the Q&A section this is for developers only

[Q] Android 4.0.4 with sense 4

As I think, there was a project that shows a hope of porting Android 4 from HTC One V to HD2.
Does anybody know please if the project still alive or it was discontinued and turned off as many other projects ??
You mean this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1658936 ?
I think it's DED.

No, don't look at the last post on the thread saying that a mod closed it because the OP didn't want to continue working on it any more, that's far too logical
