I got a HTC HD2 from a friend to flash Android in it. The first error was that the RUU stopped at 96% and said failed. So I decided to do it again. Same error. Then I started Task29 and it succeeded but then I took away the battery, yes it was done, and then it's there where it is. I can't do anything. No bootloader no logo, nothing. I think it's bricked . Please help me!

This is the story:
I bricked my phone (Elf) because I didn't CID unlock it after installing the Opal 6.1 rom. So when I tried to install the backup ROM I made it got bricked. I read all the threads about how to revive the phone and I can't get any to work.
I can't do the GoldCard since I don't have a working WM phone. So I tried the Wild card unbricker ROM and the phone got worse. Now I only get to the tri color screen without any "RUU" at the top and every time I try to flash another ROM on it it shuts and I get an error message saying something like "Invalind vendor or error in image" etc... Please help me, what happend??? I cant flash any ROM. I cant do hardspl. I can't do anything.
PLEASE HELP ME! Anyone who's familiar to this problem?

I need help please my htc is stuck in bootloader!! This is the first time i was flashing my phone.... And there is not custom rom yet installed its just the process of getting hspl.. The situation was i was connceting it to hspl and when it was connecting i accidentally disconnected it! Now its stuck on bootloader!! And it wont connect to active sync!! The spl is 2.10.000 and white part of the tri coulor saids usb. Now can someone please help me!!! I really like the phone and im trying not to lose it!! Please tell me if my phone is broken or not.. And if it isnt please let me know how i can fix it!!! Please need quick response!! I CANNOT ACCESS MY PHONE AT ALL ITS JUST IN BOOTLOADER!
... uhm i tried to flash it with stock rom..... using 2.13 stock rom.. and i went through the whole process. my phone went through the htc loading thing... and btw my phone cannot connect to active sync..... so i went through it and then nothing happened im still in the situation i was before... and then i tried flashing it using hspl and still it keeps saying error bad spl.... and right now my bootloader screen saids spl 2.10.000.. please someone help me... do i need to use a different spl??? cause i still cant access my phone.. i cant connect to active sync either..
I got my HD2 only five months back, and it's a TW version flashed with HK official rom release. It worked well until official 3.14 rom has come. I flashed the 3.14 HK version rom and when restart, it stuck up at first boot screen(HTC LOGO). After reset it cannot enter the OS any more and only go to the bootloader. I tried flash all kinds of roms and every time flash was success but it still goes to bootloader directly. Finally I took MTTY and without luck my HD2 got bricked after executing some "task ". It would't turn on at all. So I think it is totally bricked and took it to JTAG repair. The strange thing is, when it is fixed with JTAG and it will boot into a completely white screen(no htc logo). After many times JTAG fix still only white screen.
Anybody can help me with the problem and tell me what happened to my HD2, any luck it can be revived?

I wanted to create a thread about Bricked dhd's. The point is to show people what they need to do to have they're phones back to life.
Since I don't understand much about this, i hope that if you know what to do, then post it here
I had bricked my phone today. I was flashing a new ROM and suddenly, BANG... i don't know what happened, maybe the usb cable got unplugged for a few seconds, or maybe the way i was doing it wasn't the best way to do it (hehehe) Actually i was flashing the device with ace hack, thephone rebooted a few times for the procedure, and on the last time was the show. The white bootscreen of htc, and really nothing more, nor even "a little bit brilliant" lol
After that I found a few threads about bricked phones but none of them helped I just can't the computer to recognize the phone while in htc bootscreen, nor on Hboot screen and nor even on Recovery screen. I tried to flash a few recovery roms, with no success, but then I had a light!!!
The proccess were saying that (when applying the sdcard update.zip) the file or directory didn't exist. So I thought in changing the name of the zip folder for "update"
Didn't work... (OHHHHHH...bagga) But the result were different.
After it veryfies the update package, the error message, saying :
"E:signature verification failed"
at least the result were different, so what i'm trying to do next is to download the RUU file, with my radio, since the boot is 0.80... weird. After that i'll rename it to update and then probably it will work. If it was a problem with the signature, maybe now it should work.
Well give me your opinion and share here your knowledge so we can help the whole lot of people who bricked they're phones (and me too )

Hello, and sorry for the post asking for assistance!
been driving me nuts for 2 days now, it seems i'm having a major case of melting HD2
it started with the phone freezing often, reboot solved it.
then, it went to having to unplug battery for a few, and, reboot fixed it.
now i'm at a constant white screen (no htc logo)
was running in Android but tryign to just get anything working for now.
i made the sd card leoimg.nbh with a custom rom to recover it, but i can't get it to finish
in red : Radio_V2 Fail
in blue : all the rest
tried to flash radio update, failed
tried to update the HSPL version (2.8one now) but no go, it shows "success" but in bootloader shows the same old version.
what can be the cause of this, exept memory nand being screwed?

Not alot to be done i think...
Keeps coming up on white screen.
Tries to flash HSPL (newer version) finishes but it still shows the same version when powering +volume MIN.
Tried to flash a Radio, comes up with an error Radio V2 error
Tried to push a ROM on there, gives a "image file is corrupted"
Tried what i found here on the different forum threads but....seems my HD2 gave up on me...or at least it's beyond my repair skills.
Thanks for those before me who gave suggestions on what to try, it's a damn sad day i loved that phone..

Try to do a Task29. Use the HD2 Toolkit for that.
You have to JTAG it in order to recover it. RADIO_V2 means it's radio, and it's officially bricked. There's nothing you can do other than JTAG to recover it
Well, in a way i'm glad i have the answer now about the V2 being the radio ...
Thanks for the input guys, not sure i'm going to bother with the JTAG story, already ordered a replacement for my HD2 as it is, can't spend too much time without my phone.
Anyone knows if people are interested for the "bricked" HD2's? or how to reach people?
