Modem crash has been occured (LG Optimus L7) (Update info added)

Hi.
EDIT: Update Info added at the end of the page.
I hope someone will be able to help me.
First I apologize if this question already exist, but I'm too tired, and I hope there won't be a lot of grammar errors.
My brother had some error with LG Optimus L7 saying "Modem crash has been occured".
But first more details.
As I said:
LG Optimus L7 is what he is using.
He have few apps installed: sofascore, avg, viber, WhatsApp - I will be able to write full list of apps later this day.
Yesterday he update it to newest version of android - "Android 4.2, Jelly Bean"
There wasn't any problem for the whole day;
And then in the morning something happened with the phone.
And this message was on the phone - And since the picture I had taken with another phone is little doubled I hope I will write what does the error says correctly :
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Modem crash has been occured
Please do following action
Capture this screen
Get ramdump file from "OPBT" (I think) - Memory Debug App Tool
Send email to (I think it says) [email protected]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ERR crash log report, Version 2. - Does this mean that there was also another crash......if yes, did phone restart itself then.....and is it possible to restart itself.
Error in file NV (I think), line 0
Time of crash.... some time - 3 a.m.
Now it says something I can't read.....
Build ID: PF00-M722FA-V20a-MAR-08-2013-XX - something like this.
REX-TOB ptr: 0x2?4f6300 ?-means something
tCD: task_name: DOO
Register values from nex (I think) core:
And now there is ~15 more or less "errors" which I can't read, but they say this I think:
ARM_SWC_R0 : 0x0A0A0A0A
ARM_SWC_R0 : 0x000000000
.........
ARM_SWC_R10 or RT0 : can't read.
ARM_SWC_R10 or RT0 : can't read.
ARM_SWC_R12 or RT2 : can't read.
More likely it is R12 and R10.
........
What else I can read:
ARM_JVH_SPSR : 0x00000000
....... - means that Error repeat itself or I can't read it so I can't write it
And it is possible that SWC is actually SVC
Above is on the left column, and this is on the right one:
ARM_SVC_R1 : 0x00000000
ARM_SVC_R3 : 0x00000000
ARM_SVC_R5 : 0x00000000
ARM_SVC_R7 : 0x00000000
ARM_SVC_R9 : 0x00000000
ARM_SVC_R11 : 0x00000000
ARM_SVC_CP (I think) : 0x00000000
.........
ARM_CPSR : 0x00000000

Also - the battery drained a lot, from 70% (12:30 am - 8 a.m.) to 10%, even more.
Also, it is a new Phone, 1 week old, so it is still under warranty if this is some bigger problem.
Thank You for your help, hope someone knows what could be the problem, any advice appreciated.
Should we worry about this.
EDIT: Update Info:
It seems that "we" needed to "restart" the phone after we update it. (Since the phone restarted itself after the update we didn't think about that then)
And that Notice we didn't saw anywhere till yesterday on some forum.
After that day, after phone crash error has appeared - ALL works perfectly since then.
All improvements by Update you can really notice, especially about battery, battery drain is a lot slower with this new update.
So, I could say that the problem is solved. If one day repeat itself, I will be back.
Thank YOU!
Best Regards

[Q] i9505 No Wifi, what should be in /persist ?

Hi Folks,
Another "no wifi" s4 here. This is a work colleagues phone that was totally stock. After upgrading to 4.4.2, wifi won't turn on. I've tried pretty much everything I've found on this site with regards to fixing it. The last thing that I hadn't looked at was the /persist folder (MMCBLK0P17). The one on this phone is empty and from what I've read, it should be populated. Could someone with a rooted i9505 post a list of the contents or better still, upload a copy of their /persist folder please?
TIA!

So far I've tried the following:
Flashing the wifi-fix
Re-partitioning before flashing a stock rom
Rooting, Phillz recovery, clear dalvik, factory reset and format for new rom option before flashing various different 4.4.2 UK stock roms.
Editing build.prop and changing "ro.securestorage.support=true" to false.
Removing the back, removing and replacing the antenna wire.
Flashing a CM11 nightly.
Deleting wpa_supplicant.conf
Dmesg shows some interesting stuff.

As I'm typing this, the phone has a stock rom and isn't rooted. I've just rooted again with CF-ROOT and Odin, rebooted the phone and wifi enabled instantly, something I've not seen before! It was the first boot and SuperSU wanted to update and reboot. After the reboot, wifi will no longer come on again.
I See you have the same error as I'm having:
Code:
<6>[ 1277.822692] mmc1: Slot status change detected (1 -> 0)
Can you check dmesg for mmc1 CRC errors and post output here?

So after pretty much giving up and weeks of flashing and faffing around. I managed to get wifi enabled. I've no idea how but I went from stock rom XXUGNG2, rooted with CF-AUTO-ROOT, Phillz recovery installed and a Cyanogen nightly and no wifi. Flashed XXUGNG2 back to the phone and wifi sprung into life! I then flashed XXUGNG8 and wifi still worked! I then performed a factory reset from Backup & Reset and wifi hasn't worked again since!?!?
So I'm not so convinced now that it's a hardware issue as I first thought.....
Lucky you I tried every possible solution. The interesting thing is that if I flash stock I can see Wifi mac, toggle button is "alive" but wifi won't turn on. If I flash cyanogen, wifi mac is not available and the wifi button is gray saying "turning wifi on" like forever.

Like you, I'm back at exactly the same place. Cyanogen won't even let me turn wifi on now, the button is grayed out and says "turning wifi on". Stock roms show a pale green wifi signal icon until it turns gray again and fails. Arghhh how did I get it working briefly?!

When people learn that means "nightly" with CM?

[Q] How to update/flash/dump touchscreen firmware

Hi all,
I got problem with touch screen on my china phone - it happens when i flashed newer official ROM - after flash everything works nicely ... but as i am working with phone it freezes, vibrates and reboots and after that the touch is completely screwed up. From my perspective it looks like something suddenly changed Calibration or firmware of touch screen (the flash of backup/another ROMs didn't help)
only thing i found on this topic is here but it is for specific tablets:
modaco.com/topic/355021-most-touchscreen-issue%E2%80%99s-explained-and-the-reason-some-touchscreens-are-dying-on-p10an01%E2%80%99s-advent-vega-viewsonic-10s-point-of-view-mobii-ect/
From android i floked up for files but they didn't contain any calibration for screen so i am assuming these data are saved in touch firmware.
source.android.com/devices/input/touch-devices.html
in *.idc i got
qwerty.idc
touch.deviceType = touchScreen
touch.orientationAware = 1
keyboard.layout = qwerty
keyboard.characterMap = qwerty
keyboard.orientationAware = 1
keyboard.builtIn = 1
cursor.mode = navigation
cursor.orientationAware = 1
needrom.com/download/star-n9002-mt6582 -This is my phone and ROMs i FLashed
Did anybody encounter touch issues ?
Any ideas or suggestions ?
Is there any possibility to calibrate it in android ?
Thanks, any idea or suggestion will be deeply appreciated

adb shell settings get secure bluetooth_address
