Hello, a query. Anyone know how to disable physical keys? Or, failing that, turn off your lights?

I use Keyboard backlight controller from Play Store and works like a charm, you have to do it every time you reboot (i reboot once a day or in 2 days)
LEDs_Hack_1.2.10 navel install, run, give permission superuser. When you click the start menu and select preferences and set the phone to LG Shine Plus and now you have the box back on and off, you click off superuserze off only because they will notice you jumped

Hi all!
I have that weird problem with the screen.
During phone call my touchscreen becomes unresponsive, but only when I had it by ear. I can't get access to the dial pad or any button on screen.
The only buttons which work are three buttons under the screen and of course all hardware ones. So to finish the phone call I have to use power button. After which screen works again.
Do you know any way to fix it?
I'm on official GB 2.3.3 Korean Olleh.

Problem with proximity sensor, i think you have instaled any app for turn off screen during a call, maybe, have you do hard reset?
Im having this very same issue runing the olleh GB 2.3 rom as well.

I use this:

so i recently bought a nexus 4 and am a little confused with some minor issues i found. I'm not sure if these are glitches or things that are just there so please, don't hate.
first of all i have noticed that if i have my android keyboard open when i put my phone to sleep, when i wake it up, the downward facing navigation button appears on the lock screen. this is the button in place of the back key that allows you to hide the keyboard when in messaging, browser, etc. but it kind of bothers me that it appears in the lock screen and is responsive, but doesnt serve any purpose.
the second issue is that the lock sound seems to be a few seconds delayed.

I was in chrome when the screen went black (not turned off). restart the phone but no longer start, only the led flashing, try to enter recovery mode but nothing, then no longer lit the led and the screen showed lines of colors (watch the video). vibrates touching the fingerprint sensor and even the alarm sounds in the morning.
I want to know if this is a hard brick or a damaged component. Can this be solved?

This was one of the first feature implemented in CM(LOS now). You have an option in button settings to enable this since an year or so.
I don't know on MIUI, I ditched it as soon as custom ROM we're available.

I have the foolowing problem. During a phone call, when I move the phone away from my ear and want to terminate the call I CAN'T - problem is that the screen dos NOT turn on automatically. Has anybody experienced the same problem? If so, is there any solution or workaround?

That works. However, I found out this has nothing to do with the proximity sensor. The screen just goes to sleep and locks after the set 'sleep' interval even during a call. I tried factory reset, safe mode, nothing helps...
