Beta Driver Issues (326.41) - Shield General

I am re-downloading the 320.49 Geforece Drivers to install because windows 7 keeps switching to the basic theme and causing my games to crash.
Has any one else had similar issues?

I have not ran into that issue myself. I am currently running 326.41 with a 660ti. Maybe you can try the custom install option and putting a check on clean install.
I always use this option to make sure things install properly.

The issue happens when using the 326.41 beta drivers used for streaming.

I'm sorry I copied the wrong numbers. That is what I get for being lazy.

If someone who has the 320.49 drivers installed can check if you have the streaming service installed that would be great.
also if you have updated to GFE 1.6
I am going to guess it will not be there.

From what I can tell it will not be there, so i added it my self and streaming works on 320.49.

HTC Sync 2.0.31

If (for any reason) you lost the install on your SD card that came with the Evo, I have created a torrent for this.
If you've never used a torrent before, just go and download uTorrent to open the file.
http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5609530/HTC_Sync_2.0.31_(Evo_4G)
You may ask "Why use a Torrent?", well it doesn't bog down the xda servers and can offer very fast download speeds when used en-masse.
Enjoy!
Why not just go to the source and get the latest version (which is 2.0.35 by the way):

some people, apparently, can't access it. maybe they're out of country or something. i posted the same link in a thread yesterday, and someone couldn't get it.
I can't get it. it takes me to a screen where it wants you to select your phone, and the EVO is not listed.
v2.0.33 is available further down, but will not install on my Win 7x64 system.
Sorry, it installs, but won't run; some .dll missing, I uninstalled it. I reinstalled as admin, and same thing, uninstalled again.
Can anyone post up the v.35 file somewhere?
thanks
They don't make a mac version, do they?

I had the same thing happen to me (some log.something was missing) with the shiopped version (2.0.31). I just ran the installer again and ran the app after connecting the phone and it worked.
Edit: and yes, you have to disable virus protection (and a reboot after install couldn't hurt either).

Latest Leedroid and ADB/Eclipse

I just installed the latest leedroid, trying to test my app on different builds. Found an issue and wanted to debug. However, adb can't connect to my device, it sees it but lists it as offline.
Was running cm7 before sans problem. Any ideas anyone?
cheers

Try re-install the adb drivers. You could do this by just installing HTC Sync which should be on your SD card.

Just try rebooting and/or switching the USB port. Fixes it every time I get this problem. (It might be different for you, but it's worth a try)

Kindle fire adb driver and utility version question

Quick question... anyone have a link to get the adb driver folder for the KF? And what KFU version should I use. I heard v.9 had problems and I should use v.7. Any truth to this?
Sent from my Kindle Fire using xda premium
use last version - drivers are included - be shure to install theese before using kfu (install_drivers.bat)
Thanks a ton! That was my next question. So pumped to root. Thanks again

The latest version is 9.1 when I last saw, but check and use the most recent. Worked like a charm for me.
Most problems occur when you don't have the proper drivers installed and there is no communication between Windows and the KF, so make sure they can speak.

I've rooted about 4-5 different android phones and the kindle fire. Nothing causes more problems then getting the drivers to work. It's always been the part that causes me problems (if I run into any) and on the internet it's almost always what causes people problems when rooting.

is there a way to tell that my drivers are installed properly and working and I am in good shape to begin the root. I would hate to think that I had installed the drivers properly then begin to root, only to find out that the drives were not installed correctly and f*** my kindle up.
Thanks everybody

I used v.9, and it seems that the utility is having a hard time downloading the TWRP recovery image. I checked the size of the file it downloaded, and it was only about 8 KB, while the actual image is 10 MB. I know v.7 works, though, since I used it initially.

[Q] Error windows 8

Hi all, after installing windows from scratch 8 appeared to me the same error that says: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (aswnet.sys), it is very annoying as a problem and I often would you know I like to solve it??
If you're running Avast build 7.0.1474, you could try one of the updated patches for Avast at http://public.avast.com/~rypacek/patches/, or uninstall Avast until they release a fix.
If you go the uninstall route, I would highly recommend using another AV (and not running the computer without an AV) such as Avira Free Antivirus.

Be sure to follow the instructions there, as the self-defense module will restore the older version if it hasn't been disabled first.

It sounds like you didn't enable it correctly. It works fine on my phone. Did you open Viper and install the driver in super high quality and enable it? You also have to select it in settings/sound/music effects. Also it might not work with the samsung player but this is a Viper issue not the ROM.
Every time I open it it ask to install drivers I enabled it and turned it on in settings

That's strange try clearing the cache in the application manager for Viper also if you haven't update supersu. You will be better off flashing the update in safe strap.
This maybe a dumb question but what file do I need to upgrade binary on su

This one Flash it in safestrap. It's better to ask if you aren't sure.

One last thing. Go here and download the latest Viper4Android FX, FX version v2.3.3.0. Extract the zip and copy ViPER4Android_FX_A2.3.apk to your ext SD card and reinstall the app. Don't use the ViPER4Android_FX_A4.x.apk file it will force close. That should do it. If not try a clean wipe and reinstall the ROM to the stock slot. I know it's a pain but other than what I suggested already I'm out of options. I have no idea why it's giving you a hard time in the first place.
Thank you that worked thanks for your time
