No, Sammy apps won't work without the Sammy framework.apk
MIUI is based on CM7

EDIT: No problems with Whatsapp, no update Brick.
In this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2643041 from 10.02.2014 somebody got a softbrick after updating whatsapp on stock 4.1.2 !!!!
I got this update-notification yesterday too but will not install until is it confirmed as non-brick.
Did somebody install it without softbrick ???

Mine is fine with v2.11.150. I don't see a way how an app update could brick a phone.
An App like WhatsApp can't brick the phone, it's just an assumption.
I am having problems using the camera (the stock of Google, goes well) but that comes with the passing omnirom video gives Fc and I have to delete data to make it work again. The solutions that I read are installing another camera, but I want to use that, and I want to find a solution. Thanks for your help and sorry my english

They might work, might send your device into a bootloop.
Just make a backup.
Personally, I don't think they would work, but no harm in trying.
Frankly, I don't think that the Note 3's performance needs improving. I use it quite heavily and have never really encountered any lag.
Tested.
It does NOT work properly. When you substitute the Dalvik libraries the phone boots ok but some apps crash (Google and TW).

It'll only work with Google ROMs - TW framework is too modified for it to run (smoothly) on a Samsung device.
